Will project fi work with the Oneplus 3? I'm assuming someone would need to give us a way to install the dialer?
If it did, you would be limited to a T-Mobile connection.
Is that because of the frequencies it covers?

Sorry don't have the tech sheet memorized, but I'm assuming it doesn't support Sprint then.

Your bad but quite sure you have seen a video read a thread or maybe even heard a few people talk about if not Google is your friend.
APN set to h2g2 and you shouldn't have an issue. It won't do auto switching but if you send the CDMA or GSM commands it will switch.
*#*#34866#*#* for T-Mobile
*#*#34777#*#* for sprint
I do not have a OnePlus but I have used my project Fi sim on alot of other devices.
no - but you can use proj fi Data-only sim

Guess not.
Don't think you can even outside of maybe Page Plus.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
You can't because CDMA requires the device to be signed to run on the network. GSM doesn't. You can't run a CDMA Verizon device on Sprint or vice versa for this reason.
Thats not really true, but porting a CDMA Gnex is dumb because you lose LTE.
you can use it on Sprint, but Sprint sucks....

Actually, you can flash it to MetroPCS and Cricket if you wanted to.

Is the sprint version compatible with the Verizon network? With some unlocking or something?
Thanks.

No

Nope.
Um.... can you elaborate on why? From what I saw they are very very similar just the carrier firmware/ is different

The frequencies are different. And Verizon/Sprint won't activate phones of each other's networks anyway even if they were compatible.
So there is no way to change said frequencies? And thank you.

I honestly haven't really looked into it, but as far as I know, the LTE/4G radio is different, but the CDMA radio should be the same. So, if you can find someone at Verizon that would be willing to activate a non-Verizon phone (extremely unlikely I would say), then you should be able to get regular, non-LTE Verizon service on a Sprint device, assuming the firmware was flashed properly. The guys in this thread have made some progress on CDMA devices.
you could, but you wouldn't have 4g. The same way you'd flash a verizon nexus to cricket, you'd flash it to sprint. There are already small mods out there to get a sprint g'nex to operate on verizons bands, so to me, that proves the hardware works. The only thing wierd about the sprint version is its embedded sim. Its worth a shot, but good luck getting anyone to do the leg work for you.
Interesting. I might have a few connections at Verizon Wireless retail stores. A friend of mine, his mother works at one. So I might be able to get her to activate it.
Its not as simple as just activating it. At Verizon, our 4g phones are activated by the sim, not the imei. If the sim is not in Verizon's system, it will give a sim validation error.
Even with 3g phones like the iPhone, if the imei is not in Verizon's system, it will give a device validation error.

Just... buy a Verizon model? Why would you take a Sprint model and gimp yourself to Verizon 3G, dealing with the hassle, when you can very simply and cheaply buy a Verizon one with LTE and absolutely no hassle.
OK people I have fully flashed the Sprint Galaxy Nexus LTE to Page Plus Cellular. Video is below.

Well CDMA workshop won't work on this phone, Samsung Charge, or the Samsung Stratosphere. They don't have Qualcomm chipsets in them. They have via chipsets. CDMA workshop only works on Qualcomm phones.

Hey may you can help me. I have the sprint galaxy nexus and I am trying to go to pageplus however when trying to attain the MSL code I hit a wall. I contacted Sprint who told me the code was deleted from their database do to me canceling my service. I keep getting the blank line when using terminal. I tried logcat, and even pressing in 50 different combinations just hoping to get lucky. If you can help I would appreciate it.
I just want talk and text. I am Rooted and running Stock. I already have my number ported to PP and I have the MIN.

I currently have Page Plus and using a Droid X. It works great, but the Galaxy Nexus would be a signifcant upgrade.
My main question is, can I choose the ROM of my choice after flashing? Or will I be stuck with the setup I have once I have it working with PPC? Thanks and sorry if this is a supid question.
Cricket 4G LTE on a Verizon Galaxy Nexus
I'm wondering if I could get my vzw gnex (unlocked/rooted) onto Cricket's 4G LTE network? Has anyone here heard of this being accomplished?
Been coming here for a year now, you guys are amazingly talented and helpful. Sorry if anything in my post is out of proper etiquette, this is only my second one!
Thanks for any help or ideas, very happy to donate to anyone who can shed some light!
Can you post a how to video to get the Verizon Galaxy nexus working on Page plus? Do I have to do all the steps that the autoprime guide has?

Hi, does anyone know if a galaxy nexus with a bad esn on sprint can be flashed to page plus? I know it can be done with other phones. Is there something special about this phone, where you will need access to your sprint account or something? I am looking into purchasing said phone, and currently have page plus. Thank you.

You may be able to flash this phone to straight talk or page plus but as far as unlocking it and using it as a gsm phone I don't think that will be possible because it only has CDMA radios. If I am wrong some one please correct me.

I was hoping to go to straight talk. I already bought a Sim from them.
How would I flash to straight talk?
Or Verizon prepaid... I have a donor phone for Verizon prepaid but I would prefer ST if possible.
My donor phone is the gusto 2 currently on $50 prepaid plan. I wouldn't mind 1x if that's all that comes wwith that plan. If I use vzw prepaid do I need a Sim? Do I need to flash?
Kinda rude to post a question and then state "I don't want to hear...". Have you tried Google? I recently started looking into going to straight talk and so far all I have found is that the Toro will not work with it. But I have not looked deeply yet. As old as this phone is, you should be able to find what you need by searching. And the development section is the wrong place for this.

From what I have read so far it depends on the phone. But again I haven't gotten far with my search. But you can go on straight talks website and enter in some information from your phone, and it will tell you if you can activate it. I'm thinking about a nexus 5 on straight talk.
