So, I walked into 2 Verizon stores over the last two days. I wanted to use one of my upgrades to go from my Rezound to the Nexus. I spoke to two different reps and both told me they were not a fan of the phone. Design wise its nice and ICS is cool, but they said there are some problems with the reception and they're seeing more exchanges than they'd like.
I have no problems with my phone. I like it, but I love the larger screen and that's its lighter.
Do any of you wish you waited a bit before buying this phone (because Verizon already pushed this phone back so far) to see if an update cleared any of the issues you guys are having? All phones have their bugs, but I hate that the bootloader is locked and I can't go custom crazy like I wanted to.
Bootloader is very easily unlocked and you can do any mods you want.

One thing I've learned from reading many mobile phone forums, the Vz sales people often know less than the informed reader. I went thru 4 Bionics and after having issues even after the OTA I packed up all my stuff and returned it for the Nexus.
I don't wish I waited. I love the idea of owning a Google feature phone knowing I'll always have the latest updates and they'll continue to provide updates for a long time coming.
The bootloader is super easy to unlock on this phone and it's equally simple to root. I never rooted my Bionic b/c I ways waiting to see if I ever got a stable phone before I monkeyed with it. The Nexus I rooted after 5 days. I think this phone is going to receive a lot of developer attention because it's so easy to work on. I don't think the radio is as strong as what Moto uses, but I've never had any reception issues.

Im surprised they didnt try to get you to buy the iPhone, like most ATT and VZW sheeps do.
They (and the people returning the phones), apparently do not know that the signal bug is a bug and will be fixed soon.

So by "fixed soon" you mean the GNex is going to show you more bars for the same signal it currently gets? In my area, that just means I'll show some signal and not have any data network. I've owned several VZW phones and have never had dropped calls at my house like with the GNex. My advice - the GNex is the best phone on the market *if you get signal with it* end of story. If you don't (like me), it's just an expensive paperweight with a pretty screen and "faster updates." BFD if I can't make or receive calls with it out of my home. So anyway, my actual advice is to try the GNex first. If you get signal where you live/work/play, by all means enjoy an awesome phone. If not, return it for something with a better antenna.
Unless Samsung personally delivers a migrant worker to my house to install a newer, better antenna in my device, I don't think any software fix is going to help me (and yes, I've flashed the newest radios to no avail).
Sucks, and I don't want to get rid of it but I think I'm out of options.

I wouldn't put too much faith in the store employees. Most are not that informed.
It's a good phone, certain aspects may not be as good but the pluses outweigh the negatives.

I had a "temp" rezound for a week. Loved the phone. In fact I recommended it to a few "semi-techie" (non flashing) co-workers. We're IT guys and service hotels. We climb ladders and run cables. So a heavy-duty phone is nice. The Rezound felt like a heavy duty phone that the guys like. Signal and battery was good.
For me, I prefer the Nexus. I have the extended battery which doesn't add much but every little bit helps on android phones. Both last about the same time with battery life. The Rezound was my temp phone, so I really wasn't interested in setting it up. Just used it barely for work calls. The Nexus, I can't put down. Surfing, emails, games, customization, etc. Both last about 15+ hours with a few hours at night surfing XDA. Pretty impressed.
Signal (just going by bars) was "better" with the Rezound. We know now that Verizon beefs up their signal bars ala iPhone style. Verizon phones typically show 3-4 bars where the Nexus will show 0-1. Both still have the same -db levels thus both getting the same service, but the Nexus is showing TRUE signals bars. Verizon is supposedly working on a patch to increase the number of bars per -db. It's a visual issue. The latest Verizon radio (not public yet) fixes lots of the 3G/4G hand-offs and works much better. Battery life has also greatly improved with the, currently unreleased, 4.0.3 + New Radio/Baseband.
I do disable LTE because I get 2-4mb 3G in my area, which is plenty for syncing emails and facebook type stuff. I don't need a 60+Mbps LTE cell connection all day.
After some pretty heavy usage today at work (SMS, surfing, games , emails, xda), from 8am-2pm I have 75% battery left on the Nexus. 25% in 6 hours = 24 hours battery life
I wouldn't listen to anything a rep says. As far as reception, did a test from my device and posted it on my blog. There is nothing wrong with the reception on the phone. If your device does have a legitimate issue, you need to exchange it.

