LG G2 LS980 Sprint - DEAD (only logo LG) - HELP

Hello everybody,
after reading all posts here, I have rooted my phone with IORoot.
After this I have changed build.prop =SPR to =OPEN. When I reboot phone only seem the logo LG.
I tried put stock rom with LGflashtool (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476).
but return error sayng "incorrect version".
I tried wipe and hard reset, nothing working !
Please , anybody could help ?

you should try to push the correct build.prop via the adb. then all should work. and don't put OPEN in build.prop you should put spr (small letters)

SOrry but my cellphone is DEAD. ONly firmware update and recovery mode is working.

you still have custom recovery? if yes, adb side load sprint rom from the sprint development section, then flash it (make sure it flashes successful) Now, your phone should be a sprint g2 again. Now try flashing stock sprint rom via lg flasher tool. It should work now.

Hi great HTCfan89, tks your response, but I am very poor of acknowledge about how can I use adb ? I think I dont have custom recovery. This cellphone is recently bought from sprint at US and I am in Brazil.
Could you show me the way to use adb ?
I have tried firmware update but nothing happen.

updating through lg flasher tool, will not work. Because, it would think your lg isn't a sprint one anymore. so, first check if you have root, then flash custom recovery via this:

then, once you have custom recovery, flash an sprint rom from sprint development section. Also, to do this you need basic ADB knowledge which isn't that difficult.

g4 marshmallow help needed

hi i have an lg g4 h815T model its running on android lollipop 5.1... i want it upgraded to marshmallow... problem is there's no option for OTA update in about phone its running stock.. i want to get it to marshmallow ... phone is rooted(it was when i bought it used) rest i knw nothing... i can learn .... i have used Motorola razer n spyder rom n stuff before...
i just need right rom or kdz file linked please
any help would b appreciated

Plug your phone to your PC, and start LG Bridge to check for update.
LG Up also works, but you'll have to find a corresponding KDZ( not that easy )

Get LG Bridge from here: www.lg.com/hk_en/support/support-mobile/lg-H815T
Don't flash other variant‘s KDZ，or you’ll risk BRICK your device or get a null IMEI
H815T is not a common device and there're HK version and AUS version,use LG Bridge for safe.

Ok thank you... One last question Can i use cyanogen mod rom?? If yes which one?? I will b greatly in debt

no i think your phone cant be bootloader unlocked.
you cant root MM only LP thats why you had it rooted.
LP and MM system is different and on LP there was a hole that you could xploit it to rooted this changed on MM. in blocked.
so only in LP can be rooted with locked bootloader. wich am 100% your phone is. also if you plan to go back to LP make sure to know wich antirollback you are because different antirollback hard bricks phone..

still haven't managed to update mm... update file downloaded (1.67 gig~..too slow connection 4 hr to download this file) it started updating went to 9% than phone restarts into download mode and error pops up in bridge saying report recover error
can i download the update manually AND install it because stock downloader takes too long (normal downloading @150~200 kbs/s when my peak connection speed is 500~600 kbs/s)

yes you need to download the correct KDZ for it. i feel you i have 100kb connection. it took me all night to download ..
thats not good . can you enter sownload mode .. press vol up and connect usb. ?

i do not know wich one. i dont know what h815p stands for. what country.
heres the list am not responsable if download wrong file. is better to ask someone else.

Hi to all
I have lg g4 H811 T-Mobil was infected by monkey virus
I try all thing to remove the virus but not work
I soft rest and i hard rest but the virus still in the phone
So at the end i download the stock rom and i flash the phone
After flash phone not start at all no download mod no recovery no thing
In pc Now it show as hs usb qloader mode :crying:
Any help plz

i just asked cause theres antirollback if you were on Marshmallow 20o or upwards and flashed 10n then it hard bricks phone.. go to tmobile section and look or search. for unbrick.. i seen some threads but not sure if they work..

Help g3 f400l
I bought a g3 korean f400l it has preloaded upgraded stock marshmallow. But my g3 is not going into recovery mod. Because i want to root and install a custom recovery on it so i decided to downgraded to kitkat. I download f400l tot and dll file from cowstorage and successfully downgrade it. After restarting in startup setup mcafee wants a pin then i wrongly prssed some keys and then device locked by kill switch.mcafee says that we will mail your key to [email protected]. which is not my address.because i bought it second hand. Then i manage to remove kill switch with help of xda site but now i have lolli pop but no stock recovery what i have to do now. I want to install custom recovery and custom rom. Please help me.i want to enable hardware keys to enter in recovery . i used adb but when it goes into recovery there is only an Android with a yellow sign. Now i stuck on lollipop.

Redo the hard reset and try again. Also, I suspect that your screen is frozen (watch for changes in dot view mode, like time and battery percentage). It might also be that your tactile screen isn't working anymore and requires a change.

but the screen is not freezed as i can check my call history and time and battary status ,
also i made har reset and change all frim as i made new flash but problem still exist ,

Sorry, this is completely unrelated from the current topic but I reallly need help..I tried to flash a rom on my HTC but thr preloader got corrupted xo my phone go hard bricked. Pluging the phone into a computer just shows a red led and the computer shows nothing in device manager.
I tried uninstalling the MTK Preload VCOM driver and reinstalling it but that still didn't work.
Even pressing volume keys while connecting still gave nothing.
I also tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting the phone to the computer but still nothing.
If there is anyone, please help me.....

When my E9 got hard bricked, I sent it to a repair shop. They took a long time, but they brought it back to life.
