[rom]Real MIUI for i9000 1.3.26 Link removed

I just saw it on a chinese forum,it's the offical MIUI for i9000(test version)
How to flash ?
1.Flash CM7 and make sure it runs well
2.Put the zip on your int-sd
3.Power off and reboot in to CWM 3.0
4.Do a factory reset
5.flash the zip
6.Reboot and enjoy miui.
Bugs:
1.Those bugs in the CM7
2.Ext-sd do not mount
Apps are in Chinese and you can try the English language pack or wait for the great devs to bring you the translated version
No,it's not the PROT of the miui on here......
It's all done by MIUI dev team and of course CM team.
I do not want to see some of you say chinese copy from others.Remember how many US national debt we have!!!
I had the i9000 miui nearly a month ago but i could not upload it because of the rules.
One miui tester broke the rules and uploaded the 1.3.26 version, i just let you guys know.
Link removed(i think the "miui dev team"here have already finished download.)

Anybody tried this?

Edit: don't think it's the same, file size is smaller. Gonna give it a try now.

This is OUR port in a chinese forum I guess...look at the thread...it's talking about XDA and BETA 7 and has the same bugs of ours...

Yes mate i just installed it, rebooting now, let's see! File size is much smaller than ours.
EDIT: Boot animation is from Beta 2, let's see if anything else is different.
It is based on our port, but it's much more cleaner/faster and stable, SD card works, File manager doesn't crash, seems like they've tried to fix a few things.
EDIT2: Phone reboots when you apply a theme in theme manager. They've defo fixed a few things! This is good. We can tweak this package, change the boot anim etc to suit our needs.

Anyway, can we all move this discussion to the original MIUI thread, i'll edit it to include the official port as things are becoming official
Only thing that bothers me is they haven't credited us. We've done most of the legwork already for them.

Isn't it typical for the chinese to copy from other people and claiming they did the magic? But its nice to hear that they are making progress...

If I've not misread, he has uploaded version 26 of the official MIUI, but he is recommending XDA's port for its stability and bug fixes.
In fact he has nothing but praise for the version you guys have made So in short - great work!

Wow, this sounds exciting bro. I left the last MIUI because of some issues but depending on the outcome of this one I might be switching back lol. I just need to know how to set my APN and I might never go back to another rom after installing this one.

China overtook Japan this year to become the second largest economy. I am sure they achieved this with more than just copy and pretend.

Yeah i know they are very nice people to communicate with @MIUI.cn, i meant the official devs don't acknowledge it.

First i'm going to port cm7.1 from gio section to galaxy Y (if I get permission from Phiexz.)
is someone able to unpack a stock rom (a .tar.md5 file)? I need it for porting or at least a full working rom for galaxy y. ANy suggestions?

Dev section! There's a ported CM 7.1 there but its full of bugs. And the stock firmwares are in the Dev section too. Doky's thread. Excited! xP

Yup i dropped my ICS port coz it didnt work. I was trying to make it from source (KANG) but adb didnt work. So I got frustrated and uninstalled my Ubunt along with the source.

I could have tested but my Galaxy Y isnt working. IC circuit shot.
So I'm using Optimus Black for the time being

Galaxy Pocket Duos source is incomplete. I'll try it after a week or so after my broadband's subscription gets renewed.

Bro, Terminal commands are given..... They are under the install section And Btw I will also work to get CM10,1 on sgy when broadcom releases the driver If so thenlets work together

and to answer your question: we need drivers coz the current drivers for our sgy is outdated and cannot run stable cm's Once the drivers arrive wedont need to work that hard to make it possible to get stable ics or jb
that tool is good for beginners like you and me I hope broadcom release the drivers soon so that we could continue to develop and research to make stable ics and jb possible on our y.....

U cant compile if u dont have much knowledge..
Type that command in terminal (ubuntu)
And it'll install the software :sly:
