Flash stock firmware.
When you have rooted your phone after installation have you removed the battery or turned off the phone?

Other stock fw and updates

I ordered a new note 10.1 2014 on ebay from tropical_mobile.
I read on this forum that the product comes from Singapore or Malaysia and it has this stock fw inside P605OLBBMJ9.
Since I'm Italian and out of the box I'd flash the Italian stock fw (P605XXUBMJ9 with ITV csc) do you know if I will receive future Italian OTA/Kies update after this procedure?

Hi, when you go to odin mode, what does it display on the screen....?
Does it say that the status is official with your country code ....?
2nd does it say that your device is modified when u check for updates...?
Should be no problem to receive ota with a stock rom which is flashed via odin

no worries than mate, you will get updates as they come
Hi, I'm interested in this, I bought a Note 2014 p605 from Hong Kong as well but I'd like to flash a Spain or Euro stock rom. Is it necessary to root the device before using Odin? Is there a tutoria/faq somewhere?
mouse100, where did you find the steps to do this?
Cheers.
I found steps from my experience
You don't need root to flash euro rom and your status remains official and Knox will remain 0x0.
Here what you have to do:
1- install samsung kies 3 (to obtain official drivers)
2- Download odin 3.09
3- Go to sammobile website and search for latest European stock rom you like for your sm-p605 and with your preferred CSC
4- When your tablet is power off, turn it on by pressing ON+Vol down
5- Connect your tablet to pc and let it install all drivers automatically
6- Extract the downloaded firmware and you should obtain a tar/md5 file. So click on AP button and load that file. Don't touch others options.
7- Click start and wait until flash is finished.
8- Tablet will reboot and it takes some minutes to be ready.

Make sure that all kies processes are turned off on your computer (task manager) when you are flashing a firmware with odin. It can cause problems.

[Q] Restoring radio on CM11

I have just managed to flash Maclaw's CM11 ROM onto a stock, rooted GT-I8160. Everything works apart from the mobile radio. Under Settings > About Phone > Status it says "Service status: Radio Off" and "Network disconnected". The phone has an IMEI number and a baseband number.
So far I have tried:
Rebooting with charger plugged in.
Building a full charge.
Trying to select a network provider. It just says "Error while searching for network operators."
Is there anything else I should try before just restoring from a backup?

I flashed directly from GB. I thought that might be the problem. Thanks for the idea.
Also, what do you mean by "JB with pit"?

geez..
you can just flash a one part .md5 jb fw file and then cm11. 3 part isnt necessary. if you only have 482mb ram, find and flash the 624mb ram patch(thread in dev forum)
I followed all your instructions and after rebooting CM11 twice, I have radio connectivity back! Thank you very much!

I guess that you cannot resolve the "blue-screen issue" without the QFIL method, which is required if the boot-loader of your device is too old, as it was mine.
I have already briefly reported how I did, but I will try to do it again in a more detailed form.
You need a Windows PC and Qualcomm QPST, read this carefully: https://zukfans.eu/community/threads/howto-flash-a-stock-zui-rom-zuk-z2-z2131-only.104/
You need a ZUI QPST archive above version 3.1 as reccomended by the OP, I used this: ZUI 3.5.389 https://drive.google.com/open?id=1xWGFtcMZhMeOAsmASj4fwJzzbHOZZwdj
I failed to use the method 1: using the command "adb reboot edl" (my device was just shutting-down and never enter into EDL mode as requested by QFIL.
I used successfully the method 2: using Volume+ and Power buttons:
1. disconnect USB cable and turn the phone completely off
2. press volume-up, and keep it pressed until further notice
3. press power button, keep it pressed for about 1/2 a second (yeah, that timing thing...)
4. insert usb cable (both volume-up and power still pressed at this point)
5. wait for short vibration - you should also see the ZUK logo flash on screen for a split second
6. now you can release both power and volume-up, you should already see the USB device coming up on PC
If anything different happens, just disconnect, power-off and start again... Have fun!
When you finish the flashing of the ZUI QPST ROM, you should reboot and set the 4G to extended capabilities, in case you have VoLTE on your area.
Then you need to verify if your boot-loader is still unlocked (as mine was) in case it being locked you must proceed to unlock it again as you did the first time.
Then you have to flash the recovery.img (I used TWRP).
Finally you have to flash the TWRP with Treble support (z2_plus_treble-TWRP-3.2.2_kubersharma_v2.img) and factory_to_vendor.zip (factory2vendor_z2_plus.zip).
If all the above end up correctly, you can proceed to flashing AEX 6.0 official and Gapps*
* Note: I used older version of nano Gapps arm64 android 9 (open_gapps-arm64-9.0-nano-20181009.zip) because the newer release was not allowing to restore my Google backup.
Hope you could get some help with my description!

My baseband is 1.70 And the only thing that was installed on it was zui 2.5 indian, which I then switched to custom customs roms. So I can install a 4.4 kernel rom?

You don't have to take a risk of getting BL locked nethier waste your time flashing Qfil. In order to avoid it, use this guide
