Hi, did anyone try out the 2 "big custom Kernels" (Blu Spark and ElementalX) for the OP3? Atm I'm on OOS with Blu Spark Kernel and the question came up to my mind if it's actually better or worse than the one from ElementalX.
try ElementalX and you will know the difference yourself ...
Elemental for me

Hi,
I'm running ARHD 7.2.2 on my HOX with the stock kernel included in the ROM and I was wondering what the advantages/disadvantages of running a custom kernel were. I've seen that franco and faux kernels are the most popular, how do these compare with each other and the stock kernel?

Simple answer is to test it yourself and experiment as everyone's usage will not be the same.
Stock, Franco, Faux all are good kernels. Personally stock kernel is the best due to being on a much newer source. But when the newer sources are out expect the custom kernels to be better.

Use the optimized stock kernel that comes with CM 10.1 or try them all until you find one you like.
Most kernels work very well with CM 10.1
Try AK kernel, it's very stable and fast and always updated to the latest. You can flash it in recovery.

I think Fancy kernel is better.
I use Franco Kernel and I'm satisfied with it
Hello,
First, sorry for my bad english, I'm french.
I try to install this kernel in the Cm 10.2/11, but, one time I reboot the tablet, google logo appear, then, blue screen appear.
Do you have a solution? Need CM on my N7 13.
Thank's
Only certain kernels support cm

ElementalX will not work on AOSP or CM roms; installing it will either brick them or cause random reboots.

Actually elemental x will work on aosp based ROMs.
The only kernals you can use on cm are ones that are compatible with them and elemental x doesnt work on cm.

I stand corrected.
You need a kernel that's says CAF compatible. Try glitch kernel, very good. Also I'd suggest reading more before doing things that could potentaly brick your device. Hope you made a backup first.
Suggeste a best kernal pls
Theres only one right now. See my sig
Wrong.
Xceed compatible too.
Two at the moment, blu_spark is the only one I know for sure.
Can someone provide link for Xceed karnel?
AFAIK blu spark is the only one but since there are no sources out for this kernel, so use it at your own risk.
Hi everyone, I write this post because I would to know which is the best kernel for stability/battery life in one plus 3. I tried Elemental X months ago but I would also try Franco kernel which has a good reputation, what would you say?
Tell me about your experience
Thanks
There is no 'best' kernel... I found Render and Xceed to be really good while they are quite underrated.
This thread was here several times. Stop posting same threads over and over again...
And there is no best kernel. You chose a kernel based on your personal preferences, so nobody can recommend you any kernel because nobody knows what you expect from a kernel.
I flashed latest version of Franco kernel and battery life is really improved. I am in OOS 4.1.3.
Resurrection Remix + ElementalX Kernel + AKT 1.4.1 = good configuration, very good autonomy (according to the regalges)
One day i will try it, I just wanted to keep stock ROM, I also uncrypted it so I can use multirom if I would.
