N7105 not booting. Help Please! - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I have a N7105 with stock firmware. I have not flashed any ROMS or anything like that on this phone.
I woke up this morning and found the phone on the 'Samsung Galaxy Note 2' boot screen.
I had to take the battery out to turn the phone off.
I booted into recovery mode and all these 'E: Error....' messages popped up.
I clicked on the 'reset data/factory settings option', it asked me to confirm. I selected Yes and more red 'E: Error' messages popped up.
I haven't been in this forum since I owned a Samsung Galaxy S and was flashing 'Darkys ROM' back in the day. So it has been 4-5 years since I last flashed or installed a ROM on a phone.
I need some help please with fixing my N7105. I believe that my only option is to flash a ROM or something via ODIN? Any help/guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

yes, use odin, flash custom recovery and then install rom with recovery.
I think this is unfortunately SDS

Ahh this is so frustrating.
Just tried flashing stock rom again via ODIN and now I am getting this error in Odin..

read about SDS, cuz that's whatchappened to your device for 99%

Thanks.
I've done some research and found that the only fix is to take it in for repairs?

yes, you have to replace emmc chip on motherboard.
You can try to flash, but as you see and described it points to SDS.

Firmware upgrade encountered an issue Galaxy S3 (Sprint)

Hello all:
First I let me apologize for being a noob at this.
I had my my S3 for a month and I rooted myself 2 weeks ago. I'm having some issues now and I'm wondering if you guy and gals can help me?
Right now my phone has a screen up that says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please selected recovery mode in Kies & try again."
The top left of the phone says this:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SPH-L710
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: Yes (5 counts)
CURRENT BINARY: Custom
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: Enable
Could someone please help me with this issue, maybe walk me through step by step. I already have Odin 3.04 downloaded and I don't know what to do to fix it.
You accepted on OTA while being rooted, correct? Never allow OTA updates while rooted, most custom roms block this for you, but stock rooted will allow OTA updates. You can try this toolbox, super simple, ODIN built in, puts your phone in download mode for you. BE SURE TO PICK SPRINT VERSION!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746680, Personnaly when I rooted, I deleted all Samsung apps, kies causes alot of problems IMO.

Thanks I hope it works for me. Just one question (again sorry, I'm a first timer)
All I have to do is hook my phone up to my computer then download the toolkit or what?

and i can't get my phone to load. i have the GS3 tookit, but i dont know what im supposed to do to get my phone back up. if you could help id appreciate it alot.
oh and i seem to be able to get into system recovery and download mode but can't seem to figure out what to do with it. when i try to use the GS3 options it doesnt go pass the "waiting for USB debugging to be enabled" which i can't do becaue it wont load pass the SAMSUNG logo.
hmm i dont know what i did different. i really didnt do anything different. but somehow this time around it completed and passed. waiting now to see if it reboots completely...taking a while... and it started. WOW. wtf. well thanks anyways guys =/
Sorted!
I've been searching everywhere for a solution. Stupid Samsung and their Knox and their Kies (which fixes nothing)
I finally got it sorted!
1. Pull out the battery.
2. Reinsert the battery and force the phone into Download Mode. (Yes, I'm aware that the phone is unable to go anywhere else at this point; but when I fixed mine, I did it manually so that it displayed the Android droid logo, rather than the "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue..." message.
3. By now, you've probably tried every version under the sun. Try one more. It's an Odin package with the recovery image built-in. Assuming that you already have your Samsung drivers, download the executable from Step 3 of this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2755793
4. Good luck! I'm just glad I finally fixed mine. Beware the OTA!

[Q] [HELP] installed setuidoff now stuck in stock boot

So i have a T-Mobile Galaxy S4 SGH-M919, and the story goes like this
so i decided to root it, and used CWM, and installed superuser. Superuser read that there was no binary, so i searched on forums to help me out. Someone said that installing MDB-setuidoff.zip would help, and now it is soft bricked, stuck on the Galaxy S4 logo reading
"Kernel Not Seandroid Enforcing"
So i figured, that it was a kernel problem, so i looked for the stock kernel, and upon attempted installation, CWM recovery said it was aborted and not installed. At this point i said screw it, and decided to try and unroot, but now using ODIN 3.07, using the stock tar.md5 from galaxys4root website
when i try to flash the PDA, it reads "FAIL" and an error

i can still reach odin, and recovery mode, but need help getting a working phone again. Completely out of ideas, maybe someone can chime in and help? I don't mind going back into stock unrooted state, or some kind of different root/rom as long as its stable. Help me get my phone back!
thanks in advance

If you had the 4.3 bootloader on your phone, you cannot use Odin to flash a stock ROM.
Were you running the stock AT&T 4.3 ROM?

