Hello again,
I'm tired to ask for support team to help me in this case. My moto 360 doesn't show who is calling me, just show "Private Number" instead. Before upgrade to marshmallow was working, but with a previous version of the Wear app (1.0.5.1785466). After the update this version wasn't showing any notification on incoming calls, so I downloaded the latest version of Wear app. So now is showing the notification but always from a "Private Number". Help, please!?
Thanks again

Hi everyone,
I just bought a P6 and directly upgraded to B506 (so, for the comments that follow, I have no prior status to compare against).
What I noticed is that for all incoming calls, only the phone number is shown and not the caller id. For example, I created a contact 'John Doe' for my home phone number and placed a call. Phone number shows up, 'John Doe' does not. Same behavior when I replaced my home phone number (fixed line number) with my wife's mobile phone number.
Furthermore, when I checked the Dialer for the 'missed' call, same story: it shows the number, not the caller id.
At first, I thought that this behavior is attributed to my mobile Telco provider. Then, I downloaded and used a dialer from Play Store (Swipe Dialer Pro). Swipe Dialer's list of recent calls does show the caller id !
So, has anyone else experienced that ? Any clues on what might be causing this behavior on the stock dialer and how it can be resolved ?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Kostas
Hello, I use HTC One M8 and Samsung BHS3000.
When the operating system was Android KitKat, I could use the talk button on the Samsung BHS3000 to make the latest number (whether if it was incoming, outgoing or missed call) call. Just the latest number at the top of the call history list. (I loved this function!) (I think it is called as Call Back or Call Return function.)
I have upgraded the operating system Android KitKat to the Lollipop yesterday. After that I cannot use it as the same way.
When I pressed the talk button on the BHS3000, it dials the latest number which I called last. If there is any other numbers at the top of the list, for example incoming or missed calls, it dials the latest number that outgoing call.
I hope I could explain the problem. Is it related to the Lollipop?
Is there any other settings that I can choose the talk button behavior when it pressed?
For example: To dial the last outgoing number or To dial the last number (whether if it is outgoing, incoming or missed call number)
Thanks in advance..
Android 5.1, all outgoing calls made through Google Voice show as unknown in the call log, even though all contacts are under people. I have a butterlfy 901e , but android version is 5.0 and it does not have this issue
have the same problem android 5.1
Same problem here! And regardless of the firmware - be it stock or alternative - it's the same behaviour!
Back when I had Sense on Marshmallow, using the Do Not Disturb (Priority Only) would result in ANY from of communication from a specific contact come through and ringing. Doesn't matter if it's regular calls and text or WhatsApp.
I am now on GPe running Marshmallow 6.0 MRA58K.H15 and setting up notification is a bit of a headache. I have my contacts starred, which I believe is priority contacts. However, when they called, it lights up the screen but doesn't ring. I didn't try text but WhatsApp notifications also doesn't come in. If I flip priority notification for WhatsApp, it works. However, then all WhatsApp notification will ring.
What I want to happen is when Do No Disturb mode is set to Priority Only, notification from my Starred Contacts come through, be it on WhatsApp or regular calls and texts. Just like when I was running Sense on Marshmallow. How do I do this?
ALSO
WhatsApp Notifications and some other apps doesn't ring when the phone idles. It's as if it goes into Doze mode. Despite WhatsApp being "Not Optimised" in the settings. Any help with that?
I have Push Notification Fix installed and have heartbeat set to 1 and 2 minutes. Still experience delay.

FYI I have the following installed:
Xposed Frameworks
Android N-ify
GravityBox [MM]
Systemless root (Although I think I broke this because of the framework I installed)

When a contact is stared means it's in your favorites list, but doesn't mean they are in the priority list. I believe you have to manually configure the priority list, approving the contacts you wish to be in that list.

How do I do this on Stock Android?
I have found a solution to the problem above. It turns out HTC broke the feature by adding their own code, requiring VIP status like discussed above.
The fix for it, is found here for the GPe edition.
Hi everyone. I just bought Honor Magic Watch 2 42mm version and I am hoping to get some help with a some issues that I faced so far.
- Contacts and Call Log options are not showing in watch menu nor the Add Contacts option in Huawei Health app. This link says that the watch supports that.
https://consumer.huawei.com/sa-en/support/how-to/newbie-guide/en-us00754825/
- Missed Call notification doesn't show the contact name although contact name appears normally when receiving a call.
- When receiving a phone call, there is no option to answer the call although this link says that the option should be there.
https://consumer.huawei.com/sa-en/support/how-to/newbie-guide/en-us00754825/
Does anyone else have the same issues?
- Edit to add firmware and apps versions:
Watch Firmware: 1.0.3.18
Huawei Health: 10.0.2.333
Huawei Mobile Services: 4.0.1.301
It is available only for the 46 mm edition
