Not here....
Side note if you say standby: did you activate STAMINA? Then it's a normal behavior depending the percentage you gave STAMINA to get active after Screen off...

Well, stamina is not active... So I have some problems. How can I solve it? I've already made a reset... Should I reinstall the firmware?

Factory reset does the same effect like flashing it new... Dido you get MM over OTA or did you flash it?
I can only imagine you may have flashed a wrong Model-ROM so Baseband etc are not model specific... But ignore my words, I may totally be wrong
I got MM through xperia companion... I did a factory reset using the options in backup.. Is this ok?
Sounds legit... tough I never used companion on any of my xperias...
I,m getting crazy: in two days I have almost finjshed my data.... I did everynthing, even a repair with the xperia companion. Believe me...it's an horrible thing.... Does anyone have a solution?
Are you sure your router isn't faulty? I have MM and no wifi drops
Sent from my E5603 using Tapatalk
I don't have any problems either (other than according to battery management, it takes more battery than I remember). What's the specific model of your phone (E5603, E5606, etc)? You may have already tried but did you check on Wi-Fi advanced settings?
edit: Also, does it works with other networks? Do you remember if you or someone changed something on your router settings recently?
No guys.... Nobady used the router. My tablet xperia z4 doesn t drop... Why does my phone drop? The model number is e5603. My android version is 6.0.
I confirm (E5603). I installed through Xperia Companion and also have problems with wifi.
How can I try to fix the issue? Maybe is there a way to install a firmware using a differnt method such as odin in samsung device?
INstalled update through xperia companion and it works just normally here. May i suggest that you try again?

hi,
I have the Sony arc s LT18a (4.0.4 ,build 4.1.B.0.587) for 2 months and for a while i have very bad battery drain - I lose 50% in 2 hours.
I have already repaired software, factory reset, installed older android, switched to a new battery, brightness low, WiFi off , 3G on.
I have installed battery monitor widget and it show high current (150-400 mA) even on Airplain mode.
I pretty sure that the problem is not the mobile provider cause the drain on airplain mode is almost the same. but i did tried different Sim.
I have checked that the frequencies on LT18 OK for my provider.
I don't know what to do...any ideas?
Bad hardware! If in warranty repair it!

disable 'fast dormancy' and you'll see the huge difference.
just delete the fast.dormancy.apk from system/app.

Hi. I just upgraded my phone and my wife's phone to official T-mobile 4.3. I rooted my phone using No Tripping Flash counter image. Everything works fine until phone looses the signal and after that I need to reboot phone to make calls, if I don't reboot it just ending calls immediately after I dial. My wife is having same issue with her phone. Anybody know how to resolve this issue?

What is your Current Baseband ? Can you try after factory reset ?
I am ok with doing factory reset on my phone since it is rooted and I have Titanium Back up but my wife won't agree to it.
See if after Factory Reset AND without restoring Titanium, are you able to make calls just fine ? If yes we'll find ways for your wife.
EDIT - Try My Backup Pro for your wife in the absence of Root.

It is same IMEI behind battery and in the settings. I think problem is phone loosing the signal and can't automatically find it. Sometimes instead of restarting it I put my phone in airplane mode and take it off so I push it to find signal.

What was the result afterwards ? If it still continues, please raise a Warranty issue with T-Mo.

It doesn't happen to me all the time but when it does it is annoying.
Just to add to this, I am getting this randomly as well, and I am bone stock. I thought it was something to do with my new car since I use Bluetooth all the time now, but every now and then, I go to make a call, and it just ends the call immediately. The only resolution is to reboot the phone.

It probably is related to Bluetooth given the 2 antenna are so close. But it could be the new 4.3 Stock Rom too. After Reboot do you consistently get good signal till you use Bluetooth ?

