Yes I believe they are trying to port cyanogenmod. But we have a temporary Skin CM for Galaxy Y.

Is there any Cyanogen Mod available for Samsung galaxy Y . Presently I am running on Creed ROM V2.0 . I found the Creed ROM V2.1 very buggy . Creed V2.0 is seriously awsome . But is there any CM available for SGY ?
And another thing is it possible to install some ICS widgets and certain features liek the ICS Music player into the Creed ROM or any other custom ROM ?

seem u had planned to creat CM7 for SGY..i was read your post
He is also working on cm but prioritized the kernel and cwm. Cm' would not function great w/o a good custom kernel

yup...i agree with mushashi...motafaca is still in progress as to make a stable kernel in preparetion to create CM...hope the research would be successful...
there are two more working for CM7 and one for ICS sit back and relax

You are out of topic in this thread buddy but yes, you need to have the temporary cwm to flash Creed's Rom.

Okay so ive done it, kind of.
I ported the Galaxy S III JB to our phone, XS
Im nearly there, but as far as i get is the launcher or the pin entry, and the boot animation just starts again, and it does this over and over.
Any one got any ideas where i went wrong?
Okay so this is as far as ive gotten.
It shows the boot animation, gets as far as pin entry and loops. And as ADB doesnt work till android starts, i cant get any further.
Anyone else who has some time and know how willing to help, here's the ROM

Lol no i wish it was that easy.
Even with no sim, it gets as far as showing the launcher for a split second and restarts.
I was told in one of the porting forums that it is because of framework but like I say I cant debug it as logs only start in android, not at boot

Can you tell me in detail which ROM you have used as base and which ROM you have used for porting?
And further which folders you have deleted, which lib files you have replaced, any changes you have made to the framework??

If anyone didnt know bazooka launcer wich avatar rom is using works fine on locked bl, even without root i guess and can be downloaded from play store even lock screen chages automaticaly witch i never seen on regulare launchers from the store .. Yust for info, i tryred it but its not my taste, i would more like an aokp/ Cm port - hydrid on LBL

Im using FXP201-cm-10-20130103-UNOFFICIAL-nozomi( http://ul.to/f/e16c1u) as a base and cm-1.0b_16_20121221_i9300 (http://avatarrom.com/wp-content/uploads/JellyBean/cm-1.0b_16_20121221_i9300.zip), which is the Samsung Galaxy S 3 JB Rom, from the Avatar ROM
I followed rishabh.raj37s' guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908008) ...
so APP, FONTS, FRAMEWORK and MEDIA are what I moved from port to base,
copied parts from init.d and permissions that needed to be copied from port to base,
Edited the build.prop as the guide says, and the updater script...And copied the Cameradata folder from port to base.
And thats about it

Thanks, I tried this but unfortunately when i do this it doesnt even loop, it just keeps showing the boot animation and goes no further
Give me some days and maybe it will bootup I know guys who can help

Would be awesome If they do get it working, I would love to find out how they did it so that I can learn more about porting, and port other ROMs...I would really love to do it alot more

Very true sir! But apparently the themes for it are alot more "interactive" than a normal theme.
But in the long run I guess it isnt really worth it...but we can still try...like i said vefore if i can just learn how to address bootloops, i will try to port many other roms

try to port from galaxy nexus and not S3 ,, the most you get closer to xperia S hardware the less bug you get !!

i ported 4.7.11 from s plus but some system app (like themes ,mms,xiaomi framework,clokc) getting fc . i try 4.7.18 from s2 but same result

hmm good luck with that, but MIUI its not fast for our device, in S plus they use 400+ mb ram kernels, so that makes rom faster !
But in our ancora with 342 ram kernels, it wouldnt be goodd
I asked Christopher to bring that kernel to our ancroa JB, but no answer , he probably wont do it, but if other people request it too, hey may do it
Whatever you do, İstanblue, best of luck with that, I for one have been eager to see a more recent version of MIUI for the Galaxy Wonder
It's quite an interesting version of Android.
PS: Before I forget, try to post some logcats on the FCs, see if someone experienced passes by to read through them.

Make a Nandroid Backup first Before Doing anything further
Here's Is the Custom Rom I've made,
Flash it using CWM Recovery N Wipe Data/Cache/Dalvik
U can use Xposed Framework On it, Though Using GRAVITY BOX is lil bit tricky n risky, go ahead install gravity box but dont customize heavy n never go to Lockscreen Section

A noob friendly Tut to install xposed framework , Go for it
I'm gonna upload my whole ROM, n its rooted xposed installed with modules (flashable zip) or maybe a CWM backup so people have to just restore or flash it just by downloading the ROM
Just have to make some final changes in the ROM idk when its gonna finish cz I really don't have time, but it will be soon

Make it a flashable zip , would be more easy for noobs . Moreover you can upload just deodexed zip without xposed installed coz that can be used for more wider purpose in future

While you are at it, we can also make a list of modules currently working correctly on this model, ex- sense 5 Toolbox is not working, and apm+ latest experimental version is working after I asked the developer to check as it was not working till previous version, etc.
Also, which ones are actually useful.
This will help in saving time for people who are anyways trying very hard to get many of the apps working on this phone.

Its based on stock ROM ritik, sorry I don't get enough time to do this things
Though I have included Cynogenmod Apks from elephone p8
If u can test it n give me the feedback then it would be a lot helpful to make this rom Lil more stable.

I was thinking that users may get prob to find it.

I take so much time cz I have to do the testings myself, n I once soft bricked my mob during the testing period

I guess so, I have messed with my blocks n now my mob gives weird flashes sometimes yellow flashes when I boot my Mob into recovery
