I'm in the process of organising a replacement M9 after my vibrate motor stopped working.

It was once possible to access the RTN menu to determine if the phone is new or refurbished. The article is a few years old and it doesn't seem to work on my old M7 (haven't got the M9 back yet).
So does anyone know of another (current) method to check the refurbished status of the M9 (and M7?)?
