I've had my 2013 Nexus 7 for a while now and I recently flashed the factory image for 4.4.2 (from the Google Factory Images for Nexus Devices).
4.4.2 is running fine but I'm getting a lower total storage space (11.29 GB) than I'm supposed to have. I have the 32 GB version and I don't know why I have dramatically less storage space.

What does an app like SD Maid say about your partition space?
I managed to fix it by doing a Factory data reset under the Backup & reset settings menu.

Try using Clean Master app and maybe SD Maid from Play Store. You may have some stuff on your SD card left over. Sometimes the storage can get screwy and a factory reset with an OTA update is needed.
I'm trying to determine if I have a problem here, the storage usage of my Verizon Note 4 seems off. On PaulPizz CPF3, but I had the same issue on stock CPF3. The "Device Storage" shows 23 GB / 32 GB - I have currently one backup which is 7.4 GB, and the next largest is my download folder which has just under 1 GB. How much space should the rest of the files take? I see the system folder is 2.2 GB, my "DATA" folder is 14.5 GB - does this seem correct?
I need bin tot files Nexus 5x 790 16g please
I have a galaxy s9 G960F/DS the box says the storage should be 64gb but the device management says only 32 gb.
It is locked by the carrier. I have flashed the phone with AP and CSC of the openline firmware. Is it possible that the flashing of firmware cause the problem in the storage
I currently have a rooted Pixel 2 XL 64 GB, but have always wished I had sprung for the 128 GB version. If I were to get a 128 GB version, would I be able to restore the device from a full TWRP backup or would it be incompatible with the larger storage device?
The partitions on both devices are the same, except for the user storage, which isn't backed up when a nandroid is taken. So yes, you can use the 64GB backup on the 128GB device.
