Hello,
is it possible to replace the stock phone App with Google's phone App?
Running on Oxygen 3.2.1 and having TWRP and root installed...

Hello everybody,
I just did a wipe on my Galaxy Nexus device with stock 4.2.1.
Apparently, SuperUser app is installed on my phone as a system app, with no root privileges.
I'm wondering what is the reason to be included? is that something that was built in by google?
Mentioning again: I'm completely stock, after wipe.

Maybe you just grabbed a rom from some third party location? And it's not so stock as it looks like? It's hardly possible that google included this.

I think that the ROM you installed is a stock one but the developer has rooted it and included superuser. So it is not really a stock and official ROM from Google.
Provide the link of the stock ROM you used to help you further or just use any fastboot image to flash the Google factory image
OK, so I have a P605v (locked bootloader) with Android 4.4.2 that is rooted using Towelroot.
Installed SuperSU from the Play Store and it works, but always asks to update binaries. Since it's stock recovery, it can't do so. Anyone know of a way to update them with the stock recovery?

Download the latest version of SuperSU from http://download.chainfire.eu/448/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99r5.zip .
Unzip it on your PC and then look for the superuser.apk file in the common directory. Copy it across to your tablet and then run it.
It should let you update the binaries - just use the standard method. You may need to reboot a couple of times.
Hello, I've recently rooted my phone.
I have an LG D855 on Android 5.0 on software version V21A-EUR-XX
My question is, what is the safest way to install TWRP?
Also, what's bump? Is it related to flashing TWRP?

Check the Q & A thread.
i used this app http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/apk-flash-twrp-autorec-thanks-to-t3081396
it is an .apk install it (take the one for d855) once the app is installed run it and follow the steps.
I suggest you after you used the app go to the playstore and search for twrp, download TWRP Manager by Jmz software and uptade the Twrp version to the last one from the app.
Hi guys,
I recently rooted my desire 820 by unlocking the bootloader and installing twrp then flashing supersu. i have android 5.0.2 and i cant uninstall supersu. i have tried every method possible . i have tried to uninstall it using the app itself by going to full unroot option but everytime it says supersu has stopped working and sometimes it restarts but the app still remains there after the reboot. Just for the record i used windroid toolkit to unlock the bootloader but as i use it to lock the bootloader it says 'this option will lock the bootloader and you will loose the root privileges' then my phone restarts but the supersu app is still there. I also tried to manually delete the su file in 'bin' and 'xbin' folder then deleting the app using es file explorer. Nothing seems to work. So can it get uninstall it somehow if flash stock recovery? If yes then can anyone please provide the stock recovery for HTC DESIRE 820 DUAL SIM ANDROID 5.0.2 . There is a stock recovery provided here but it is for android version 4.4.4
I've a rooted phone and I'd like to update a system app (calendar). I already have the apk of the newer version but how can proceed to install it replacing the old version ?
