Will this variant be compatible with Tmoblie Lte bands (USA) - Note 7 Questions & Answers

they are currently selling on ebay the Note 7 duos n930fd.
I was wondering if it would be compatible with band 12?
What do you guys think? This seems like a good option for someone wanting to buy the phone unlocked

Galaxy note 2 dual sim

Hey all,
Do you guys know anything about the note 2 that coming out for dual sim, i was doing research online and find out that China has it, however is going to have the same spec as the Hong Kong version which has no LTE network.
Do anyone know they will have a US version coming out note 2 with Dual sim feature?
I want to find dual sim note ii too, but no information about price and where to buy
I've no source for this but it's likely to be an Asian only variant.

If you bought it straight from Samsung, or at least not from a mobile carrier it should come out as unlocked therefore you could use it anywhere in the world as long as it's LTE compatible, but there's no such thing as a Note 8.0 LTE available and there's not even a release date for it although it is supposed to be coming out, maybe in a few months.
You could get the 3G version from the Philippines but if you're trying to get it down to Hong Kong, it might turn out to be quite expensive for you

4g? USA don't even have the 3g version yet, so no LTE for sure, if you are in Hong Kong you should know right?
Band is a main concern if you'd like to use any US LTE device in Hong Kong. It will turn out LTE won't work.
US LTE uses 700,750,850,AWS,1900,2500(TDD)
HK LTE uses 900,1800,2600
Do you think will it work?

My understanding is that the AT&T Note 8 is only available in the US. So the short answer to your question is -- nowhere.
Maybe find one on ebay?

I wish... but couldn't find any on the web..
There was 1 on ebay US when I posted. BIN $550 but not sure if they shkp to CA tho.
Mine was delivered yesterday. I added 2 lines to my share plan. Got 1 S4 Active and a Note 8 LTE for $362 shipped. The Active I'm selling and terminating the line. Needed to buy Active for $99 to get the Note 8 for $199. If I get the $100 billing credit it showed I got.a smoken deal.
The AT&T promotion might make more available on eBay possibly.
There is an sgh-i467M model for Canada. Samsung just hasn't released the details about it yet. Pretty sure it's coming here and it will be different than the U.S. one. Maybe give it one more week. Starting to see leaks about July 11.

I dont think it will be so different... I guess the "M" in the sgh-i467M is for marketing

You could be right but I don't remember seeing a difference with the Note II. There's always the advantage of the proper frequencies and warranty coverage though.

Well for one thing the LTE Bands most used in Canada is the AWS 1700/2100 and then the 2600 Band. Most people in Canada don't want the AT&T version. They want the full version with phone function. The HK or Singapore version has the 2600 LTE Band but you have to watch out for the HSPA Bands because some of those models are missing the 1900 3G Band. Rogers/Fido uses the 2600 Band though it's not as large an area as the AWS Band. The HK version should work but I don't know of anyone here with one to test.

I tought the sgh-i467 wasn't the hk version but the att version ... don't att and rogers uses the exact same frequency range ?
also, for the phone feature, it's not in the sgh-i467 ? do you mean only the apk was removed or also the microphone ?
thanks !

I'm talking about the device as it relates to it's N5120 LTE version number not specifically the source code numbers sgh-i467, sgh-i467M. The AT&T version removed the phone earpiece hardware from their model. If you look at the HK model you will see the earpiece speaker above the Samsung logo. I don't know if the internals have been changed but the source code doesn't allow for phone function. People are trying to get the phone function to work through Bluetooth or wired headphones but I haven't heard of anyone doing it yet.
In Canada the 2 LTE Bands are AWS 1700/2100 and the 2600.
I think AT&T also use the AWS and the other one is 800 or something like that. Ok so it's the 700 not 800.

[Q] H810 AT&T variant and roaming LTE bands

Hi all,
Thinking about picking up the G4. I do some occasional travel to Europe for work, about once a quarter. As such, I am looking at the G4 variant that will work on both sides of the Atlantic. It looks like I can pick up the International H815 that should do just fine. But being here in the States, I'd probably have to special order one.
I took a look at the specs for the AT&T H810 variant, and it says that it has the LTE bands 1, 3, 7 for Roaming. Incidentally, the band I need for my carrier in Europe is band 3.
So my question is does included hardware support band 3? Would I be able to use my Europe SIM in the phone and connect to band 3? Or does the roaming imply I can only access band 3 with my USA SIM when I am roaming in Europe?
Any insight would be helpful! Thanks!

I just ordered a brown leather 815 on eBay for 700. By the time you figure taxes and getting leather option and not having to deal with ATT sounded like a decent deal. I hope I can get the free goodies from Lg. Plus it should be here by the June 1st or so.

Provided AT&T allows you with Unlock code to use Europe SIM. I doubt.
Sent from LG G3 D855 Powered by L Speed 2.2
FWIW ATT actually gave me the unlock code within 2 days. Pretty fast.

Note 10 plus 4g vs 5g international version

Hello all, I was planning on getting the Note 10 plus international to use on ATT in the US. The reason being is because the Exynos has support for rooting and custom roms. My question is if i were to purchase the international version, what would be the difference between the 5G and regular 4G? Would the 5G work in the US? Regular bands seems identical on both devices, but would the 5g also work once they are available?
Thank you in advance
I currently have the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 SM-N950F/DS Dual SIM. It been working great for the past couple of years.

This is up to you if you want too future proof the device with getting 5h or not so? I recall 5g will be rolling out slowly in the US.
Thats the idea, but will it actually work? On att in the US if I purchase the international 5g model?
Ps. Is the snapdragon versions still an issue to install custom roms?
I don't know if it's important for you, but the 5g model is single sim only. Dual sim is only available on the 4g version.
Had the dual sim for my note 8 because of availability, but I do not have a need for the dual sim. Just was curious as to the band compatibility of 5g because i cant find anywhere where it states that the european 5g is the same as us 5g
