yea, ics, im studying it since the last month came. and im getting into it. but i must master the javascripts 1st. so it really takes time but better than compiling an SGY ICS would atleast take days. hardware comptibility. the least

1st try booted then black screen. Soft brcked. Trying to see more of its structure

The main problem for the SGY is being its RA Mand its GPU right ? Hope you can come up with an ICS ROM . Really want that .. . Morever I have real doubts on how its performance is going to be . . . as SGY has very limited resources . .

Cyanogen MOD for Galaxy Y

Is there any Cyanogen Mod available for Samsung galaxy Y . Presently I am running on Creed ROM V2.0 . I found the Creed ROM V2.1 very buggy . Creed V2.0 is seriously awsome . But is there any CM available for SGY ?
And another thing is it possible to install some ICS widgets and certain features liek the ICS Music player into the Creed ROM or any other custom ROM ?
Mr.Creed - please let me know if possible .

no ...........he is working on permanent CWM.... am doing all the testing everyday were trying but no success till yet...after CWM the CM

seem u had planned to creat CM7 for SGY..i was read your post

He is also working on cm but prioritized the kernel and cwm. Cm' would not function great w/o a good custom kernel

yup...i agree with mushashi...motafaca is still in progress as to make a stable kernel in preparetion to create CM...hope the research would be successful...

there are two more working for CM7 and one for ICS sit back and relax
ASIAN FIRMWARE: there is a new update, but i cant update bcoz i have the DXLA1 which is a BEta provided by the stupified KIES =="

you can try browsing romfory.com, they claim that they have working ports, i havent tried though

Pls vote for an official CM for sgy.

You are out of topic in this thread buddy but yes, you need to have the temporary cwm to flash Creed's Rom.

Jeez people is this forum need to stop flaming Devs! Not everyones fake. Lets call him that after its proved. We're driving away Devs who would've probably made a ROM for us. So test first, flame em later.

Why is it that all new devs first come to our forum to test things?? . I am not at all trying to scare this dev and make him run away but its just human nature not to believe when there are couple of reasons like these (That guy has only 2 posts, no android phone and he is from symbian OS)

Giving it a test soon. How should it be flashed? Through CMW or stock recovery?

Dude I already ported it before
As taking the base as cm7
It had the same buggs in cm7
So i didnt post it .......
Hope this one might have the same buggs because nobody fixed the present buggs in cm7
If you want to help us . Try to port another cm7 at first before you doing this

I did use the tutorial mentioned above. I'll be getting my Galaxy Y in no time.

About the Rom
- Flash it via CWM
- Base rom do has bugs as mentioned by sgy.creed. Use patches by Mr.Vivek
- LeWa-OS rom is actually ported from HTC Hero. So I think it'll have screen resolution problems

nice..BTW what are the bugs? in your port?

Same bugs mentioned in cm7 section because it is made with the base of cm7 for sgy
We may solve some problems with flashable patch by Vivekananda kalady

im not offending the OP or anything but this looks like your nth-port-post-here thing,
and previous ports we found that nothing worked, and wont boot

No MIUI .....

Wondering why no devs(gio forum) take seriously on MIUI v4. I think would be great if we have at least one ROM of MIUIv4 (stable) for our gio. .. There is few, but it seem like no progress..i believe we have great devs here,so its possible rite?

MIUI V5 isin't such a easy to make it stable.its harder as hell,also we don't even have a stable JB yet so why we are looking for MIUI v4,I think any advance developer can make this possible.

BIG NO!!! This guy ported 2 MIUI ROM from ace thread.i doubt he test the rom before publish it. Last one was the worst.it comes with FC laucher,no keyboard apk. U cant accsess homescreen.even he couldnt answer the questions in that thread. Try ur self n u will know what im talking about . Just forget what comes from this guy.. no offence...

Want to ask the devs, since cyanogenmod will be releasing android l version, our grand will also get the new android right? Or is there any obstacles towards it?

I'm no dev, but i say our developers are smart enough to port it asap

Haha.. he is the root king..android legend . Btw i commented on the root thing after reading his article only.. He addressed the root issue, i merely stated what he noticed.

Pawapit, the man who bought kk to grand is also not sure if we will get lollipop or not coz we don't have kk drivers. Jb drivers were hacked\patched to work on KK.

I don't understand what you say but will we wait the update to nexus to know or when we know we get lollipop or not ?

Cyanogen is already working on CM12.... we'll just need the developers to get their hands on it
