Originally it would show the charging animation provided with Motorola Connect app when placed on charger, however now it does not show when I place the watch on the charger dock. The charger dock led light does come on and go off correctly. All my apps are up to date. I tried a restart. Any ideas guys? Thanks.

[SOLVED] I just picked up the HD multimedia dock for my Atrix and have been using it in the evenings with my phone and love it! I have noticed that strangely it drains my battery! Much faster if streaming Hulu or something though. Yes, the power supply is attached
Have you experienced this? When I sleep the phone, it will charge it to 100%. Wondering if I have a dud. Wanted to find out if this is "normal" before I try to reach Motorola for warranty.
UPDATE - I failed to mention that I was using one of those wonderful Chinese cells I got on Ebay in the phone. Once I placed my OEM battery into the phone, the discharge appears to have gone away. Updated this post just in case someone searches for this in the future.

did you plug the dock into the wall? It suppose to charge your phone also, not drain it. Double check if you got an A/C adapter with it
Indeed as my question stated, it is plugged into the adaptor and it will charge to 100% once I turn off the screen.
By the lack of folks chiming in, I assume I got a faulty wall wart, so will start the process of figuring out how to exchange the power supply under warranty.
the dock can be kinda funky sometimes when it is plugged in. watch your battery icon to make sure it is charging when it goes into the dock. There are some comments about this on the motorola site. Sometimes I have to unplug the adapter and plug it back in until a couple of times before the charger "kicks in". the mods on that forum suggest plugging directly into the outlet, not a power strip.
It's they're a way to get daydream to work while charging wirelessly?
Mine works fine on the wireless charger as well as when it is plugged in. Does your phone daydream while plugged in?
Yes while plugged in.
Not sure why it wouldnt work on wireless. Maybe its the qi charger? I had a droid maxx with the droid qi charger and when I got the g3 the droid charger wasnt powerful enough. I needed to get a 3 coil wireless charger for it to work. Weird how it works while plugged in but not wireless
I have the D855 model with qi charging and NFC and I am using the official LG WCD100 wireless charging dock. While wireless charging works correctly, I can't get it to display daydream while charing.
I tried to configure it manually by creating a llama action. While it does detect and trigger the daydream app, the "Wireless Charging %" screen comes on and then turns off the display in about 2 seconds. If I wake the phone via knock, I can see the daydream app loaded in the background.
Is it possible to disable this "screen off while wireless charging" behavior?
Hello,
Same here with LG Wireless Charger WCD-100 ... Any fix?

As your phone sits in the cradle with a black screen, just tap it awake. Daydream will enable afterwards.
LG G3 Daydream Wireless Charging Not Working Fixed
I was using a colleagues unbranded wireless QI charging pad to give my 360 a little boost during the day and noticed it only charged up to 75% and the watch got a lot warmer than it normally gets when I use the actual dock. Is there anything specific I need to be concerned about with which wireless pads I use for it? E.g. certain Amp amount etc?
Me too, I was using a Samsung changing pad, my 360 gets warm and stuck in around 75%, with moto's charging dock there's no issue, all connected with same wall charger.
I have a Panasonic, an LG, and a cheap Kogan Qi charger and all three stop charging at around 85% and the watch gets hot. The moto one is fine.
Sounds like Motorola wants to be like Apple and want u to use their stuff only
I purchased a used G3 (Sprint) a couple of weeks ago, and the phone has been functioning fine to date, except for the wireless charging. I purchased two separate QI stickers and wireless charging pads via ebay, and all combinations are having the same effect- the phone will recognize the wireless charging, but immediately power off. If I have the phone off and place it on the wireless charger, it'll boot up the phone and then turn it right back off. I've tried multiple cables, chargers, and it's the same thing every time. I've done some searching online and can't seem to find this problem replicated anywhere else.
The phone charges fine when plugged into a conventional charger. I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software problem- I've yet to do a hard reset on my device to see if that changes anything.
Has anyone seen this happen, or have any insight? Thanks
Bump...anybody?

I am charging over LG wireless charger (WCP-300) and tested on nokia Qi charger (dt-903) with no issue. Tray with different Qi charges. If it do again make hard reset. Tray maybe to replace the back cover to borrow for some one who has same phone and make test. If it does not work send phone to service.
When I set my 360 on the charger, it wont charge. I have to unplug the charger, plug it back in, then it will work. Every day.. every time I put it on, it wont work until I do the steps mentioned previously.
Anyone else?
I'm having the same sort of issues. I haven't tried unplugging the charger. I just put it in place and I'd it doesn't start to charge remove and replace. I tried the Droid Turbo charger wall wart on the and it doesn't work at all.
I have the same issue on occasion...extremely annoying when you don't notice it until you wake up to a dead 360 in the morning! Add that to the massive battery drain since the last Android Wear update and I'm charging twice a day now!
I am having an issue with my charger and it appears the port on the dock is broken and I have only had it for a month... :/
I had that issue a while back with a cheap ebay charger. Not with the moto charger. pretty sure it's defective somehow
