Cannot get into Recovery mode in AT&T H810 - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys,
I have AT&T H81020n MM 6.0 and I cannot get into recovery mode by pressing Vol Down + Power button. It just boots normally. Tried dozens of time. Any solutions? :crying:
Plus, I found a blog online which stated that G4 on 6.0 can be rooted, not sure if its legit. Anyone who got sufficient knowledge might wanna have a look and approve it?

TIA.

LG-F400K Steps to boot into recovery

Everyone knows the general steps to boot the general LG G3 into recovery, but at the very least the F400K variant is different.
1: Power + Volume up until LG logo appears
2: Release both and immediately press and hold Volume up + Volume down
I purchased my phone used and already rooted with recovery installed so maybe something was changed with mine but I don't think so as I have seen a lot of people complaining about this
Edit: As stated by itsbighead below, you can use a program called flashify as well. Thanks itsbighead!
Anyway, hope it helps someone!

I had a similar issue but was able to get into recovery mode and restore a backup.
Can you get to recovery like this
Power Down the LG G4
When Off, Press and Hold the Volume Down and Power Buttons at the Same Time
Continue Holding These Two Buttons Until You See the LG Logo
When You See the LG Logo, Let Go of the Volume Down and Power Buttons for 1 Second
After 1 Second has Passed, Immediately Start Holding the Power and Volume Down Buttons Again
Continue Holding These Two Buttons Until You Boot Up into the LG G4 Recovery Mode

Hi I'm sorry if you've already said you can't get into recovery mode or anything but when i bricked my g4 i used the lg flash tool to flash h815 10c stock and then instead of flashing the latest twrp (the blue themed one) i flashed the one before it which is 2.8.6.1 and it worked perfectly so if you manage to get into recovery or fastboot then try and flash that version of twrp instead , good luck buddy...

How did you "brick" (it's not) it? Kill switch is an anti theft feature, usually triggered remotely by the user.

This button combo you posted is wrong any way...you only release power for 1 sec and continue holding vol down and the re press power
I cut and pasted those instructions from another site. They held me back from fixing my phone for hours until I discovered the method you have mentioned. I haven't seen any site that tells us to do it like you said, I just was trying different ways and then hey presto!! it worked.

LG G3 D855 / flash failed / [FIX] Bootloop

Hello guys!,
Sorry If this is a re-post but to be honest I didn't find the solution to my problem in this forum.
So, I have an LG G3 D855 Lollipop 5.0 rooted, with TWRP and flashed ARM sdk21 in order to be able to use Xposed framework and, guess what? right, BOOTLOOP!. Believe me, I read many threads about HOW to access recovery mode or something else and found no quick solution for this problem. ALL that I found was to hard reset to factory settings, to use LG pc suite, flash stock firmware guide, etc, etc. I didn't want to go all the way back to Zero (loosing root), I wanted a quick fix and I found it.
If you get a bootloop (can't get passed LG logo), follow this:
1. Turn off your phone (remove the battery)
2. Put back the battery & close the cover
3. Press and hold the Volume Down + Power buttons together and release them when you see the LG logo on your LG’s screen
4. You must press and hold the Volume Down + Power buttons ONCE AGAIN until you see the ‘Hard reset screen
5. Press the Power button twice in order to confirm hard reset. If you have a custom recovery installed, your phone WON'T hard reset and will boot into recovery mode.
6. From your recovery you can try another framework or just to reset to factory settings.
I got most of the steps from here: http://androidflagship.com/9966-enter-recovery-mode-lg-g3
In my case, I chose another framework (SDK21) and it booted fine without reset anything. The xposed didn't work but I don't mind, I just wanted my cell phone to be working fine with everything installed before trying framework.
If for some reason you can't still get passed from Logo screen, you can check these methods:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2475045
http://lgg3root.com/lg-g3-root/how-to-unrootunbrick-lg-g3/
Also, the original method to use Xposed framework is as follows:

I hope this helped someone. Thanks team.

[Resolved] LG G4 (H815) Bootloop after installing SuperSu

Hello!
I have a big problem with my new LG G4 and i hope xda can help my. I have update to Android 6.0, unlocked the bootloader, and installed TWRP. This has everything works. Then i installed SuperSU with TWRP and now the phone will not boot. When I start the phone, then I only see the LG logo and is in the top left: "Bootloader state: bootloader unlocked (please look this screenshot: postimg.org/image/qzumppnb9). I can not in the recovery with the Power-Button and Volume +. And i can not connect with ADB/Fastboot. If i run a command in the console, than is wrtitten: "waiting for device"... And the Software "WinDroid" says: "Offline". After checking device: "No device found".
How can i connect to fastboot again and install a new rom or similar?
Please help me, what can i do? :crying:
Strange that i do not get help in this large forum. Regardless, it have found a solution.
For all people with the same problem:
You can access the recovery with the following key combination:
Power off your Phone
Press Volume DOWN + Power and hold this until you can see the LG-Logo
Then release only the power button for 1 second and press again until you can see the reset menu from the phone
Now confirm everything with YES and you can see the recovery
Then i installed this version of SuperSU (download.chainfire.eu/896/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.66-20160103015024.zip?retrieve_file=1) from the external SD card and Android is restarted!!

ZE551ML (Z00AD) TWRP not loading ...

Hi guys,
I might need some help here. I am a complete newbie, but after reading a lot on this forum decided to upgrade my Z00AD to Lineage OS. I practiced on a Wileyfox and everything went as planned; works like a charm. However, I got stuck on my Zenfone 2 (Z00AD, Android 5)
I managed to unlock the bootloader with the official Asus app (I have a white splash screen while booting - this means unlocked bootloader right?)
I flashed TWRP via adb (following all instructions and links on the official Lineage pages) and this seems to be OK
When I try to reboot (volume up + power), the phone just reboots in a normal way ...
Then I read this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/asus-zenfone-2-flashing-recovery-mode-t3096596
I tried Hold Power button + Volume up/When the phone is vibrating release power button: phone boots into bootloader, I choose recovery, phone says something like "starting update" and suddenly I got the error message with the "dead android" bot. Luckily I can reboot in a normal way using volume up + power.
Clearly something is wrong with the TWRP install? I couldn't find any satisfying answer so far (being a newbie that is) and I am afraid that I will brick my phone ...
Any suggestions? Many thanks!
edit: phone is not rooted, but that is not required as far as I know

You didn't upgrade your FW base (bootloader) to MM. See the first post of the LinOS thread.
