Anyone know how to remove this annoying notification?
I have already disabled the samsung and google voice keyboard..
Also turned off notifications from android system.
This notification would have vanished by now, in previous galaxy phones I've owned.

I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 with Wicked Sensations ROM and whenever I turn on the NiLS service it will disable swype on the default Samsung keyboard. I can switch to the swype keyboard and it works fine, however the Samsung Keyboard won't be able to use it. When I enable NiLS I get a notice in my notification center that Talkback is turned on, however it's not listed in the services and my phone won't actually use Talkback. I have read that Talkback and swype can't both be used simultaneously but don't have any other info on it. Has anyone else ran into this?
Just noticing that other apps are doing the same thing. NotifierPro also disables swype... All I want are banner style lock screen notifications for my text messages.
I was wondering if anyone can elaborate on enabling the peeking feature for notifications on 6.0 update?..as far as I can tell it's enabled for all my apps, yet I'm not receiving any notification at top of screen from any app. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
I've never heard of such a feature. What do you mean?
Part of the 6.0 update was peeking notification. U can access it through, settings, apps, then select the notification settings for each app...it's like toast notification. If you Google it or check lg update page it details this feature as part of update, but it's not working for me
If its the one where screens off andnslide down to see notifs. Lock screen must be enabled
OK, heres what I have done. I added a new notification sound to Textra, had done this with my previous phone and that works fine.
However, when I call up Google Assistant, the notification sound is played at the end after she has finished speaking and the file shows up in the notification bar at the top of the screen.
I have changed the Textra notification back to one of the stock ones and deleted the one I installed but it still keeps happening, still plays at the end of the Assistant speech.
Anyone know how I can fix this?

Is there an easy way to get rid of the Android System Upgrade 8.0 Notification? Tried swiping it off but it's persistent. I'm rooted & running PN. Automatic System Updates are turned off in Developer Options. (I'd rather not block all notifications from Google Play Services as a means to banish this notification)

Turn off messages from Google Play Services either through the app settings or by long pressing the notification.

Thank you for this. I was wondering how I could get rid of that fricking notification. I was essentially having two notifications constantly telling me that my Pebble is connected. Not needed.