My GNex consistenly sits 10-20 db lower than my D2 sitting next to each other on the counter. Admittedly I live in an "outlier" area as far as Verizon's network goes, but if my D2 can manage an average of 80 db, why can my Nexus only muster between 100 and 110 most of the time? I've never seen it go below 93 at my house, where I've seen my D2 get as low as 65 dB. Again, new radios don't help for me. To me it just seems like the Samsung antenna is not as sensitive as in the motorola, so to say there are "no reception issues" simply because you may not experience them is patently false. I've been to three VZW stores now and all three of them said swapping out for a new Nexus is doable, but will not fix the issue because of Samsung's crappy antennas. At least two of the people I spoke with were Nexus owners, one owns a Razr, for whatever that's worth.

phone store reps and apple 'geniuses' are derps. they are just about as knowledgeable about technical stuff as you and i are about cthulu. ive had a genius tell me that my ipod would have difficulty connecting to n-networks if i was an lte area... its an ipod... it doesnt give a **** about lte. similarly verizon reps have told me that the droid incredible 1 and 2 have the same hardware with a different case.
most people on xda are actually highly knowledgeable and i would trust opinions out here over any vzw derp.
At my local store the Nexus is all but hidden in the stock room. It's on display but in the group of old phones across the room from the iphones and RAZR. I asked the guy and he admitted to not knowing much about the phone but that they are being pumped by management to push the razr and that xyboard tablet. It's obvious verizon corporate would rather not push unlocked phones but imo carried the nexus to snag the root community.

That's funny. At my local vzw store they don't keep a nexus out on the display. The sign and mount for it are out, but you have to go to the service desk and stand in front of them after being blessed with the opportunity to hold it briefly. All other available models are out in multiple locations for customers to play with.

I went from the TBolt -> Rezound -> Nexus so hopefully I can offer some insight ;-)
TBolt reception wasn't an issue for me in general. At work the cafeteria is in the basement of our building and I always saw 4G with an occasional drop to 3g. The Nexus occasionally see's signal, but I still prefer the Nexus and having a Google experience device.
Will it be fixed? I hope so.
Could it be software related? Potentially, as much as people want to argue we just don't know for sure. The Nexus S 4G was plagued with performance issues when it was released and they were fixed it with a software update. (note that it wasn't a reception issue)
Some phones have better antenna's than others, that's the simple truth. I've seen excellent reception at times and crappy receptions at other times.
The Rezound I had was a good phone, but I felt the need to tinker with it to get rid of bloatware, tweak performance, etc...I don't feel that need on the Nexus. I have pros and cons for each phone but in the end there are intangibles about the Nexus that I enjoy more. FYI, my second Rezound had great battery life but in all honesty it matches my Nexus. I've hit 12-18 hours every day this week, and it's been a normal work week for me. There's no WiFi for me to connect to from 6:30am until 6:00pm, I'm on 4g the entire time and streaming music for 1-2 hours a day. I don't had a ton of screen on time at the end of the day 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
If you stick with your Rezound you'll have ICS in a few months more than likely, and it does have many of the cool features already built in like the screenshot capability. I hope you are ok with S-On because you can't assume that it will ever be unlocked. Odds are that eventually it will, but until it happens you have to determine your level of satisfaction with it as the phone stands now.

Asking for your local VZW store's reps' opinions is like asking a Genius at an Apple store, I wouldn't trust their "expertise" about much more than flipping burgers

They might not know everything, but they should have a grasp on what phones are getting returned/exchanged, which probably eats at their commision.
The lady that helped me with a tbolt accessory tonight had the nexus and liked it. Told her I couldn't wait and got the rezound, and she said that was a good phone too.
I agree with others that verizon has its own agenda and is pushing moto products over superior htc and samsung devices...

How does this explain most people seeing a 20db difference from the nexus (or charge) and any other 4g device? Seems to me, the signal bar indicator isn't necessarily the problem.
I know on my rezound, I will show no bars of 4g and still have a connection (usually around -100). With 4 bars I'm usually -75 or so.

I currently have a nexus and love the phone, hate the reception. I can't get signal where my droidx could. I pray they can fix it before 1/15 or I will have to return it.
The rezound only displays 3G signal not 4G, try switching to cdma and you see that the DBs remain the same. Not sure why that is but I have spent a lot of time considering this as a alternate phone and there is now way to tell what the DB level is of 4G from the status menu.
With light use today. I'm at 61% at 11pm off a charge from 9am. 9am-11pm.
That's awesome. With light use my Rezound would still be about dead at 11-midnight.
Light use = several (4-5) quick phone calls. Texting. Push Gmail/exchange. Twitter/Facebook. Wordfued. XDA.
4.0.3 CM9 Lang w/ latest LTE radio/baseband.
They can always pump more power to the radio antenna to get better signal but at the loss of battery life.