Nope, phone is perfectly fine otherwise. I decided to see what T-Mobile support would suggest. They first wanted me to try and clear data/cache on just the Dialer app, however those options weren't available, so she took me to stock recovery and performed a cache wipe. Since the problem is sporadic, there is little else to do except to wait and see if the problem returns. They claimed this is a memory problem in the dialer app though, so I am not sure if that was a s.w.a.g. (sophisticated wild ass guess), or if it has been reported enough times for T-Mobile to actually seek out information from Samsung.
Hello,
I recently upgraded to .757 firware (rooted) and today I tried to tether my 3G connection via WiFi as I used to do on JB. The thing is that it doesn't work and after trying, I get a "error" in the settings (see pic attached). Furthermore, I can't turn WiFi on, unless I reboot.
I've already seen some workarounds (like deleting /data/misc/wifi) but it doesn't work for me... it's annoying because otherwise, rom is great.
Anybody ever encountered this issue or knows a quick fix ?
PS: I know there are some troubles with T-Mobile, and I'm not on T-Mobile network, to make it clear
Thanks !

I got it too, flash rom again and everything will be ok
I have been unable to tether using bluetooth. Everything seems to go through but the notification icon does not stay in the status bar, and there is no actual connection.
Tethering via bluetooth with an Xperia Z on 4.3 works just fine.
So I can confirm that something is broken in the tethering function.

Didn't work... I can't figure what's going on, third party apps don't work either, there must be something broken really. I don't understand.
Can somebody please confirm that their tethering works on KK .757 ?

I bought a used Xperia M for my mother.
Everything works great (i update to latest stock sofware) except wifi.
it says I'm connected but wifi keeps droping. When using chrome, it just hangs there and no page loads. And I tried using Fongo (Voip app), I can place a call, but after 10-20 seconds, I can't hear anything, and the other side either.
The wifi icon is always there, but clearly the phone drops the signal.
other phones/computer in the house have no problem on my wifi network.
Any ideas?

It's possible, but I doubt it. The lady that sold it to me didn't strike me as the scamming type. If something is wrong with the phone, she probably didn't know it. And either way, fooled or not, I'm stuck with the phone now...
My mother doesn't use the wifi on the phone, but if she wants to switch to using voip, it would be nice to have the option.
And the first thing I did when I got home was a full wipe with a flash/upgrade of stock firmware using Sony program.
I'll try doing another one just in case.
I read on other forums that people were having these problems, but no one had a fix for it..
Thanks!

Yeah i just did it. I did a repair with complete wipe. It does connect to my wifi but it works only for a couple of minutes. Like i said my mother just uses the phone for calling and texting so it's not that big a deal. But I would have wanted to give her a 100% working phone...
I check around and on the sony forums some people are having the same problem, but no clear fixes.

The wifi band is set to auto, i tried both separately too. Keep wifi awake is set to always. And i tried a combination of all the other settings. The phone is set up just like my phone and my g-f's phone. The reception is excellent on the xperia, it just sort of freezes...
Anyway my mother came to pick up the phone this morning and she didn't mind the wifi not working. If she ever chooses to switch to voip, I'll either try to fix it or change the phone.
I'll try to look around in the mean time if I come across a fix. If I do i'll try it when she comes to visit.
Thanks!
Hi everyone, my moto z2 force suddenly reboots (before reboot wifi and data are on) and after reboot, sometimes multiple reboots, wifi is off and data is on. Sometimes after reboot both are off and cant be turn on until manual reboot.
Also sometimes all of the first party and third party apps that i have start failing. Ive tried to use safemode and same issue random reboots.
Date and time sets themselves to a random value after some reboots
Tried factory reset without cloud backup and same issue.
This started happening after i started using a new oem motorola turbo charger as my daily charger.
Also i dessinfect the device regularly with alcohol (covid and not sure if it has something to do but started to happen almost at the same time)
I have tried both using lenovo smart assistant to rescue the device and using flash all method with the latest build, all of the tries the device behaves the same, both with cloud backup and without.
Any suggestions? can i downgrade? As far as i know the bootloader cant be unlocked xt1789-04 att version

There is a Moto Device Help which appears to not be installed on the AT&T version of the Z2 Force. It comes on the T-Mobile and the Verizon versions so I extracted it and I am attaching it here. I hope this helps in diagnosing any hardware issues you might have.

Hello, thanks everyone for taking the time for answering.
Yesterday i got a new symptom, the phone rebooted and the wifi was off after it.
I turned on the wifi and whenever the icon was gray (connected) the phone rebooted again, this happended several times until i started in safe mode without turning wifi on in normal mode.
In safe mode the phone booted normally with wifi on.
I dont have third party apps ouside from the playstore, before factory restore i used to have Popcorn time and YouTube vanced, but not anymore.
