Hi guys!
First : 2 months ago I've got the reboot-issue usually when i try use mobile network.
Sometimes i experience the problem after couple of minutes of playing with any game on my phone.
Which company i should send back the phone:- dial-a-phone , - orange , -htc.
Second : I tried to unroot the device but htc sync(3.0.5511) is not recognising it.
My phone is running Gingervillain 1.1 (gingerbread 2.3).Should i try downgrade first?
Anyone experienced this?Any suggestion?I wouldnt be worry if i know that i can send the phone back like this and they will return it with the stock rom without risking to lose the warranty.
Thanks in advance.
i would suggest flashing the WWE RUU before sending it back to Orange/HTC.
You will need a goldcard to do this if you dont already have one.
Do a search in XDA and you will find instructions on how to do it.
The RUU you want is 2.29.405.2 which you can download here...
http://shipped-roms.com/download.ph...9.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_151783_signed.exe
This will get you back to HTC stock, no root etc...
There isnt currently a way to get back to true Orange stock
thanks mike!

Hey guys..i've got a big question...
i want to came back to the original ROM by installing the RUU from the HTC site...but when it reboot my phone in bootloader it says that the phone is not connected...but initially recognise it and what rom i've istalled....
I want to port the hero to the original situarion.....how can i do it? (original radio/spl)
now i've got a generic rooted rom with unlocked spl and the last radio...there's a way to re-intall the original spl? What's the problem during the official update? mey be cuz i'm superuser?
Thanks
+1
I'd also like to know how incase I want to go back.
I thought I simply run the update provided by HTC themselves.
Find the solution!!!!
you've got to use the HTC Update, but not the last...
We must use this:
RUU_Hero_HTC_WWE_1.76.405.1_R3_WWE_release_signed_ NoDriver.exe
Thank you for sharing it
I've already submitted a post this morning asking for a fix to a 'no audio' problem.
However, I think I now just need to take my Desire back to stock ROM (Vodafone UK).
I downloaded RUU_Bravo_Vodafone_UK_1.19.161.5_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_126338_signed.exe this morning, but when I try and install I get the following error message :-
ERROR[131]: CUSTOMER ID ERROR
My phone has hboot 0.75, has been rooted (obviously) and currently has OpenDesire 1.0c installed (really old I know)
Any advice on how I can take it back to stock ROM? A simple step by step guide would be appreciated. I need it back to stck ROM so I can send it back to HTC for inspection/repair due to a loss of external speaker audio.
Thanks
[UPDATE]
Managed to fix the problem. The reason the vodafone stock ROM wouldn't install is because I bought the phone second hand and it is actually an unlocked T-Mobile UK handset. So tried the T-Mobile stock ROM and it worked first time...D'OH!!! My phone is now back to T-Mobile stock ROM (unlocked to any network), unrooted and OTA'd to stock Froyo.
u need to install and run the HTC sync software on ur pc and then connect the phone to the pc via sync...once the phone is connect via sync to the software, double click on the stock ROM and follow the wizard on screen

Thanks Killa, but I've already tried that before your reply, but I get the
ERROR[131]: CUSTOMER ID ERROR.
Any other ideas?
hi guys, can some please help me on this. im a bit stock. i am on tmobile network and have a DHD and i would like to return to stock. i have gone to the HTC Desire HD files but i dont know which one to use for me to return back to stock. can anyone tell me which one it is or post a link for me please as i dont want to flash the wrong one. I really need it as i need to send it back for repair. I really need it asap. Also i have 1 problem, my volume up button is stuck and when i turn my phone on, it vibrates 3 times and the orange light just flashes. is there a way to sort this out?
Since you want to send it to repair, ask them to repair the "stuck" volume button problem.
here is the link to go back to stock.

Here is also a little shorter version from jkoljo's thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?t=857537):
"To go back to S-ON:
•Flash stock ROM (RUU)
•Temproot using Visionary
•Use my tool, do Stock CID and S-ON (enter brand CID if you had a branded device, see second post)
•Enjoy your factory-state phone"
And here is the RUU for Telus DHD http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=932771 (Notice that I'm not sure if this is the recommended version for your phone but this is the only one I could find with a quick search)
@hedayat7
Thanks for exactly copying one of my posts but it isn't the Telus RUU that he needs
@Rawdi
Was your phone branded when you got it?

i dont know if it was. how do i know if it was? please help me. i love my DHD too much for it to turn into a coaster. if i send it back to tmobile, even though i have rooted it, does it void the warranty?
What exactly did you do when you flashed a custom rom (assuming you did)?
@Hawks556 , hehe .. very lazy to type new post, found yours and copy paste.

nothing, i have the leedroid rom and what i did was a restart as it was playing up a bit. when i did the restart, the 3 vibrates started and the orange light started to flash. i went in to CWM and did a key test and the volume up button did not respond so i take it is stuck. the way that i go into CWM was i plugged in my charger and the CWM comes up. i really dont know what i can do. also i dont want tmobile to know that i rooted my DHD as i heard it voids the warranty. any ideas on what i can do?
I meant how did you flash it? Did you have to use a goldcard etc? Did your phone have any t-mobile logos anywhere (eg bootanimation) when it was running stock rom? If not then you can do this:
- Flash stock ROM (RUU http://xdafil.es/DesireHD/RUU/RUU_A....140e_26.03.02.26_M_release_155891_signed.exe)
- Temproot using Visionary
- Use my tool (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=857537), do Stock CID and S-ON (enter brand CID, should be T-MOB005 for t-mobile uk)
Above steps were provided by jkoljo
Also messing with the software shouldn't really void the warranty because the defective volume button is solely a physical fault. There could ofcourse be a dispute of somekind, but in the end they have no right to refuse warranty service.
This could though become o problem if you have any software related warranty issues in the future.
Hi there,
I m going to sell my phone to a recycling company so wanted to remove my root before sending it in.
I messed up a number of times by trying to install a lower version RUU, ended up with no ROM and unable to flash another ROM.
I remembered that i originally de-branded the phone using the WWE http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=869048, so used my goldcard and re-flashed.
So I am now back with working phone. Is it ok to send it like it is now or should I downgrade the hboot and flash with my original carrier RUU?
There aren't any further updates after froyo from HTC anyway, so they wont need a gold card and my phone is unlocked.
thanks
removed....
Please!
Where can i get the Mother Board for HTC Trophy to buy?
My Phone is on bootloader but it says Memory currpt.. it does allow me to install radio for a new update
Please help me
Thank you
Regards
Have you attempted to flash a stock rom to the phone? Or even use GoldCard to try and restore it first? It could be (i'd hope so anyway) a bad rom flash?
When did this start happening?

it has been off since one week .. when i try flashing rom .. it get stuck @ 10 %
10%, that's a weird number... if your phone is still under warranty and you haven't debranded it, I'd send it back to HTC to see if they can fix it... just try to flash a rom and hope that you can get a stock SPL flashed to it..
I would still attempt a GoldCard flashing if you have the ability to try it.

I had a similar problem with my friend's HD7. Tried the GoldCard approach - no luck with that. Tried official HTC service but they could't help either. If your warranty isn't void you should definitly send it back - if they can't fix it you get a new phone If you really want to try replacing the motherboard I think your best best is to look for "broken" Trophies on eBay. Hope you'll have more luck than I had...