Poor Quality Control Verizon LTE GNex on 3 Issues & Severe Variations among devices
First of all, if your first CDMA Verizon galaxy nexus worked fine from day one; good for you! I am writing this entire post because I want more Galaxy Nexus owners in the future to experience the same thing...saying "Mine is perfect!"
I definitely can agree with how amazing this phone is...it's just that I had to go through many of them to find the One and with 4 months of misery. The difference between the good and the bad devices are light and day....It is amazing how some of us have an awesome Galaxy Nexus and some of us have horrible Galaxy Nexus....after paying same amount of money.
During the past 4 months, I have gone through 2 New nexus (first one I bought, second one new replacement from the store after going through SIM card replacements and factory resets) and 2 factory refurbished nexus after I literally called every week at 611 to call both technical & customer representative (tier 2 & 3) due to :
(1) One-way-microphone cut off issue even when Data is turned off, our voice will start turning into a choppy, static robotic voice to the other party as soon as 5 seconds into a call on 10-50% of phone calls via bluetooth / speakerphone / regular phone earpiece.

(2) 4G LTE dropping voice/data every 5-10mins especially when you transmit large amount of data (e.g. youtube videos or google music cloud storage) deeming this phone unusable unless you turn off 4G entirely even in -75dBm full signal zone stationary in San Francisco, CA as well as anywhere else.

But some that I personally seen have been so poorly quality controlled that these panels shouldn't even have been used to see the light outside the factory.)
For the first 2 months when I talked to Verizon Wireless customer/technical service & samsung technical support (Samsung only says, they never heard about this issue and will say you have a bad antenna and they will replace it for you when you send the unit in for 3-4 weeks) they literally told me they are not aware of this issue and/or aware but it is a software issue which the update will resolve very soon. (The supposed update was first promised to come by end of Jan, then end of Feb, then end of March, then they started to admit that it is entirely upto Samsung and they have no control over this issue and at least some admit that there's technical bulletin written on this issue and this is a know issue.)
I know not all products are perfect. But I wish the Verizon Wireless was a little bit more up-front about these major defect and made official announcements that they are aware and is working on it (I say major because these issues are not like "Oh, my phone speaker is weak. or This phone is laggy time to time." but more like, I can't use this phone as a phone nor as a 4G LTE device.)
The bottom line is that there are so many variations among the nexus device that it's almost torturous to go through the "Bad Batches" if you were not lucky enough to find one that works within the first / second device. I almost expect 5-10% defected device from the production line in all electronics manufacturing process...But this is just ridiculous. We shouldn't try to defend VZW or Samsung because if we do, the next nexus will still come with poor quality control and let these phones out of the factory to the users hand. Even if it did happen, I want VZW to be more upfront about it then just caring for the massive amount of bad batches on an individual bases.
if you have any suggestions on how we users can do about preventing these from happening or at least minimize it, please share it with us.
My final wish is that One-Way-Microphone cut off issue is resolved in a timely fashion now...Because I really want to use this phone as a phone...

Not these specific issues, but issues where folks question quality control. I have seen them going all the way back to the Droid 1 and the battery doors falling off.
Of the issues you have mentioned, I have seen the third. My wife's phone has a washed out screen compared to mine. I am on my second device, but only because Best Buy is full of retards and insisted upon replacing my phone when the sim card was bad.
I don't get the robotic voice. I don't get the choppiness. Issues I have seen, but have either subsided or disappeared completely:
1. Caller cannot be heard after some time into a call. They can hear me, but I cannot hear them at all. The line goes silent. This hasn't happened again in over three months.
2. Screeching when answering a call. This one still happens, but is very rare. More often I hear my ringtone lagging into the initial call pickup. I think that is likely a software or radio firmware issue.
3. Calls lost. This was due to my wife hanging up with her cheek. Chalk it up to poor design for those with hearing aides and big touchscreens.
4. 4G drops. Improved with 4.0.4, but still bad. Cause: I live on a fringe 4G area. In good 4G areas, I never drop. Verizon has been slowly expanding the area, so it is less common I drop now, or if I do, I transition to 3G quickly.

