Hello all
Does anyone know the activity/class paths to launch the various bluetooth screens (e.g. bluetooth dialler, bluetooth contacts, bluetooth music etc).
I tried com.android.bluetooth/com.android.bluetooth.opp.BluetoothOppLaunchActivity - but that didn't get me anywhere...
Thanks

To add to my own thread, the launch for the default bluetooth dialler screen is actually com.microntek.bluetooth/com.microntek.bluetooth.BlueToothActivity.
Anyone have any idea what the right class/activity is to go straight to the Bluetooth contacts list screen?

I've tried mounting my Google music with GMusicFS, and yeah, that works, but I'm looking to use the actual Google Music app. Every other music app I have sends metadata to my car headunit, but Google music only seems to send the time info (track length, where you are in the track, etc.). No artist, no song name, nothing. I've been digging into this a bit and have found other phones that work with it, so I'm thinking it may be a LGOG thing? Any thoughts on this?
I think it's definitely a device implementation. I have a HTC One, and a Nexus 4. The HTC One is the only one that sends metadata over bluetooth to my car's stereo. That data does include the artist and the song name btw.
I just got myself a Jawbone ERA, works pretty well, but i;d love it to open google now or voice search via the button, or with some command. Is there a way to enable this on the XS? thanks1
There is an app called Bluetooth Launch that may help you out

I have that installed but it seems to do nothing when set to voice search activity

I would just set it to the Google search activity not voice search also double check that you have Bluetooth bypass checked in your settings under security. Google search"now" should give you the same commands and more than voice search I believe

Did you get this working? I've
1.) Installed the "bluetooth launch" app
2.) Disabled the voice dialer
3.) set bluetooth launch to: a) com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.voicesearchactivity b) com.goog...googlesearch c) com.go...searchactivity
And in each case, I get:
a screen asking if I want to use bluetooth launch or google search (I know that I can permanently set this to search, but won't do so until everything else works consistently)
If I select "google search" I get a screen that says "Say call follow by a name or a number" Although this works fairly well, its not what I'm looking for. I want to be able to activate google now to navigate, play songs, and yes, to dial people.
The "bluetooth launch" app seems like the right app for the job, but "google now" shows up nowhere (that I can find) on it's list of possible actions. We really shouldn't need apps at all. Google now should be on by default, or at least (easily) setup to interact with bluetooth.
I never got anywhere with it in afraid, Google now didn't even seem to listen over bluetooth which is weird

No way to let this function work.
say call follow by name or a number

Use Titanium Backup to freeze Voice Dialer (com.android.voicedialer) and set Bluetooth Launcher to launch com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.voivesearchactivity. Set Google Now to use Bluetooth Input. This works for me, my Bluetooth headset launches straight into Google Now Voice Search.
when my S3 is in stock, connecting to my Mazda via BT. I can see all my song title, battery info displayed on car stereo.
after I flashed AOKP, BT connection to my car is no problem, but I cannot see those anymore. all I see is "Samsung Galaxy S3"
is there any app or setting change I can do to get the info display back?
Also, Google acct suppose back up all the apps i installed before, and will restore it after reinstall a new rom.
during the initialization stage, it did prompt me if I want to restore all apps. I skip that step, though later on I'll restore them
Later one, I tried the setting many times, it won't restore any apps, but I do see all my old apps listed under Play Store/My Apps.
after I install old app manually, I thought google acct will at least sync app data, it doesn't work.
all the password, saved calendar, setting, recorded voice chat, game progress and trophies are not there anymore?
do you know how to fix it?
Thank
Did you ever figure out this problem? I don't necessarily want to go back to touchwiz but this is a deal breaker for me. Pandora still displays on my in dash but nothing from the basic Bluetooth.
Hi all,
I'm trying to understand if this is REALLY happening...
It would appear that BMW is blocking audio from my maps apps (google maps, waze, etc). I can connect my Samsung Note 4 to my BMW, play music over bluetooth, receive calls over bluetooth, but if I turn on google maps, audio turn by turn will NOT play back.
Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Is there a trick to get this working?
Thanks,
RR
Hi all...
I've been searching for a solution, but I haven't been able to find one.
Whenever I try to configure the "OK Google" voice command, the app launches the trainer, but it doesn't matter what I do, it doesn't "listen" so I'm unable to configure it.
Seems like if the mic was disabled when recording my voice.
I've tried to set Google Search as automatic in the permissions, but can't find it either.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards.
