Internal Storage not mounting, External is mounting as Internal - Micromax Canvas A1

I am unable to access Internal Storage. Yes, I have seen posts that Android One doesn't have Internal Storage for storing media. However, I was on CM13 nightlies from December, and there I was able to see internal storage. Once I moved to CM13 SNAPSHOT-2, I didn't saw any Internal Storage. I tried falshing SNAPSHOT-1, Stock multiple times, but no luck. Currently my sd card is mounted as *sdcard0* (/storage/571E-6003). And Internal Storage in not mounted at all.
While accessing it from TWRP, mounting Internal storage is available. It is of approx 2 GB. I am able access Internal and External on my Windows PC from TWRP. I formatted it and added files to flash CM13. All files are there in /data/media/0. However after booting I don't see this storage mounted. CM13 SNAPSHOT-2 apps (music, camera, file manager etc) crashes if booted without sd-card. Is this the expected behavior?
Is everything is fine with the device? Or Something is suspicious?

[Q] SD Card and Phone Storage

Hello again everyone,
Today while looking at settings-->"SD and Phone Storage", Astro File manager and talking with a friend thats using a capivate phone i was wonderning about the phones internal storage and its relation to the SD card.
Is the internal Phone storage the same as the SD card except obvously you cant upgrade or remove the phone storage?
If a ROM upgrade or different ROM install is preformed will i loose the files on the Internal Phone storage?
Thanks
NO, you will not loose your files on your internal storage by flashing a ROM. What might happen is the ROM doesn't yet support internal storage (most do now). Then you would not be able to access or use the internal storage even though the files are there. Like others have said make sure you read the channel logs and known issues log to see if the rom does support the internal storage. I hope this helps.
Great!
Thanks

Can a microsd card formatted as internal storage be accessed outside the phone?

Hi
I had a microsd card formatted as internal storage in my LG G4 running CM 14, unfortunately I had to reflash stock rom due to issues I ran into upgrading CM 14. The sd card is now not recognized without being formatted (in PC or Phone), there is a lot of data that I had in there that I would rather not loose.
I am currently running a windows recovery tool called DiskDigger on it which is scanning for known file types, but is there a way I can mount this sd card?
Thanks
No, you can't
And since an external SD adopted ad internal is supposed to be encrypted I suppose that "normal" disk recovery utilities will be useless.
Sorry

Formatted sd card as internal storage - now i can't update cyanogenmod!

I installed CM 14.1 on my S3. It was working great, then to save memory I formatted my SD card as internal memory. Now everything's a mess. I can't update CM to the latest nightly release (can't access the zip file from clockworkmod).
Everything else is a mess too. When I tried reverting back to portable storage, I couldn't find the Android/obb directory for my games in the internal storage. So none of my games would work. Now I'm back to SD as internal storage. I wish I never did that. How simple life was before then.

Issues moving certain apps to External SD

I have a LG G3 running stock M 6.0
I'm trying to increase my 16GB flash size or at least move my big apps to my external SD.
I did OK with Spotify and some others, but few others (like some games) are not moving their data to my external sd.
I have problems with those apps detecting my Internal Storage as my external SD card due to the fact that the Android mounts the internal storage in
/sdcard/
linked to some other folder
/storage/emulated/0
while my real external SD card is actually mounted on
/storage/7FB0-1DEE/
What on the earth is this thing calling my internal storage, sdcard, and my external sdcard to some strange mounted folder with a weird code that of course my apps have no idea wth is that...
Any ideas how to workaround that? Any guidelines will be very much appreciate it.

PD. I don't want to use any App2SD or FolderMount rooted 3rd parties to create logical links/shortcuts and "pretent" or make thing the app the files are on the internal storage, when they are on the external sd. That thing works OK. I rooted my stock FW and tested it that way, but I dont want my phone to have root access.
PD2. I installed RR582-Nougat711 to test this Ext SD adoption (which is not available on G3 Stock M 6.0). It sort of worked OK but I lost my ext sdcard when connecting it to my PC. I'm not willing to make my external sd part of the internal storage anymore. That think is awkward, encrypting my card and losing portability to MTP transfer.

External micro SD card: formatting as internal or portable.

Hi,
Recently I installed LineageOS 14.1 (unofficial build lineage-14.1-20171029-1955-d10f-UNOFFICIAL.zip). My phone is the Pentagram Monster X5 Pro, which has internal storage of 789MB (visible as portable) and quite low system space (~400MB) for applications.
When I configured the storage I got an option to format it as:
a) internal
When I formatted as internal my app space increased. On one of the screens it was told that I can copy the content on that storage by going to Settings > Storage. When I went there I could not see the internal storage, so no way to copy the content to the sd card formatted as internal storage. Also from the camera I cannot select this storage as it is not selectable.
Result: Big space for application, but very small space for media (as it still uses the internal sdcard of 798MB).
Is this a bug in the LineageOS?
b) portable
So I formatted as portable media hoping that I can move the apps to the external sd card. This can be done, but not all the apps will allow me to move to the sd card and not all the data can be moved. It still leaves some part in the internal system storage, which shrinks the available space to the point that updates of the applications cannot be done due to the lack of space.
Result: Big space for media, but out of space for apps updates.
So I was thinking to use the Link2SD app, where they suggested partitioning the external SD card into 2 primary partitions (1’st with FAT32, 2’nd with Ext3). I did that using AParted application, but after that LineageOS refused to use such media displaying that both cards (partitions) are corrupted and it offered to format them. After formatting the whole sd card became FAT32 and the second partition was gone.
Is there a way to partition and format the external SD card in some way so it will be accepted by LineageOS?
Regards,
Zaxon
P.S. I had some screenshots, but I cannot post links yet.
