Is there a protecting layer on the back of the mobile removable like the one in on the front ? And if so , how can i remove it ?

Mine didn't come with one on, the power of sight should be enough to see if it does or not.
Always you can replace your plastic back cover with Glass one

Usually there is NO protector on the back side! At least not for me and many others.

As the back is plastic you'll probably need to replace the whole back.
Then those scratshs are from the mobile phone itself ?

I'm from the UK. I'm looking a metal style case like those available for the ipod touch. Something that will clasp together to cover the front and back.
The ipod ones are a type of steel/metal.
Is there anything available for the S3?

My G1 is closing in on four years and still looks brand new. My SII is closing in on 1 year and has 3 cracks in the bezel. This phone has been in a hard D30 case from the time it was purchased. It is cosmetic but I am disappointed.
Mines is suffering from the same thing. Going to try to get it replaced through warranty

I heard the KNOX security features make the device water proof, just like iOS7 does.

Had a similar stuff for my iPhone 4 however it does scratch back of the Phone if u put cards or stuff off n on .

solution: place skin or some form of protection on back of phone
I would love to have something like this for the Nexus 5. Also check out the Mod-3 radius for the iPhone.
I'm using my 5x very carefully since 1 week or so. No scratches, no damage on body or screen at all. I just noticed when i was cleaning the lens, they are some scratches on autofocus laser cover (or whatever this piece). I don't want to believe that...

Is there anything we can do about this?
I don't think so, I just put a small piece of plastic to protect it, doesn't affect taking pictures. Sucks that it gets scratched easily.
