D851 Stock Marshmallow Bluetooth Song Data - T-Mobile LG G3

Hi All,
I was wondering if it was just me or everyone is having the same issue. Prior, when my phone was on D85120g and the phone was paired to my car, the song information was being sent and displayed on my car's screen. However, since the Marshmallow upgrade, the song information is not being sent over. I have tried the stock music app, spotify, and Google Play Music. Have you guys experienced this?

It's caused by changes in Bluetooth permissions in marshmallow sadly. Had that issue since I switched to cm13 (it's the same cause)

Thanks for the info @Travisholt92. Just wanted to let you know if that you take the latest nightly from CM13, it works. I just installed CM13 a couple of days back and took the latest nightly. However, I reverted back to stock since I have very poor cell reception at my work and need to rely on wifi calling.

Mobile data issue??

Hello everybody,
my galaxy nexus randomly loses mobile data. This issue is not present with wifi connection but only with mobile data.
The only solution is make a reboot and after that mobile data begins to work again.
I've tried to update radio (now i've got XL1) but the problem persist
I also flashed a new rom ARHD 2.1.3 and for now no problem but i've flashed yesterday, so I'm waiting to see if the problem is solved or not.
I read in the forum that i'm not the only one, any solution about this annoying issue?
thanks

Do you use JuiceDefender?
Same happens here, and I exchanged my phone to see if it would stop. At least it hasn't happened as much. My advice would be to put a toggle on your homescreen for airplane mode. That always remedies it rather quickly and is a workaround until Google gets on it.

I second the Juicedefender guess. That app turns off my data routinely, causing a delay of up to 2-3 minutes waiting for it to re-connect. I had to get rid of it for that reason.

Nope,
i'm thinkg about to send my phone at samsung assistance, but i'm not the only one, i also think that google can fix that with a future update, but for now this problem is terribly annoying
I have similar issues but mine only started showing up since I started using Tasker to turn mobile data off when phone screen is off and turn back on when phone is unlocked.
One way I can get the data to work again is by turning aeroplane mode on then waiting around 5 seconds and then switching aeroplane mode off. That works for me. Another way I usually go about it is to switch my screen off then on again and my Tasker script disables and enables mobile data.

It's a common issue, people say ARHD eliminates the problem, not sure about that since im in love w/ franco and running AOKP milestone 2. Its a software issue, and will hopefully be fixed in the future. It happens irrespective of radios. toggling wifi on and off resets it 90% of the time
Also theres about 50 posts on this so please follow the rules you had to watch when you joined the forum and search next time.

[Q] Bluetooth: Sense Vs. AOSP

My issue here is with the bluetooth connection between my phone and my car stereo.
I have a Kenwood KDC-X995 receiver in my car. When i connect my phone to my stereo with a Sense ROM, my radio sits there displaying "downloading" which it does when it's transferring contacts from the phone to the headunit. This takes up to 20 minutes to complete. Also, during this time, if I make or receive a phone call while it's stuck downloading the whole process gets hung up. The first phone call works, but in order to use it again I have to turn off bluetooth on my phone then turn it back on.
This is an issue with stock 4.3, as well as Viper's ROM 5.0 and InsertCoin 7.x and 8.x.
I've also told the phone NOT to transfer contacts to the headunit and still tries and gets stuck at "Downloading" on my headunit.
When i've tried this with the GPE ROM"s and CyanogenMOD 11, everything works perfectly. Contacts sync to the headunit in a matter of seconds, phone calls work fine, everything does what it should be doing.
I never had a problem with my Galaxy S3 running TouchWhiz or CyanogenMOD, and my iPhone 4S works perfectly as well.
This seems to be an issue with Sense based ROM's and i'm not sure what to do. I don't feel like my headunit is at fault here.
Should mention, my phone connects to my BlueAnt Ribbon and JBL Flip just fine but there is no contact syncing going on with these devices.
Thanks everybody for any info.
I had a different but similar issue, in my 2012 Nissan frontier 4.2.2 sense worked fine, once I upgraded to 4.3 or 4.4 sense, it broke. My problem ended up being the new PBX. I paid for an app called Bluetooth phonebook and it forces the old PBX and then everything worked for me.

