i bought desire eye last week ..... this phone run with android 4.4.4 phone model is OPFH100...... there is no software update option in setting - inside the about option .... I found software update option inside the htc guide app . When i want to check for update it's always stuck in checking screen.... nothing happend then........ Any one know what's wrong with my phone How to update my phone manually . Please Help me....... :crying:

here is the situation i'm in:
i tried to upgrade my HTC Touch Dual with an HTC Touch official ROM ,i prosed with the operation but it did not complete for an error then my phone was stuck on the three colors Screen after that I've reseted the phone ( hard reset ) by pressing the call ,end call ,power and reset buttons all together and here...i realized that i made a disaster because that my phone is not starting and make no response on the screen and it's totally black and when i connect it to the PC ,the indicator light led torn's red!!! and the PC dose not see it i tried to hard reset it again it didn't work.
Please help me ....

I'm confused. HTC Touch Dual and HTC Touch are two different devices so obviously it won't work... unless you mean you tried to upgrade your Touch Dual with a Touch Dual ROM.
I have a HTC Touch not the Touch Dual, but try putting your phone in the tri-color mode by pressing Power+Camera+Reset. Then plug your phone in and try upgrading again with the correct ROM. Your PC will not see the phone, but the ROM Update Utility should.
actually... i meant what i wrote ... i tried to upgrade an HTC Touch Dual with an HTC Touch ROM and that's what happened ... Now i did what toled me to do (pressing Power+Camera+Reset) and I've got the tri-color screen then i started the upgrade Utility but it did not see the phone then i disconnected the phone and soft restarted it by the styles and got the same old situation ( black screen and red led on connection) and the phone is not entering the tri-color mode using the same method u toled me to use and worked last time (pressing Power+Camera+Reset)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What should i do ...
please help me coz no one to ask near me and we have no HTC center here in Iraq and it look's like that i'm the only one who carry an HTC phone in the hole country!!!

thankfully managed to get back to the tri-color screen it seem's that i had a problem with USB cable ,any way ...i started the ROM upgrade utility that i downloaded from the HTC official web site that named (RUU_Nike_HTC_WWE_2.09.405.1_Radio_NikeMR_1.65.28.25_signed_Ship) at the first time i had a connection error 260 then i disconnected the phone then reconnected it the PC saw the phone and the upgrade utility did too and started to upgrade the ROM but when it reached 1% i had this error (ERROR [294] INVALID VENDER ID ) with an "Exit" button !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's some kind of a progress .. right..but what's wrong ?? Q/ is the ROM ?? A/ I downloaded it from the official web site and it's for the HTC Touch Dual...then what????
Please do not let me down ... my hops are only on ur experiences.

A couple of questions:
1. Is your phone unlocked?
2. The official ROM you downloaded, is it from your carrier?
3. Who is your carrier?
I'm afraid I'm at my limits. If the ROM you downloaded is officially from your carrier and it failed during installation, you could try the following:
1. Unlock your phone and use a custom rom made for your carrier
2. Pray
Maybe you will get better answers by posting in the forum specific to your phone (Nike I believe). You will find some good information in that forum anyway.

hello every one me again with one of my qwestion.. sorry to be a problem to all of you,,
but can any one help me out? i was trying to do a radio update to my evo
at this moment im on 2.15.00.11.19 but i want to take it down to 1.39.00.05.31 or evo.2.05.00.06.10 but every time i flash the zip file and reboot .. than i can see the phone is loading the new radio and strangely i get the 6 short burst vibrations during the point where theres the phone and the green arrow over it . and when i go to see if anything has changed . the radio still the same.. any help please?

Hi All,
First of all I'm not a native english speaker and I'm a noob in this stuff o rom's .
I recently bought a phone and on update it to JB 4.1.1 with Sense 4+ . Everything went ok and the phone apparently was working ok.
The next day I just noticed that the bluetooth was not 100% because I had some cuts in the sound when connected to a bluetooth headset. Because of this I looked for another OTA update and it found one that said somethink like "General System Improvement" or something like that.
I've installed it but this update didn't went till the end since I get stucked on the "red sign" indicating some fail. I try to reboot the phone but apparently he was dead.
After a lots of tries and key combinations I was able to enter the boot mode and choose to restore to factory mode, but apparently it was not successful. Then I tried and option to check for CRC of img files I think (not sure because don't remeber). It check for 3 images files showing the CRC code, then I think the phone get stucked on one because I still have the waiting message but nothing else happens.
I pressed power button again trying to reboot the phone but since then then phone died completly. The only sign of life is when I connect to the PC windows emits the sound of detecting something but gives an error related to the drives.
Sometimes I get a message saying that a ARX device was found but not anymore.
Tried almost everything that I could read on this forum but nothing seems to work...I think the phone is looping on the boot or doesn't have any battery...not sure.
I've tried some RRU but they fail to find the phone saying not connected or not detected.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Sent it back for warranty repair as soon as you can this is a known fault as it happened to me recently.

Your bootloader isn't locked right? Or were you ever rooted? If the answer is no, just send it to HTC and your warranty will do the rest.

Hello guys , i might need a help out here. I have been round the world on google but still cant find out how to fix my problems with the phone.
Previously , I'm using 2.3.5 and im downgrade to 2.2. I have follow all the step from the link flow-wolf and i flash the

After a while (its takes 3 hours) the phone start vibrating with HTC Logo , when its stop vibrating and its turn on like normal but when i turn off the phone its come again freezing and black screen i cant turn into recovery mode. I have tried to flash the ROM and such but still stuck on the black screen. I really need a help out.

Not only you double post but also you can´t read...downgrading a GB running device to a Froyo RUU messes severily the bootloader and puts it to work in super slow motion and is a pain on the neck to sort that issue out. Good luck my friend....

i have a problem .. i've downloaded the update like 10 time .. every single time the update starts .. my phone boots to the recovery .. and suddenly a red triangle appears and the phone restarts after 10 seconds.. any solution ?

the problem is .. when i bought the device it had a heating issue ... so i took it back and they told me that its a software prob! :/
maybe they changed something .. idk .. any ideas what can i do to get this update .. coz when lollipop comes ,, i dont want to get stuck again ! :/