I believe you have devices that are actually equal or better than the one I currently own (the one decided to settle with).
Again, I am glad you didn't have to see many of the issues!
I can assure you that at least the devices that we have now, are great
But I know many are not as well.
I think a lot of our issues stem from the early bird syndrome:
1. Still 1st gen LTE.
2. 1st gen 720p samoled screen.
3. 1st to receive ICS.
That is a whole lot of 1st gen stuff right there and we are getting a lot of worms

As a person who jumped in the boat on android with Droid Eris though...
Above all, the phone should work as a phone though
ICS and LTE and AMOLED is awesome when we actually have a device that does it well!
If not? it is so difficult to go through the motion of getting a replacement device actually, depending on who you get to talk to when you call 611
This device, despite its shortcomings has caused me to stop looking at other devices for quite some time. I will not be buying another device until Jellybean is released to devices.
To me, ICS is 6 months old. I am ready for something new By the time ICS becomes a real player in the overall scheme of Android, we will be on Jellybean. I just can't bring myself to look at other devices even if they are shipping with ICS knowing that.
I got mine (Verizon) on release day and my only issue was low external speaker volume but I have "equalizer" installed and the phone is perfect except....
There is one flaw that I didn't have from the factory, and that's the faded/discolored lower portion where the action bar is. When I look at movies with a lot of dark/black backgrounds when the screen goes into full screen I can still see where it would be, it's lighter.
I'm wondering if it can be returned under warranty for that??? Anyone???

Please don't exchange your device. You seemed to have one of the more flawless devices. Even if you decide to get a return, it will be impossible to get a refund. And the exchange you will get which are all like new refurbished phones, will have whole lot of problems that you are not seeing with your current device
Personally, my experience has been flawless. I have nothing to complain about. I definitely won't be buying another phone until the next Nexus, at least....
Nothing to report here. Bought mine at a Verizon store in ... February I think.

Well add me to the list of people who have the 4G LTE issues. My wife and I both got Gaxay Nexus phones from Amazon wireless and they both have the LTE radio drop out problem. It's terrible.
i just called Amazon and they are sending two brand new phones out.
LTE will drop if you are in a fringe area.

Since you have not experienced this yourself, that will give you a great insight to what we face and/or faced with these faulty devices.
In a stationary position next to the San Francisco Downtown LTE tower,
the drop still happens every 3 minutes along with voice.
Damn.

As long as we have devices that can hold on to this LTE signal, 4G LTE is truly awesome..
I am consistently getting 25 mbps / 15 mbps (down / upload) and about 32-35mbps down 15 mbps sometimes.
I am finally loving the GNex experience man, my friend.
what a night and day difference. My life was miserable when my other GNexus couldn't hold on to that signal.. and verizon kept telling me the update will magically solve this issue.
Apparently, I feel it's the hardware issue in the first place.

Is the working device revision 10?
The reason I ask is a friend of mine started researching the differences between rev 9 and rev 10 devices and found out that the LTE radios (internal hardware) are different.

My previous devices were faulty they were rev 9, rev 10. Manufactured in 11/12, 11/11.
I can surely confirm both rev 9 and 10 had problems.
My working device is rev 9 I believe. Let me check and let you know if its rev 10.
I am using it to tether to use internet right now

Samsung isn't very good with choosing radio tech.
Having owned the HTC One X since launch date in Thailand I have been to say the least unhappy with it. The main problems, are appalling call quality (sound), poor radio signal (WiFi frequently drops and 3G / HSDPA fails to kick in), terrible UK dictionary, quirky keyboard, horrendous battery life (6 - 7 hours on a good day). There is more but....
Anyway last night it slipped off the sofa on to the floor, and hey broken screen, all the HTC hype claims this is as good as indestructible. I've seen man drop tests and in washing machine, cars driving over it etc. and it coming out unscathed.

Whatever phone you've had, it doesn't sound like the HTC One X to me. Either that, or you've had a dodgy copy. Nothing but praise over here! That said - I won't be throwing my phone under a car any time soon...
I got mine on release day in thailand also.
Flawless device with a few software glitches but that's sense for you.
What carrier? I'm on one2go (AIS) and the service is great. Dtac and true not so much*

These are my favorite posts. One person, based on their singular experiences, declares to the world that based on those experiences, anyone without the same issues or with a different opinion is obviously wrong. Nice.
While your opinion is certainly valid and you have a right to it, that makes it no more meaningful than anyone else's.
There were tons of issues posts when I ordered mine last Thursday. I've had it for a week now and couldn't be happier (although battery life still concerns me).

I've had quite the opposite experience. I'm coming from an iPhone 4S and I still can't believe how rock solid this thing is. I've never used an unlocked device on AT&T before and it was good to go out of the box. I haven't put it in the washing machine yet though.

