My understanding is that the AT&T Note 8 is only available in the US. So the short answer to your question is -- nowhere.

There was 1 on ebay US when I posted. BIN $550 but not sure if they shkp to CA tho.
Mine was delivered yesterday. I added 2 lines to my share plan. Got 1 S4 Active and a Note 8 LTE for $362 shipped. The Active I'm selling and terminating the line. Needed to buy Active for $99 to get the Note 8 for $199. If I get the $100 billing credit it showed I got.a smoken deal.
The AT&T promotion might make more available on eBay possibly.
There is an sgh-i467M model for Canada. Samsung just hasn't released the details about it yet. Pretty sure it's coming here and it will be different than the U.S. one. Maybe give it one more week. Starting to see leaks about July 11.

You could be right but I don't remember seeing a difference with the Note II. There's always the advantage of the proper frequencies and warranty coverage though.

SGH-I467 uses north-american lte frequencies so its the same for Canada and US
Finally found one on ebay, should arrive in a few days

Well for one thing the LTE Bands most used in Canada is the AWS 1700/2100 and then the 2600 Band. Most people in Canada don't want the AT&T version. They want the full version with phone function. The HK or Singapore version has the 2600 LTE Band but you have to watch out for the HSPA Bands because some of those models are missing the 1900 3G Band. Rogers/Fido uses the 2600 Band though it's not as large an area as the AWS Band. The HK version should work but I don't know of anyone here with one to test.

I tought the sgh-i467 wasn't the hk version but the att version ... don't att and rogers uses the exact same frequency range ?

I'm talking about the device as it relates to it's N5120 LTE version number not specifically the source code numbers sgh-i467, sgh-i467M. The AT&T version removed the phone earpiece hardware from their model. If you look at the HK model you will see the earpiece speaker above the Samsung logo. I don't know if the internals have been changed but the source code doesn't allow for phone function. People are trying to get the phone function to work through Bluetooth or wired headphones but I haven't heard of anyone doing it yet.
In Canada the 2 LTE Bands are AWS 1700/2100 and the 2600.
I think AT&T also use the AWS and the other one is 800 or something like that. Ok so it's the 700 not 800.

Appears the N7105 will be international and support European LTE bands, which is different from USA. Appears the N7100 will support LTE bands (ATT etc) in U.S., but not totally confirmed. Just pointing out, still a question. if you just wait to get from ATT, as an example, previous post is totally correct, no differences at this point.

Well I hope the international bands are the same for LTE, Cause I wanna plan on buying the international one, Upgrading my N7000. The reason why is cause By the time I pay for TAXES to pay retail at AT&T It would be about $50 dollars cheaper to buy the international one

Traditionally the international units tend to get software updates sooner.

Support for GSM is just a part of it. It need to be able to use multiple frequency bands(which it does) normally it it's tri/quad band it's ok, But also it need to have a SIM slot which you can replace SIM card from carrier outside the US then you can call that a world phone.

It's because the chipset has been different. In this case, Note 2 will have the same Exynos for all models. It means compatibility across the board is a possibility.

All of the Major US carriers have already leaked pics of their Note II's.
They are all the same no difference at all.

From the FCC documents I think the way to go is T-mobile.
T-mobile version will have all the bands needed for LTE in USA and all bands needed for use overseas.

If you live in an area where T-mobile is switching over their 1900mhz frequency T-mobile might be faster. If not ATT will probably be faster.

Assuming that the hardware for the TMO and ATT versions are different, will there likely be a substantially different price for the unlocked versions of these phones?

According to [1] the t-mobile version of the S4 has the following LTE bands: 1/2/4/5/7/17, which correspond to 2100 1900 1700 850 2600 700MHz.
- Bands 1 and 4 are clear, as those are the main t-mobile LTE bands.
- Metro PCS uses band 2, so given the pending merger to t-mobile, this makes sense as well.
- Band 17 is used by AT&T, which would hopefully mean a T-Mobile Galaxy S4 can be fully used on AT&T including LTE.
- Band 7, is commonly used around the world, including Canada, some countries in South America and Asia and many countries in Europe. So this should allow for using the device in many countries abroad e.g. through roaming, or buying a pre-paid sim when overseas on business or holidays.
But why did they include Band 5? According to wikipedia [2] that band is only used by very few carriers around the world. Would it have not made more sense to include e.g. Band 3 (1800MHz), which is commonly used for LTE in Europe and Asia, including most of the European T-Mobile networks. That would have allowed for much broader roaming.
Furthermore, can someone confirm that the information on the webpage is correct and particularly that T-mobiles S4 really has band 7 (2600MHz) included?

Theoretically, yes, it should work on AT&T fine as the device does support all of AT&T's bands, including their LTE bands. Of course it needs to be SIM unlocked in order for you to be able to put an AT&T SIM in it though.

To your question why. .....if they did include this to American version S4 then there will not be difference to international S4 LTE version. ....There is two different devices 9500&9505...it's a market democracy that separate this market for known reason. ....otherwise ....There is going to be way some time on road to flash different modem to give you other bands. ....flashing modem will not make hardware frequency to make changed. ...

