Useless Mod

I was trying to hunt down black housing but no where to be found.
( my wife bought me the "white" model )
After a week of searching...
I figure... I will do some "useless" and "brainless" mod instead.
Doesn't it looks more "rugged"?

Only thing i see are metal look of screws.

Sorry.. forgot to mention on first post.
Yes, I just replaced the black screws w/ stainless one.
I thought, if moto intented to have the screws showing, might as well, let it shine!

It looks beautifull with steel screws. Simple but nice mod...

I am not sure if it will look good on black.
But simple t-5 screw driver can remove it.
Remember do it one at the time.
Screw measure 1/16" size and 3/16" length.
p.s. you can simply "sand-paper" the original screw and it will appear to be bare steel. ( just in case, you want to turn in for service, you might want to buy a new set)

Had a similar stuff for my iPhone 4 however it does scratch back of the Phone if u put cards or stuff off n on .

solution: place skin or some form of protection on back of phone

I would love to have something like this for the Nexus 5. Also check out the Mod-3 radius for the iPhone.

Replacement parts?

So uh, my speaker mesh is damaged, for some reason, it got bent at the right side. I doubt it seals the speaker now (in fact, I can easily peel it off).
Anyone got any experience with a site that sells these parts? And will replacing it manually keep the device waterproof?

i only know witrigs.com sell the speaker mesh, but don't know how to replace.

BTW, I've been poking at this online for a while, and it seems to be specific to dust only and not waterproofing. I'm obviously not interested in testing that

Nexus lettering peels off when skin is peeled off?

Hey people, so I bought this awesome skin from printavenue. It looks classy though I'm a little confused about one thing.
The sticker lettering that runs inside the nexus engraving on the back of the phone. Will it peel off when I peel off the skin? This skin doesn't have cutouts for the lettering.

No it won't. The only time I've heard about the letters coming off is due to the constant heat from the wireless charger. But otherwise the adhesive holds pretty well.

The back of the mobile

Is there a protecting layer on the back of the mobile removable like the one in on the front ? And if so , how can i remove it ?

Mine didn't come with one on, the power of sight should be enough to see if it does or not.

Always you can replace your plastic back cover with Glass one

Usually there is NO protector on the back side! At least not for me and many others.

As the back is plastic you'll probably need to replace the whole back.

Then those scratshs are from the mobile phone itself ?
