Matsunichi - Marquis Tablet 9.7 in.
Hello I am new to this forum but have a request.. I bought this tablet for my wife and she really likes it, unfortunately Matsunichi are to cheap to upgrade from 4.0. Do any of you know if there is a 4.1 or 4.2 rom that I can use to upgrade her tablet.
Display:
9.7 inch LED-backlit 1024x768 pixel resolution at 132 ppi with Multi-Touch Display
CPU/Performance:
Texas Instruments processor
1.2GHz dual-core DSP, low-power system
1GB DDR2 Memory
Thanks in advance.:good:
Hi all,
I'm currently in the process of reviewing the PiPO X7 and have decided to share my findings as so many people are asking questions about this tiny Windows PC.
You can see me booting it and navigating through Windows here:
I have found it excellent so far. Windows is nice and smooth, web browsing is really good and Kodi performance is great! Video playback is generally excellent unless the codec is too taxing on the limited CPU.
Let me know what you think: http://hometheatrelife.com/pipo-x7-review/
I'll keep updating it as I progress and won't give a final score until I'm satisfied.
Hi,
I bought this PiPO (actually the faster X7s, with a boosted speed of 2.16 GHz) for my fiancé for her work.
However, even after upgrading to Windows 10 both the RAM and CPU are almost constantly at 90%+ when she has splitcam running.
Seeing as her PiPO is next to the passive cooling, located on a laptop cooler (so the heat should not be a problem), does anybody know how to (more or less) permanently boost the speed to 2.16 Ghz? Any software settings in Win 10 I missed? Or maybe any Intel / third party software to make it always run at boosted speed?
Next to that the PiPO box states it currently has 2 GiB of DDR3 memory, and seeing a DDR3 strip of 4/8 GiB is not that expensive I was thinking about just adding more RAM. Does anybody know if it is possible to upgrade the RAM?
Does the MoBo support more RAM, or would I need to flash the BIOS maybe?
Thanks in advance.
Check out my review, unboxing and comparison video of the Hi10 and Vi10 above. I also have the gaming video of the Chuwi Hi10 as well.

When it will be available .. And at what cost?
Shipping of the first units should start around the middle of November - at least according to one reseller.
Quite a shame I went for the Vi10 Pro 64GB Z3736F, when this is coming around in a month (from China to Europe in 2 months with shipping?) for a bit extra price.
Hopefully I'll be able to swap it without any harm to my wallet, haha
There is a new vi10 ultimate with that chip you can check it om banggod

Impossible specs, cherry trail z8300 processor will not take 4gb ram ? if it was the cherry trail z8500 processor then it will take 4gb ram,so at the moment the specs are very unreal, also i thought this tablet was a 10.6 inch screen,it's down as a 10.1 ?
The price will be around $200. Pretty good for what you get if you ask me. Don't be fooled by these overpriced offers at Aliexpress. Banggood is a legit site and listed it at price below $190! And they marked the battery as a real 6800mah, not 8000mah. I 100% trust them rather than these sellers on Aliexpress having questinable reputation.
Could I technically Android and create a dual boot of windows/Linux mint on this?
I think that the real question, is wether the tablet has the z8300 or the z8500.
Because, as it has allready been said, the z8300 does not support 4gb ram
Anyone has any knowledge on that fact?

Hello, dear sir
Thank you for your support to Geekbuying.
Yes, it's really with z8300 processor and supports 4gb ram, we confirmed it with the manufacture.
Hope our answers are helpful for you.

I cant post urls.
So search for "techtablets intel z8300 4g".
"
Many of the new Cherry Trail Tablets due to be released soon like the Chuwi Hi10 have Atom X5 Z8300’s in them, but with 4GB of Ram. I originally thought this must have been a typo, or it was the Z8500, as it supports up to 8GB of Ram. Well it seems the X5 Z8300 can indeed support 4GB of Ram, although Intel’s Ark claims it’s limited to 2GB & single channel.
"
see pictures of live operation system screenshots with 4GB.
The sellers "4GB" claims seem to be legit.
Eagerly awaiting the release of this to make my decision on getting one or going with the Teclast X98 Pro.