Based on your Odin printout in the first post you were flashing a modified 4.1.1 kernel to install root. This should be fine if you were on either the 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 stock ROM. If you were on the 4.3 stock ROM your root attempt is probably the source of the problem.
IMPORTANT How to proceed from here depends on if you were on 4.3 or an earlier version of stock.
Also, since this forum is for AT&T and Canadian variants; I see the title of the first post says i747 - is this correct? It matters.

ok, not to jack his thread, but what if you are on the 4.3 bootloader? i didnt do what he did, but i am stuck in a similar situation. I am on the 4.3 bootloader, but i do have a custom recovery installed. problem is i get an error when i try to wipe. Ive tried flashing stock 4.3 rom via sideload in stock recovery, and modified rom though twrp. both roms install fine, but dont boot, but they do freeze in different points so i know something is being flashed. ive also tried wiping in cwm and stock. im bout ready to flash anything to this phone. oh and a nandroid restore fails after boot img flashes.

From your message, you likely were on stock 4.3. Since you are able to get into recovery and download modes, you may try a restore via custom recovery. Please see the thread below on how to install custom recovery and do a stock restore ...

Before doing anything else, boot into recovery. If you are on a stock recovery the very first line will tell you that the system recovery is 3e
If you have one of the custom recoveries it will be different. If you have one of the custom recoveries, TWRP or CWM, you can use the link Larry299 posted earlier in this thread to restore your phone. If you are on the stock recovery and the 4.3 bootloader I don't know what to suggest.

There is a chance that being rooted will prevent you from using the OTA official update. I've seen reports of people being able to update to the official 4.3 while rooted, but I've also seen reports of people not being able to update.
Before you make that update, bear in mind that the official 4.3 bootloader, its name ends in MJB, is the one that will prevent you from ever going back to an older bootloader. Some of the devs and the more experienced on here have no problem with that. Others do consider it an issue. An alternative is to install the leaked 4.3 bootloader, it's name ends in MJ2. That bootloader will allow you to downgrade to the 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 bootloaders, or so I have read. There is information about this in the development and the general forums for our device.
To muddy the waters more; if you intend to sim unlock your device without gettings codes from your carrier you need to do it from the 4.1.1 official ROM. A point you can not return to from the official 4.3 ROM, or so I've read.
I am having a huge booting issue with my Samsung Galaxy S3. Its a brand new one and I tried rooting it but it gave me this error:

I've tried follow a bunch of these threads, but I can't seem to resolve my issue yet. I probably have that 4.3 bootloader which screwed everything up. Can someone help me resolve my issue? I literally got this phone today from AT&T. Thank you.

[Q] Unable to flash back to stock UCAMA4

I have been running a rooted version of 4.3 (UCUBMK6) with TWRP recovery for some time, and want to do the OTA update to Kitkat. So I'll need to bring it back to stock first. I ran TriangleAway and rebooted to download mode afterward. Then I followed THIS guide to flash back to stock ROM 4.2.1 "KIES_HOME_I317UCAMA4_I317ATTAMA4_578342_REV04_user_low_ship.tar.md5".
I tried several times with Odin 3.07, but every time it fails:

I then went back into download mode and flashed the rooted UCUBMK6 ROM, which works just fine (and also took it back from TWRP to stock recovery).
Does anyone have any idea how I can get it back to a stock, unrooted ROM, so that I can run OTA? Thx!

I followed sections all sections 1 threw 3. At section 2 the link for the I317UCUBMK6-TZ-PARAM.zip did not work. I used this link instead.

At section 3 don't be alarmed when it says it's downloading the update but it doesn't show percentages. It is downloading. In fact for me it automatically downloaded the 4.4.2 update instead of 4.3. It skipped it and went straight to kitkat. It took some time but I have Official KItkat 4.4.2.
Hit Thanks

You mentioned that you used Odin 3.07. I used 3.09 with no success. Had to use version 1.85.