Awesome! Thanks. I'll give this a shot.

Try the trial first, it won't dial the right number but if syncing works, buy it

Try different kernels. The BT stack is controlled through the kernel and some of them have issues with certain BT configurations.

Bluetooth issue

I was the kind of guy who want to try some of the new version for this phone...
One issue I saw on each version except the original from bell is ... the bluetooth is not always working propely... not sure if @tdm can see the difference between v20f and cm bluetooth but since i'm back with this one i don't have to fight to have it connected to my car radio!
Anyone else having issue like mine??

Even the stock Gingerbread firmware wouldn't work with bluetooth keyboards (the stock ICS just cops out and has a message pop up that says that the phone is not compatible with bluetooth keyboards!). I found that only Cyanogenmod 9 RC1 and RC2, and Cyanogenmod 10.1.x stable builds work with bluetooth keyboards. Try Cyanogenmod 10.1.3 and see if that fixes the bluetooth problem.

I have also experienced no bluetooth issues with Mokee 02072014 release version. Very reliable, bluetooth works like stock, no BSODs or reboot problems, and best of all its Kit kat.

I should try that version.
HoNo!'s almost-stock V20F and Sphinx 4.1 are the ones I found to have a reliable BT connection to FORD Sync, automatic connection. Everything else I tried I have to manually connect it and sometimes I have to do it 3-4 times to get connected with the exception of Carbon ROM which is pretty much 1 shot and it would be connected. I wouldn't even care for BT if it is not for the cellphone use bylaw in our town.

OP3 bluetooth and Media Nav

HI!
I have tried to find a solution for this issue for a while now. My OP3 is connecting to Media Nav system and then disconnects after 2 seconds. After trying different OOS versions and small modifications - nothing seemed to help.
However, recently I have found solution that RessurectionRemix ROM has fixed this issue. At the moment I do not want to install non OOS roms, because of no DASH support. Does anyone know how to check what was changed in Bluetooth settings/programming from OOS to RessurectionRemis? Maybe I will be able to use files or adjust current files and get Bluetooth working.
I appreciate any advise

I have this exact problem too. Still persists on 3.2.4 as of yesterday . The only difference is this happens in my Cadillac SRX.. connects, then disconnects after two seconds, and won't connect again. I have tried stock, and FreedomOS ROM (based on stock) w/ ElementalX kernel; no change. Did you move to RR for the fix, or did you find a fix for stock ROMs?
I have moved to RR, the only ROM that works now.

Hmm, and Bluetooth works as expected in the car now?
I am now on CE 3.5.1 From Freedom OS. And I have got BT working with my car now. Just 1 bug. U have to toggle BT on the phone once for it to connect.

Thanks! Will check it out! I'm on Freedom OS but not CE yet.
Same issue. OOS3.2.4 bluetooth disconnects after 2 seconds on Renault Media Nav. All other phones (Samsung E7, J7) work fine.
Silly answer, but have you tried to reset media nav ?

has anybody had issues connecting to a car's bluetooth on Nougat 7.1.1 ?

un-pairing and re paring + reset car's Bluetooth - didn't solved it...
I remember that 6.1 had this problem too until monthly security fix it...
Any suggestions to fix this?
Sorry, no suggestions to fix it. Just confirming that I have car BT connectivity issues as well since 7.1.1.
I can connect the device, but the BT connection keeps dropping and coming back every few seconds.
Thanks for confirming this, tried the pixel 7.1 rom back in October and had the same issue, been waiting to hear if they fixed this on the official 5x rom but looks like they haven't, so sticking with 7.0 until they do.
I have no issues connecting, but I am using the PN 7.1.1 rom, not stock.
I'm on PureNexus, too, and had no problems, neither on 7.0 nor 7.1.
Yep here. Problem is with stock rom. Cm and purenexus works just fine. I wrote to google and they were suggesting 1:1 support which I can't use because of my country.

Also having this BT carkit connect issue since 7.1.1 update. It connects/disconnects every few seconds. I am on stock ROM.
Best shot is to wait for google to hopefully fix this, which I highly doubt.