Exactly.
He didn't report any build quality issues, just WiFi and reception which can be network dependant, especially since 3G was only introduced 10 months ago in Thailand.
I've lived in high rise buildings in Bangkok that have had really poor and sometimes no reception because of the tight packed nature of the city and the outer provinces of thailand like Phuket have had 3G only 6 months. Hell, my reception in my house now is one bar out of the five.
It's the network, not the phone. I go into town and its full.
People moan about phones being faulty but most often its the network that isn't up to pace, especially in a semi third world country.
Great phone, you're just another expat that's used to the comforts of your homeland and moan when things aren't up to what you're a custom to.
All seemed normal until you dropped it.
Fix it and talk to whomever your service provider is or change network.
Numbers can be moved between networks now.

Hmm... HTC brand (or "internet marketing") are so successful, that even sharing an awful use experience becomes a sin. If anyone says any devices/roms/kernels/etc. are perfect, I'd say it's all hypocrap.
I just got my one x this morning and I'm loving it. My screen had a yellowish tint to it but it either went away with use or I got used to it. Either way its a non issue for me. I also have no connection issues on att in the USA and have no build quality issues.

Just to let fellow one x users that are on 3uk and have low/no signal at home you may qualify for a free "home signal" box. It's a femtocell that plugs into your ADSL router and transmits a 3g signal throughout your house (like Vodafone sure signal)
You have to ring 3 and complain about your indoor reception after a lot of pushing you should get a home signal box sent out for free
I got one as my house's walls are made of thick stone and I got very poor signal inside
Try your luck as with full signal battery life improves and we know that our shiny new one x is far from the best with regards to signal or battery life

I have one. I had to fight really hard to get it though.
It works fantastic. 4-5 bars around the whole house (town house).
It is made by NEC and is tiny....much smaller than the Vodafone ones.
Simple, small, and just simply works!! It still feels a bit wrong that you are using your own broadband connection to make up for a network's failure to cover your home properly....but Three is the preferred geeky network because of its truly unlimited, no fair usage, and fast data capability
Also signal is worse with the 1.28 update from Three....
It is for me and a few others anyway....

For me it improved actually. I found I would get 0 or 1 bars (with 0 could still make calls) on the top floor, and occasionally lose signal altogether. This would be worse than any other phone I have had on Three. But after 1.28, it never drops out, and is normally 1-2 bars on the top floor. This is not just about bars, I could see by the actual signal decibel levels that it had improved. Interesting it has gone the other way for others.
With home signal, I have seen -59dB right near it!
No mine keeps going to no signal and I sometimes have to force it into airplane mode and then back out of it to try and reconnect.
Sometimes without even moving the phone and pressing the power button to see whats happening I just get the no signal message. Very annoying..... I have my Sony Xperia Play with me on Three too and that does not have the same problems which is 10-20 cms away from the HTC One X.... 1.26 was definitely better for me. Not sure if I should do a factory reset/wipe cache and see if that improves it?
Edit: My Sony Xperia Play is showing signal strength -113dBm and the HTC One X showing -111dBm but disconnects itself without me even moving it whilst the Sony Xperia Play seems to keep hold of the network signal.... Which is what the HTC One X was doing for me on 1.26 but now loses signal quicker in 1.28.....
It's definitely a nice little bit of kit. I'm not bothered about using my bb to make up for the poor signal because as has been said, 3 is definitely the network of choice for mobile data. The procudure seems to be as follows:
Call three on 333 and choose option 3. (to report a problem using the network)
Tell them that you are very happy with three and really don't want to leave as they have the best network everywhere for you apart from inside your house.
Don't try to bs them and say you don't even have a signal outside if you do. They will know! Simply tell them due to the construction of your house (in my case very thick stone walls) the signal does not get through
They will then monitor your signal at home and they wil ask you for a place you get good signal (work? College? Etc) for several days.
You will then get a call from second line network support and they will run through all the details. They may offer you a reduction on your contract or option to leave early. This is a test in my opinion to weed out the "scammers". Tel them you have no intention of leaving and you would really like a hone signal box
At this point delivery was arranged and all was sorted
Can I just say I hear people complaining about the "indian" call centre and to me it borders on racism. I have had far better service and found the people to be very polite and helpful at all times. And often with a better command of the English language than many UK call centre workers
Note though, if you have less than 6 months on your contract or are sim only or payg you are not eligible for the free home signal although there are rumours three are looking to roll this out in the future with a £100 approx price tag

I think Three's Indian call centre is one of the best ones. I have had some really good experiences there because they think outside the box and try to help, rather than following scripts. The handling of my Home Signal box required an escalation which was extremely well handled, and the guy I was dealing with, owned the issue until I was sorted, calling me exactly when he promised etc.
It is nothing to do with being racist. Most Indian call centres are very poor quality, not because of the race/culture/country etc...but simply because they don't hire the right people, or don't train them to the right level, and they become script followers. So you get stupid conversations like "My phone line is dead and my broadband is not working", followed by "Have you reset the home hub?".
BT is an example of a very poor quality call centre based in India.
I've been trying to get one of these for about 2 weeks - no luck so far.