I'm just worried about the battery. Some people say 8000mAh and others say 6500mAh. Battery life won't be good if it's only 6500mAh.

I'm not an expert, but I did see that it has an 8000mAh battery rated at 6500mAh. Not sure what that means, but it sounds less than stellar for battery life.
Well I ordered on on black Friday and they said they will be in stock on December 4-5 and it ships via Netherland post (if you chose free shipping) so there will probably not be high (if at all) customs fees.

that 615 is really not that good imo.
both can be expanded to 128GB sdcard. although they marketed the 551ML just upto 64GB.

This. The Snapdragon has a much better GPU IMO. PowerVR is a bit crippled, I believe. But that's only if you're gaming heavily or using apps like Snapchat a lot (i have small issues with snapchat on my 551). Other than that I believe the Intel would do better considering the amount of development and support currently available (if it matters to you that is...). And SD cards are supported similarly in both.

PowerVR G6430 was used in iphone 5s too , and it is nearly twice faster than Adreno 405. Snap615 is ARM type, so it is better compatible with apps than Atom on Z551. Overall, i think Z551 is still a better choice
Thank you guys,
I think Intel Atom is faster, but it takes big part of ram which I saw in Ze551ml (only 300 to 400 my free) and in case of ze550kl have 3gb ram and snapdragon 6 series really knows to handle bettry life but some times it works like snail.
What to do guys!?
Pretty much ALL the reviews of the Zenfones with SD615 that I've seen have mentioned lag/stuttering and worse performance than rival devices on same chipset. On the other hand, the ZE551ML is often praised for its smooth performance. Personlly, there's nothing worse than stuttering performance. I'd take the ZE551ML over the Laser every day of the week!
Thanks @kanagawaben,
You are right Buddy but 3gb ram can't help with that.
Hello guys, I found moto g 3rd generation is good rival this competition. Should I go for that or Ze551ml is pure winner?

Is that so? Is this out of benchmarks? I personally find the PowerVR to be underpowered / unstable in daily usage.

This is not really true. Did you grow up with a windows computer? The way Android / Linux / Mac OS handles RAM is slightly different. Usage of RAM is actually a good thing. Linux runs on mostly cache and more cache means better performance. You should not worry about launching a RAM-hungry app because it would simply release the cache and dedicate all the RAM to that app. There's really no harm in having 400mb. Even when filling your RAM, it doesn't fill 2GB at the snap of a finger! Its a gradual process.. So once that 400MB starts getting filled, more and more cache would be released to accommodate. I don't know if I got the technicalities right.. but my bottom line is don't judge performance by the amount of free RAM.
Just FYI. My 16GB RAM in the MBP is almost always full (only about 1.5 GB remaining). And right now I'm just surfing the net.

Moto G is quite weak compared to the 551. Moto X would be a better comparison in my opinion.

Theoretically, no. 801 is quite an old processor and is more or less on par with the latest gen 600 series... like the 617. But the 810 is a curse. It overheats! And way I use the phone, if it overheats and gets throttled, I'm more likely to smash the phone than wait for it to cool down. There are upgraded versions of the 810 which are supposedly better. But I am not taking chances and as a marketer, I know what actually goes on behind the curtains.
So anyway, 801 is comparatively much underpowered and cheaper than the 810, but at least has no performance / heating / throttling issues and I get my money's worth. The OPX is cheaper than the OP2 but its more bang per buck.

It's decent, but I wouldn't go that far. I spent $5K on this one 3 years ago and it's good but not "best ever".
Hi
if you still have this motherboard. your chipset accept DDR4 128GB max (4x32) & 5000 serie CPU
IDK if it's time to add more money in your too mutch enxpensive build (in 1 year you probably will buy a DDR5 plate) but if you want wast more money in anything you have this option
Good pc bro i am using 3600 currently but will upgrade to 5000seires soon so my suggestion is if you have money then go for 5800x
