Unable to flash WM 6.5 [SOLVED]

Hi everyone, I bought my friend's old HTC Vogue today, and am interested in upgrading it to the custom 6.5 ROM. First off, I am familiar with flashing, however, I have an HTC Dream that I currently use with T-Mobile, and I am very confident in using it (flashing, etc). However, I am new to the vogue, and even though there are a lot of familiar things such as the boot loader and image files, I am unable to successfully flash a ROM. The phone is unlocked using the unlocked, however, after the ROM says that it has been successfully installed, the phone just hangs on the Verizon splash screen. My phone is NOT activated with Verizon, could this be the cause? I have the stock ROM so I can easily correct mistakes.
Alright, issue resolved!
How did you solve the problem?
I ran the same procedure and obtained the same results... How can I flash 6.5 on my Vogue after that?

continuos loop

Hi all
i've got problem on my desire!
i've changed rom i've put AuraxTSense v7.8.1
was perfect but on friday my phone died
i was calling and it just turned off ! nothing changed i tried to remove the battery and also to recahrge no led notghin
after some hours i tried again and was perfect... after like 10 hours it keeps restarting
i want to put the original version
my question is what can happen if i'm installing the original version during it it restart??
how long does it take to do that??? is a difficult process?
It's a fairly easy process you may as well give it a shot. Download HTC sync to your computer. Look in the dev section of the desire forums. Find the right RUU for your phone and download it. When HTC sync and your phone is connected run the RUU
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
thanks for the reply

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=768256
could be good for my italian desire???
it says this :This downgrade is not suitable for CDMA phones.what does it mean??
sorry for the bad english
please someone help me i'm really desperate!!!!
Read this thread: link.
thanks for the link
but my problem is that i want to unroot it !!!
and i don't know how to do that i've got hboot 0.93 !!!
I thought that you just want to revert to the stock ROM, not to unroot it? If that's the case, here is the list of official Desire ROMs: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695667. I don't think that there will be problems with Vista, or with device restarting occasionally, but I suggest you to find the right thread in Android Development subforum, read guides carefully and then ask questions in the proper thread. I'm still no expert in flashing Android phones, so unfortunately can't help you on this matter.

[Q] reboot and htc sync problems

Hi guys!
First : 2 months ago I've got the reboot-issue usually when i try use mobile network.
Sometimes i experience the problem after couple of minutes of playing with any game on my phone.
Which company i should send back the phone:- dial-a-phone , - orange , -htc.
Second : I tried to unroot the device but htc sync(3.0.5511) is not recognising it.
My phone is running Gingervillain 1.1 (gingerbread 2.3).Should i try downgrade first?
Anyone experienced this?Any suggestion?I wouldnt be worry if i know that i can send the phone back like this and they will return it with the stock rom without risking to lose the warranty.
Thanks in advance.
i would suggest flashing the WWE RUU before sending it back to Orange/HTC.
You will need a goldcard to do this if you dont already have one.
Do a search in XDA and you will find instructions on how to do it.
The RUU you want is 2.29.405.2 which you can download here...
http://shipped-roms.com/download.ph...9.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_151783_signed.exe
This will get you back to HTC stock, no root etc...
There isnt currently a way to get back to true Orange stock
thanks mike!

[Q] Extra slow booting&hboot operation after downgrading 2.50.405.2

Hello! Got DHD 2.50.405.2, downgraded it with fr3evo and misc_version to 1.32, and after this something happend with ?hboot? - powering up takes about 30 minutes - 20 minutes just black screen(so I thought phone completely broken), then HTC logo with approx 10 mins vibro, approx 5 mins silent, boot to android and then - working fast as usual. USB connection not recognizes, reboot to bootloader takes eternity and locks up in menu(maybe its just makes a move onse an hour, I dont tested so long)
Any advises?
... and you've flashed a new radio, flashed a 3rd party recovery, and a new rom as well?
.... or are you still running 1.32 since you didnt really understand why you were downgrading in the first place?

I am running unrooted 1.32 because bootloader freezes and usb connection not recognizes, just charging. This thing begins on the first reboot after 1.32 flashing, so I was unable to root, s-off etc. I have a plan to try root\s-off and manualy write hboot\radio in partitions area from terminal emulator, but want to gather some info before doing this, maybe there is another way? And what is so special in 2.50 stock rom phones so they acting so strange way on downgrade? Differs in hardware, deep fw versions or it was just corrupted 1.32 flashing?
Hello.

Soft-Bricked HTC One M9 - Missing IMEI/SIM/Device Information after flash.

Hi all,
I've been spending the last couple of days on these forums and google trying to resolve the issues I have been having nonstop since I decided to unlock and flash my HTC One M9 but I've run into a wall and don't know what else I can do to fix my phone. Stupidly I did not create a backup before flashing so I think I am up **** creek as I cannot install stock roms either. I've have been following the guides but having issues the whole time through with the M9 for some reason.
HTC One M9 - Telstra (Australia) S-ON
After lots of ****ing around I have successfully managed to Unlock, Install TWPR, Flash SuperSU, Flash Android Revolution custom rom. This has wiped all my IMEI/SIM settings etc. I managed to find the stock telstra RUU to got back to stock rom as this is how to fix this problem, except when I try to install I get errors saying 'Device id/information not found'
Does anyone have any similiar experiences or know of anyway to fix this? Any and all help is appreciated.
It's impossible to help without knowing your current firmware and the firmware of the RUU you wanted to flash.
Be aware that there is not "the stock telstra RUU". RUUs are always stock and normally HTC creates one for each firmware version of their phones. The catch is that they don't get distributed officially (unless they're made for US carriers) but leaked by insiders.
However, the problem with the IMEI is explained in the ReadMe thread.
