I am moving to mexico soon,
I was wondering if there is a way to unlock my INC to work on any provider in mexico.
I need to know what companies this would work for, and what method i need to use to make this happen.
what cdma carriers are in Mexico and are they able to flash it so you can actually use your phone with all the features. If not, you can't

Here's a list of CDMA bands/carriers in Mexio. I think you'd have to find their ppp settings etc., and manually provision your phone in epst.
http://www.cdg.org/worldwide/index.asp#result
Yes, you can use your DInc. Right now i'm using mine with Iusacell (CDMA carrier for Mexico); i bought in US (from Verizon) but I can use it here at Mexico.
Don't sweat, it'll be stolen soon anyways so if it doesn't... HAHA! Jokes on them!

Yes you can use it with iusacell. You will have to do the configuration.

I think you can find it for cheaper than that if you put more search effort in.
You don't need to gave it GSM unlocked to root.. u can root it either way.

Has anybody been able to get their T-Mobile S3 working on SIMPLE MOBILE's network (3g/4g)? I've rooted my phone, and I can't access it (I can't even delete the T-Mobile APN Setting).
Let me know, I would greatly appreciate the help, and I'm sure other users would benefit from this information also. Thanks.
You need to setup a new apn. Go to simple mobiles web site they have instructions to get you up and running.

questions about S3
hi guys
I am a newbie here and I am loving S3 so far and I would like to get simple mobile service with it.
I have a few questions hope you guys can please help me out:
1. on simple mobile web, they sell S3 but says it's not approval and not support 3G, but I saw someone replied it would work 3g/4g with simple mobile service, can you please let me know so i should get $50/month plan instead of $40/month plan or either way is fine?
2, do I have to get a unlocked S3 in order to work with simple mobile service? or I can just buy it from costco or ebay and just insert a simcard i bought from ebay with simple mobile as well? or it has to be unlocked S3 & special sim card?
hope you guys can help me with these, thank you so much

It will work with 3g or 4g. If u get the 40 dollar plan you will get thr 3g speed. If u get the 40 dollar plan u will get the 4g speed. Everything is listed in black and white on simple site. Any tmobile phone will work with simple mobile without unlocking. Simple Mobile is mvno of Tmobile.

I'm not sure about the atℓt version but if it helps I bought the Korean f240l version which I'm using with my t mobile UK sim without any issues at all

Not sure if there's a difference between Micro and Nano, but E980 takes a Micro SIM-just checked under the battery tray to be sure.

if you go to this website... input your cellular info then the person you are going to sell to cellular info. it will tell you if it's compatible or not... based on your info.. if you S5 is unlocked, he/she is only getting 2/3G only. Give it a try.

Heed the site's results with caution. Well maybe just use it in addition to research. I found many incorrect results. Example Sprint Moto X 2013 (xt1056). Results showed no compatibility with it's gsm/umts against tmo/att. The xt1056 is an awesome buy especially if the ESN is ba, because they are cheap! The device works on 2g/3g//H+ after a quick fix to unlock it with your PC. Takes about 3 minutes to accomplish, however stick out the box it will not work as the site suggests.
My brother in law connected his Verizon s4 with simply mobile and he gets fast 4g
The ~35% price difference between US ans UK purchases of Nexus 5X had me thinking about finding a way to get a Nexus 5X from US.
My concern is, will I have any issues with the device, if I use it in a european country (I live in Greece)? For instance 4G not working or other connectivity issues.
What should I be aware of before making that move?
TIA
Greece uses LTE bands 3 and 7, and UMTS band 1.
The US version of the 5X has these so you would be OK in Greece.

Should be the same! I think most of the European countrys use band 1,3,7 and 20
You can see the bands for italy on wiki (I´m not allowed to post links yet so im gonna describe where)
search google for "lte frequency bands italy" and use the link List of LTE networks in europe.
Greetings
You guys have to consider warranty as well as exchanges. Might be cheaper, but in the long run could be more expensive. Don't you guys have 2 year warranties?

2 years here in Italy.
If you don't care about the warranty then I day go for it if the spectrum is there. You won't have a warranty buying an out of market one.

It's a risk for sure, but the price difference I think justifies it. My concern now is whether service centers for LG here in Greece, will service US devices or they'll respond that they have no spare parts for the US model.
That's only if nothing goes wrong. I believe if you look at LG Nexus 5 section you might be able to find your answer if the do cross warranty. Something tells me they won't, because it doesn't work the other way around. From what I have seen people who bought international versions here had to send it to where the device was intended for. Sometimes the importer might give a limited warranty or some sort of warranty plan you can purchase.
