Hi all!
I have purchased HTC 10 in my country (EU, Slovenia) from a provider (no subscription just phone).
I have:
- unlocked it
- S-OFF`ed it
-rooted and flashed Viper ROM
After all that, when I booted my phone I found out, that I still have providers APPs installed...
How can I DE-brand it completley?
Thanks!

Hi,
I recently installed the above version so I could unlock my xda.
I recently moved from Ireland to New Zealand but could not use my xda as a phone as it was locked.
The install and unlock seem to go find but when I go to turn on the phone I it cannot find a signal. I played around with the bandwidth program changing bands think that was the problem but no sucess
any suggestions

I bought the Telstra version and wiped it with the Generic HTC ROM. Works a treat.
Where did you guys buy your Telsta models from?
Thanks

I wonder why they Aussie models are so much more expensive.

Do you have problems with GPS? I was told by the folks at onthegosolutions that the HTC non-Telstra version had GPS problems. I assume they have upgraded thier Telstra models to the latest Telstra ROM with some sort of GPS fix

Yes the unicom version of HTC 816w is sim unlocked
Play store is not available by default but the handset can be rooted & play store can be installed easily
only one issue is that blink feed sources are all in chinese
so the only option is to turn off blink feed for now until someone makes a english patch for blinkfeed source

Hello guys, I bricked my htc desire 816 dual sim mobile international version. Please can anyone help to get me a stock rom international version so that I can bring back my mobile back. I bought just few days ago and become greedy in rooting that phone and in the process, I bricked it. Although, i successfully managed to install the custom recovery, my mobile booting into that custom recovery repeatedly rather than booting into home screen. Please help me.
Thanks in advance.

If you want to add more languages to your system without changing ROMs, you can try and install morelocale2 from the Play Store. However beginning with Android 4.2, the configuration process of that app is hit and miss.
You need to understand, however, that firmware has absolutely nothing to do with system languages. It is truly incredible to me how many people have no clue the difference between firmware and software. People that don't know this fundamental difference should not be hacking their devices.
Is there a way to reverse the firmware anyway? I'm curious S I think it May help my chances getting s off

Hello, I have the HTC One m8d (dual sim) international version. (EU I guess)
I have installed cm14.1 after having cm13, I had a problem with the network signal bars and still do as they go away and I need to restart my device, after googling and looking everywhere looks like the modem crashes and I need to update it, the problem is I looked everywhere and I can't find the modem to flash on my phone using fastboot, can anyone help me please?
thanks in advance.:crying:
the GPS is not working also, it gets position based on network but never accurate over satellite
Dear Mate you are a xda member since Dec 2013 & still put an help thread in developer section, why bro ?

You can't manually flash the modem/radio unless you have s-off.
Better bet, is to see if the dual SIM M8 has an RUU (I don't know if it does, or from a free source).
Hi, just pay $25 for sunshine and s-off (don't think about it)
Update will solve your problems.
LineageOS 14 working great on my dual sim :good:
