So I Bricked my Note 4 a while back and from what i've been reading on the forum is that I need a UnBrick IMage to install to an SD card and may bring it back to life.
It was booting into recovery and USB mode a few times when I was trying to flash stock F/W.
The reason for trying to flash was that it was very buggy, Freeze and lock up a lot.
So I flashed with Odin a few different times to no avail. Most every time it would fail right away, nothing worked.
Anyhow I finally got it to flash successfully and now it doesn't respond, won't go into recovery, won't power on, nothing.
When plugged into PC I Get the Bulk_Qs something or another.
Since I now have noticed that someone has finally successfully rooted the VZW note 4, Iwas hoping there might be a way to get an unbrick image or something.
Any Help would be much appreciated!
Forget about a "unbrick image" or whatever that is. The only way to unbrick Samsung devices is with Samsung Kies. You will need your serial number which is only located on the retail box your phone came in. For some strange reason Samsung decided not to put the serial number on the Note 4 sticker underneath the battery.
Samsung Smart Switch will work as well.

Step 1: Download and install Samsung Smart Switch from here http://www.samsung.com/us/smart-switch/assets/downloads/Smart Switch PC_setup.exe
Step 2: Start the application and hit the "more" tab at the top
Step 3: Hit the "Device initialization" tab
Step 4: Enter your model number exactly like this "SM-N910V" the actual letters must be capitalized.
Step 5: Enter your serial number (Found on your box or purchase reciept) Verizon may also have this information.
Step 6: Just follow the onscreen prompts and put your device into download mode and connect to PC.
Process may take 30 minutes or more depending on your Internet connection.

Many will tell you to download Odin and yada yada yada. The process above will put your device back to factory state. With stock everything. No need to download tars, zips, or any of that other crap you are thinking about. This will wipe your device completely and put you on the latest 5.1.1 firmware.
Samsung Kies will also do this same process. Which can be found here http://www.samsung.com/in/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/

On a non-bricked phone, is there a way to determine this from the phone? I didn't see it listed in any of the "About Phone" areas.

You'll need an unbrick image. I'll make you one tomorrow. QHSUSB_BULK means an issue with GPT/MBR on eMMC. Rest assured, a MicroSD with the unbrick image should fix your issue.

I too am curious about this "unbrick image"
I have a Galaxy Mega that enters download mode but fails every attempt to flash anything. Once powered on it displays a download mode error with yellow triangle. Recovery mode not working as well. For me, that's a "brick"

!!Update!!
ryanbg sent me the unbrick image through PM. I used wind32diskimager to put the image on SD card, popped it in my note 4.
(The phone had been setting on my dresser for 6 weeks or so dead). after putting the sd card in I remembered reading that the battery needed to be at least 10% so I plugged the usb cable into my pc And BAM! it powered right into USB mode.
So then I wasn't sure if I needed to flash with Odin or anything. Anyway I plugged it into the wall charger and pressed the power button and the phone rebooted and come right on like normal boot. So I went to bed and let it charge over night.
Got up this morning opened it and set up my Google account and everything was running like normal. So I powered the phone down.
Now it is doing the same freaking thing, No Power, no lights, no vibration.
The only thing I can get it to do is while holding the power and Volume down key, plug into pc and pops up QHSUSB_BULK.
I'm so frustrated with this POS! What am I doing Wrong?:crying:

Usb drivers should install the moment you plug your phone in to the computer for the first time.

I've been told that Odin is supposed to have a yellow bar when I connect my phone? I've attempted everything and I can't get it to recognize it. it says 0:[COM4] in a teal box
I'm going through the same thing. I've download the driver from samsung, restarted my computer but my computer still doesn't recognize the phone.
says "usb is not recognized" I also have this phone rooted with the serenity note 2 rom inside from a previous guy who rooted it for me. Not sure if that's why
but just wanted to give as much info as possible.

I'm not sure why it comes up as teal, but that is indicating it does have connection. I got that same thing with mine and it flashed successfully.
It doesn't have to be a certain color. If it shows ID:COM with a number next to it its working.

First, try a different USB port. Second, after installing the drivers go to Settings on your phone and turn off USB Debugging and then plug in your phone. It should start to pop up little message boxes on the screen indicating the installation of the driver software.
After it says "installation completed successfully" turn on USB Debugging again and then plug it in and let it install again until it says the same confirmation.
Everything should work now.

It is best to install Kies seeing as how the driver software comes from it.
I personally just download an .exe file of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Drivers and installed those so I didn't have to use Kies.

Mine's doing it too man. Installed the app. Phone is rooted but stock recovery. Let it do its unlock thing and said yes to disable LGE security. Then tried to reboot using the volume and home keys to get to recovery and it gave a "Secure booting failed. Cause: Device Unlocked so boot success!!" message. Then LG logo again then AT&T animation and that's as far as it gets. No recovery menu, no normal boot. Just AT&T.
You get yours figured out yet? We gonna have to LGNPST back to stock?

Are you sure you were putting it into download mode? You take out the battery. Then put battery back in the phone. THen I believe you hold the volume down key and plug the phone into the computer. Then LGNPST should recognize the phone after you change the COM port to I believe 41 or 42
Edit: You hold BOTH volume keys while plugging the phone into the computer. It needs to be completely off when you do this.
Edit 2: Here's the guide : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2302660
Switch it under device manager to COM port 41. Now flash tools should recognize it.
I'm honestly bummed that I'm now going to have to re-setup everything again. I just had to flash my phone 2 weeks ago to get rid of 2nd Init recovery to install the value pack. Now I get to do it again, then run the update, then re-root, and put my 200+ apps back on, lol. FML. I guess this just isn't the phone the tinker with. Never had any of these issues on my S1, S2, S3, HTC One, One X, Note, etc. Oh well.

Hey do you remember what version of freegee you installed? I think somehow you might have gotten version 1.0.6 instead of 1.1.0. Hi XDA
i didn't want to make it a long thread but i have to , bare with me here :
first i followed that topic on XDA : http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-update-to-lollipop-root-bumpd-twrp-t3048845
i tried to install twrp with imageprep but after rebooting it says secure booting error or something like that
i also tried this after that but with the same error https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2we1YDc5JGU
but always the mobile was rebooting and opened like nothing happened
so i searched the internet for a solution i tried this one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YZ0i6aFsfM
but i guess the file attached weren't compatible so it ends up with an error before doing anything so there was no option except this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/help-secure-boot-error-trying-to-boot-t3054977
and here comes the misery , cuz i just got my phone and after the step while you write the commands in the android terminal emulator
and BOOM everything went black
NO BOOT , NO RECOVERY , NO DOWNLOAD MODE , absolutely NOTHING :crying: i freaked out a lot , but after searching for 3 days i've found this xda thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/unbrick-lg-g3-qhsusbbulk-qualcomm-9008-t3072091
sadly i'm now on LGE AndroidNet USB port (com 11)
and what i'm getting from this thread that i've to short circuit two pins in my LG G3 Motherboard so i can switch LGE AndriodNet USB Port to Qualcomm 9008
Before anything else i want to make sure that i'm on the right track so just want to approve these steps :
1- open the phone
2- to make the device read as "Qualcomm 9008" not as "LGE AndriodNet USB Modem" i have to :
a- short cut the pins in the photo you provided "without the battery" for 3 minutes
b- connect the phone with the USB cable in the computer "without the battery"
c- my PC will detect the device as "Qualcomm"
3- after that i'm good to use your LG G3 unbrick method
are these steps right ?
just need to know when to plug in my battery and when i connect the phone with the cable , the pins must be connected or i can just connect the pins for 3 minutes and then remove the connection between them ?
Please anyone answers me with the exact steps or give me a short video on how to do it alone because i'm still rookie at these stuff
thanks xda members :fingers-crossed:

If you have asked for help in the threads you have linked, without receiving a response, you can try quoting someone that may know or use @ before their user name like @sd_shadow
This is a very technical and likely very few people have even attempted it, so it may be awhile before the right people log in to XDA and see your post.
This thread will be moved to G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
I too am having issues with my LG G3 trying this method but the thread linked has been closed.

here are the drivers http://www.androidbrick.com/?wpdmdl=3173 both 32 bit and 64 bit but remember that you have to turn off driver signing if using a 64 bit OS.
I'm back to the same thing that I had before just the lg logo and it keeps rebooting.

here you go.

I have been up and down all the sites and recovery methods.
ISSUE:
In an attempt to root my Zenfone 2 (2.19.40.22 Lollipop) the tool I was using seemed to get stuck looking for my device. This was after installing a fastboot, or an attempt I believe. After a minute or so I noticed the phone screen was constantly showing the USB Logo.
I can turn on my phone and use it no problem. HOWEVER, I cannot POWER + VOL UP, to enter the bootloader. It just goes back to that USB Logo with the White Bar under it. And I have to power off and ON my phone again to get back to normal operation.
As you can imagine this makes it rather difficult to flash anything or use the ADB Tools whatsoever. Is there anything I can do to get that back, or am I doomed with a phone that can never be rooted?
[The tool that started this whole issue was the TWRPRecovery-Install]
Twrp tool only installs twrp recovery which you need an unlocked boot loader to install, so it should have never been used, can you use adb from the phone in normal operation? Can you get into recovery at all? Sometimes you can boot to recovery from adb shell when phone is in normal boot. Most of the solutions I can think of requires root but if you figure out how to get to recovery you can sideload a full update file to restore everything

And I am not sure if it will work now, but there is a one click root tool for this phone you could try it, but if you have an unusable bootloader it may not work, let me do some research for other options, may not find anything but we'll see

Thanks for the info. I clearly followed the wrong guide. I did try the One Click Tool but again it goes straight to the USB logo. Its odd, if it was broken or deleted your imagine there would be a way to fix or reinstall it.

That is generally considered bricked... Only ASUS can fix for now....
Hello so ive downloaded everything i need to flash pie firmware on this ebay (sprint) Lg G7 that was flashed to ULM 2018 firmware like many others before me.
I seem to be running into a problem with the instructions and i just cant figure it out.
I have Downloaded and installed Lg up dual
G710ULM20e_00_NAO_US_OP_1010.kdz
aswell as the lg mobile drivers
The problem is when following the instructions there is a step where after you plug your phone in, start lg up, it selects your phone, you then load the KDZ into the program.. and then everyone says to...
"turn your phone off and plug it in while holding down on the volume button.."
so at some points i must have to unplug my phone to do this right? well when i unplug it the phone goes away on the lg up program and does not come back when plugged in when holding down volume to load into boot.
so i guess what am i suppose to do there is a step missing i guess i cant figure it out.

Try holding volume up. Down loads fastboot for me. Up loads download mode. Have the phone off and hold down volume up while you plug it into the phone.
Do you have USB debugging turned on?
