Need help in unrooting. - Desire 820 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I recently rooted my desire 820 by unlocking the bootloader and installing twrp then flashing supersu. i have android 5.0.2 and i cant uninstall supersu. i have tried every method possible . i have tried to uninstall it using the app itself by going to full unroot option but everytime it says supersu has stopped working and sometimes it restarts but the app still remains there after the reboot. Just for the record i used windroid toolkit to unlock the bootloader but as i use it to lock the bootloader it says 'this option will lock the bootloader and you will loose the root privileges' then my phone restarts but the supersu app is still there. I also tried to manually delete the su file in 'bin' and 'xbin' folder then deleting the app using es file explorer. Nothing seems to work. So can it get uninstall it somehow if flash stock recovery? If yes then can anyone please provide the stock recovery for HTC DESIRE 820 DUAL SIM ANDROID 5.0.2 . There is a stock recovery provided here but it is for android version 4.4.4

I've never used a toolkit on my HTC devices, so I can't speak to their effectiveness. Perhaps they need an update to work with Lollipop.
I recommend using TWRP recovery (just because it's the one I used and I know it worked for me. Can't speak to CWM or Philz)
Flash the SuperSU update zip found here: http://download.chainfire.eu/695/SuperSU/

marshmallow twrp and root help

just installed 6.0 on my lg g3 d855 32gb
trying to root and install a custom recovery but not able to. used the method with kingroot then installing supersu from twrp but then when booted supersu keeps asking to update binary and then freezes. am using the v30b-global-com version
any straight forward way to do it? without kingroot
i dunno if that's weird, but i can't even enter the fastboot to install the recovery using fastboot command

1) Fastboot doesnt work on LG G3 because it bootloader isnt natively unlocked
2) Please do not install TWRP on your current firmware. You will brick your phone
If you need TWRP you must downgrade to KitKat before you can install it.
I did install twrp and it booted normally. Using kingroot and a method i found on the forum. But the problem was with supersu that it kept asking to update binary which never happened. Anyways thanks for the reply. Phone not with me anymore

How to root HTC one m8 running official marshmallow?

Hi!
So my HTC was rooted and all fun, but I couldn't install the OTA update due to TWRP recovery. So I unrooted and uninstalled TWRP. And then I received the official OTA update from HTC. Now my phones runs marshmallow and its smooth AF! I'm happy with it, but my QUESTION IS, How to root it again? I did try to root it and looked up for Youtube videos to figure it out, but I failed! Can someone help?
P.S: I couldn't find and videos on Youtube for rooting HTC one M8 on marshmallow.
1) Flash TWRP.
2) Flash SuperSU 2.67 BETA. It will flash superuser in systemless mode by patching the boot image. No other method as of now if you want root in system.
PS : AND REMEMBER, if TWRP shows you with an option to flash SuperSU after you're done flashing and/or later on whenever accessing your recovery, PRESS "DO NOT INSTALL" as flashing it using this option will mess up your system. Root will be present by flashing 2.67, it's just that TWRP isn't able to detect it.
Patched boot image is for "traditional" root (which modifies the system). The new "systemless" root method does not install the patched boot image.

G3 has twrp but not rooted??

Hi all, there are a few apps that I want to install on my phone but requires the phone to be rooted. I tried to root it but the phone itself tells me that it is rooted.
However, when I install apps that requires phone to be "rooted" indicates that the phone hasn't been rooted.
How do i re root this phone? it seems that its not working when I use stump or purple drake. Thanks guys.
If you have TWRP, then just flash SuperSu ZIP from here https://download.chainfire.eu/921/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.65-20151226141550.zip

g3 not rooting properly/supersu not updating binary

ok so when i root my g3 using one click root tool it seems to be a success but when i use root checkers they say the device is not rooted and supersu wont update the binaries. i have already tried doing a factory reset and re-root but it did not help. anyone know what i can do? please need help.
Reflash firmware via lgflashtool 2014 retry the process after applying one click root method dont restart cuz if u did u have to reflash rom again for root follow the process to flash twrp make backup 1st then flash supersu or other zips if ur a carrier varient
apparently the issue wasn't with the rooting but with supersu, I installed CM 13 now and just use the root option that comes with it, I also tried installing SuperSU on CM 13 and it just broke it and I has to do a factory reset and re-flash CM 13. not sure why
Super user is built into cm 13 and it wont allow to change root access.