Signal improved for me too when on the 1.28 update on Three.
Where I previously drove to work and had no signal/dropped call, im getting a signal and just sitting in the house can see the RX levels are much improved, by about 12 dbm

Phoned 333 complained about low reception indoors. Network team investigated and then said that there was nothing they could do as I had not had my contract long enough.
I may try again in a few weeks.

If the contract is brand new and was an "Internet" purchase, there is a cooling off/distance selling period plus they will sometimes wait to make sure the direct debit is working. Therefore it could be 1 month before a brand new Three customer can request this.

Ok, so the ongoing "on my third replacement" discussions baffle me. Personal experience is nothing but good - bought VZW GNex at launch, upgraded wife's Fascinate a few months ago to a GNex (only 1 sort of valid issue, but not worth a return), and still loving the device. [Side note - not loving Verizon's delay in rolling out JB]
Popular issues that makes folks say this phone is crap:
1. My signal is weak. Welll...check your local network, and try a signal in the open air. Problems inside your home or at work? It's called a building folks, and those wall thingies? Yeah, they tend to block radiowaves with all of that electric, water pipes, and insulation running through them. I had both Nexi side by side recently in the open air, and indeed hardware version 10 had a 6dB worse signal...until I set down my version 9 GNex, and moving the v.10 device 1 inch to the right suddenly shot the signal to a BETTER dB reading than the v.09. AIRWAVES - they move, and phones sitting side by side may have a different dB value simply because of AIRWAVES.
2. I can't hold a 4G signal. Check the threads and the Google issue trackers - it's regional, which implies that it's Verizon's issue, not the phone's.
3. Phone randomly reboots. Valid issue, but software related that was corrected with 4.0.4.
4. Screen has a purple tint. Somewhat valid (only complaint about wife's GNex), however appears software driven as increasing brightness to maximum cures the issue.
5. "I'm suddenly having [name the issue] problems. Oh by the way, I just flashed a custom ROM, didn't follow any directions on the XDA threads, and really didn't know what the heck I was doing." That's not a phone problem, that's a YOU problem.
5 examples, none actually related to bad hardware. The GNex is the best device I've ever owned and is a reliable performer. What many should do is lower their expectations - the Nexus is not the "perfect solution", but a Google Experience Device that gives the user the experience that Google intended without a bunch of manufacturer skins and carrier bloat ware. For those 2 reasons, the Galaxy Nexus is spectacular.

Phones are massed produced. There are bound to be some bad eggs. No device is 100% perfect. I get the frustration as its a pricey piece of equipment, but this is the harsh reality of things. I've had this phone for a week and I absolutely love it. Hell, my Nexus S was a bad egg and I'm glad I'm not using it anymore. And I have also noticed a lot of these network issues only seem to crop up with the CDMA versions.
#4 seems to be the fault of amoled screens. Had it on the 1st gen sgs at low brightness levels too.

? Never saw it nor do i see it now on my epic 4G. But yeah they have actually eliminated it in the new one in the gs3. We just happen to get poor quality control by Samsung..

I've narrowed my 4g signal issues to a specific city in my area that has problems with all the carriers but T-Mobile funny enough
Also never had any of the other issues with my GNex

i got 99 problems but my Gnex aint one.
Besides my provided terrible reception at my home my nexus is almost perfect, only complaint is it creaks around the camera area(back panel don't appear to be completely secure).

Only problem I've had is a couple weeks after purchase it wouldn't take a charge, icon and everything would show up bit no power. Sent it off and it came back works great they had to replace the microusb port according to the work order. Others have had this problem also. Crap happens and it was fixed promptly under warranty so I'm satisfied.

Anyway, it is when my scrambled eggs start talking to me I have a problem. The other day they yelled at me for adding to much pepper on them. The waitress agreed with the eggs. I told her she should seek professional help if she though it was normal for my eggs to talk to me. :silly:
