Hello guys,
I had the watch for only 4 weeks. Last couple of times it didn't want to charge over 84 or 86% anymore. Please share your experience and suggestions.
Best,
it happened one time on my moto 360 I resetted the watch, cleared the android wear app and moto connect app resynced the watch and I let the battery drop down to 10% and I charged it over night and all back to normal again.

My watch with ambiant off, tilt motion off and lowest brightness has great battery life . From off charger 100 % 6am to 9:30pm I end up around 30 to 40% range on my 360 even with madorate notifications and step counter on . Today Im lost on what happened . Left 6am from house 100% , by 11am I get a battery saver on notification on my watch and battery at 15% .Not even 5 minutes later ,watch dies doesn't come back on . I look at my battery log on wear app and nothing is not really draining my battery .I don't have any apps except a calculator wear app on watch that's been on it since I got my watch 5 months ago. Get home and like 2 minutes on the charger ,screen comes on and I'm at 40% on battery . Watch has latest updates . What is the deal ?? I'm gonna factory reset watch and reinstall android wear and moto app soon its fully charged . Hope it works !
I've had the exact thing happen one time with the newest firmware. It occurred the one time I clicked on: settings, bluetooth devices
I think it started scanning for bluetooth devices and never stopped until the battery died.
Yea I reset the watch and reinstalled android wear app .seems better .so for today so good .will see ! Thanks
I read some people got as high as 36 hours if ambient screen was off.
My moto 360 barely last a day. 10-11 hours max.
Anyone know the reason?
Thanks in advance
I do not have an answer, but I can confirm that I am easily getting through a day on one charge. I have had my Moto 360 for a couple weeks now. During the course of the day, I receive frequent emails from three different email accounts and receive frequent texts. I use it to reply to texts. I use it to control music playing on my phone. I also receive frequent Google cards. Yesterday morning, I took it off the charger at 8 a.m. When I put it back on the charger a little after midnight last night, it still had 60 percent.

As of last week, mine no longer lasts all day either. I don't know what has changed, except it seemed to come after the Android Wear app update that enabled Wi-Fi.

yeah, i'm losing ~10% an hour too . . .
not sure why. Ambient off.
Yup my battery used to be great now today it died at 6pm... hurry with the update Motorola!
Until your 360 gets the 5.1 update there is no WiFi communication between phone and watch. However, if you have the Cloud sync enabled in the settings in your Wear app on your phone it could be trying to sync with the 360 and draining its battery?

It's disabled. My battery is somewhat fine if not using the watch, but 2-3 min gaming on it drains like 10-15%.
I have 35-45% left after reaching home from my 9 hour shift.
I am happy with it as I am not using it at home.
I put it to charge on reaching home. Take it from the charger at 100%. Switch off and turn on by morning.
If I don't turn it off by night, the charge will be 85% by morning.
I have also noticed considerable drain lately. It is not every day, but increasing frequency. Cloud sync is off. took it off the charger at 11am w/ 100% and by 530 it was at 2%. Last night I had a timer going for my laundry and it was depleting rapidly too. Its really annoying.
Dear users
I have extreme Problems with my Moto 360 battery. I bought it 4 days ago and already charged it from 0-100% twice (and 2 times from about 20-100). The battery stats in the app are the following with 25% of Charge:
Android Wear 12%
Display 8%
Android-System 6%
my Watch Face 6%
Clock inactive 5%
wearfacematrix 5%
...
I already did a factory reset and tried to use an older Version of Android wear with no success. Ambient mode is off (even if I would love to use it), brightness on 1, turn on on tilt is on, WLAN on automatic.
In other Posts I saw People can use the wear for over 16h (I only use the watch to read the time once every 20 minutes and talk to Google about 5 times a day). Ah and I'm using 5.1.1 and 5.1.1 was installed from factory.
Please help me...
That's unusual. My regular battery usage is about 3-4%/hr. I'd recommend downloading a task manager app to monitor which processes are active on your watch. Also, use one of the default watch faces to see if that makes any difference.
I took mine off charger at 9 pm it is now 2:20pm (next day) and I have 71%.... I would suggest to try running one of the simple faces (stock) you have a couple of apps that look like they are watch face specific running... odd that you have 2 running at the same time if that is what they are. I run watchmaker for my watch faces... I have tried a few others but they seem to have a higher consumption rate.... I don't run wifi on mine though either... the other kind of surprising thing is you don't show any watch idle time, mine is currently 17%
I think this has to do with how the watch comes, I just got mine as well, completely dead, after being on the charger for 2 seconds it said it was at 25% and after draining it and charging it a few times its getting better. I'm going to assume some battery.bin in the filesystem just comes calibrated to whatever engineering device they must test these builds out on and after about a week it should learn your watch an get A LOT better.
Got the Moto 360 as a deal with my Nexus 6 4 days ago but my experience has been nothing short of horrible with the 360. I have tried everything i could find on the internet, tried different Android Wear version, Factory Rest, deleting apps on phones, fresh sync after factory reset etc etc.
As a last resort I placed the 360 in Airplane mode but still the 360 discharges battery continuously within 3 or 4 hours at most.
I don't have any apps installed, just stock with everything turned off but this is still happening.
Is this a defective unit?
Somebody said that it gets better gradually over time but this is just ridiculous. Any help will be appreciated.
regards
See the attachment. No apps just idle, discharging at 20% per hour

Follow that thread. Back to ending the day at around 40% battery
tried all that, unfortunately seems nothing is working.
Hello everyone,
I bought my moto 360 when it first came out from NZ. It was running fine but was out of use for a month or two. Now that I have started using it again, I have noticed that battery doesn't charge even if I put it for charge overnight, it charges to anywhere between 50-70% but doesn't go up from there. System update has been downloaded but cannot install as system asks battery to be charged to 80%.
Any solutions ....??
Thanks everyone...

Same problem here, left it to charge overnight, woke up with 62%. Charging has stopped.
So it stops at 62% for me, drops back to 60% and goes up to 62% over the course of several hours
Mine is doing the same thing. It starts charging until about 55% - 77% and then stops. There is a video from last year of a guy's watch doing the same thing. No updates, no apps draining. It could be the charging coil going bad, checked out Amazon for replacement parts looks like they run about $50 USD for the coil, back, and battery.