If you go to US tmobile website and go to specification you will see exactly what you looking. ...just remember there is also important to look for given band on frequency you will operate in Europe. ..my note II Was running fine on A1 Austria Tmobile Orange and tele ring company. ...When I was in Europe. ...in Australia I was not capable running LTE be cause I do have 2600 MHZ frequency just no band for Australia. ....

Ah, looks like they have updated their page to include more details now. When I looked a couple of hours ago it still only said "LTE compatible" with no indication of the exact frequency and bands it supports.
As the specs on t-mobile.com and samsung's us page now match in claiming it does have support for band 7, I'll assume it actually does. But given that the AT&T page still claims the S4 has FM radio and the supported LTE frequencies of the AT&T spec page don't match the Samsungs's spec page, it seems even the "official" specs can't always be trusted.

Well, it looks like the Tmobile version of the S4 may be the one to get for a lot of us on ATT and in Canada since it has the right bands and the bootloader isn't locked. It just needs to be sim unlocked.
i am very interested in this option. I guess what we need is some confirmation from folks in the field/first hand experience.
I guess we need to wait for someone to sim unlock and test the LTE?

Is the sim on the T=mobile version a micro? AT&T uses full size sims. Of course, getting a micro-sim from AT&T or using a sim cutter should work, but it is still a consideration. It also needs to be determined if the radio (software baseband) of the T-Mobile S4 takes advantage of the Hardware frequencies the phone supports. In other words, will it be optimized for AT&T networks.
The next important question is - how do you SIM UNLOCK the T-mobile S4?
If T-Mobile doesn't give you the unlock code, then this is moot.

SIM locked it would be as always. Bootloader locked no one knows yet. SIM unlock on previous Galaxy devices has been done for free, or for a minimal cost.

I want to buy it from a US Carrier be use it comes with US Warranty. I bought Intl Note before and went dead on me...no warranty of course. I know this is rare, but having a dead $600 phone once is enough for me
Anyways, if Tmo won't provide the SIM unlock code (AT&T does), then there's no point buying it from Tmo because the phone is always locked to their network.
I would have bought the phone from AT&T, but the bootloader is locked.

Ouch, that's understandable for sure. I've been lucky that my international Galaxy S I-III are all still running well.

I bought the Note 1 from Amazon - the seller was selling it through Amazon Prime. When I searched for the International Note, none that I found (eBay, Amazon, etc.) offer a 1-year warranty with Samsung USA.
Interestingly, I used to buy the International version of Nokia phones (remember those good ol day?) and Nokia USA WILL honor the warranty (I have to ship it to Melbourne, FL).
I wish Samsung USA will do the same or have a local Samsung store, like Sony Store so I can buy the phone full price from them and have full warranty. Heck, even Amazon and NewEgg are selling the Xperia ZL unlocked with US warranty! Right now my options are limited (AT&T have locked bootloader, T-Mobile SIM locked, I don't want CDMA phones).

Yes, it should be.
From what I have heard, the main difference between the AT&T / T-Mobile version and the International LTE version (9505) are the LTE Frequencies and Software / Bloatware the Carriers add.
The international one has LTE frequencies 800 MHz and 1800MHz, which the US T-Mobile version doesn't have, while the US T-Mobile version has the AWS Frequencies and the 700Mhz band, which the international one doesn't.
In refarmed areas, the international one should work for everything other than LTE, in areas not refarmed yet, you are likely back down to 2G.

Yes I'm aware that the N900T is the t-mo version, and that is the one I am interested in as I'm looking for bands 4 & 7 for use in Mexico with Movistar (B7); and Telcel (B4).
So if I read your response correctly ALL note 3 have support for LTE, Bands depending on specific model?

For Telcel - you would be better getting the N900w8 Canadian/Mexican version -- This version also has the ability to root without tripping KNOX and upgrade/downgrade to/from 4.4.2/4.3 - Which is nice -- Check out @polish_pat's guide over on the international Note 3 forum if you decide to opt for this model :good:
EDIT: Side note, not ALL note's support LTE - N900 Exynos do not support LTE as they have a different CPU.

Thanks for the suggestion, but besides the point that N900W are much harder to find, my main carrier is Movistar, Telcel is my "backup" mainly for my mifi liberate hotspot. I also travel frequently to the usa so I have a prepaid T Mobile SIM I also use, so for my scenario I think the N900T is the best option.

Some countries don't use it I guess - Samsung introduced the Exynos on the S4 I think, and done a Qualcomm model also which we know as Snapdragon 800 with LTE

I use my T-Mo unlocked Note 3 in Mexico on both T-Mobile and Telcel with no issues. I get LTE speeds with Telcel. I wasn't aware Movistar had LTE yet, but I only use them if I need a throwaway phone, which given my lack of illegal activity is never.
edit - I'll post a video on Youtube later of my Note 3 on Telcel's LTE using speedtest.net

The SM-N900T Note 3 supports bands 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 7(2600), and 8(900)
The B series LTE bands supported are B4 (1700/2100) and B17 (700)
It doesn't look like there is much of anything you can do since the SM-N900T doesn't support the LTE bands that are used in Asia.
