I have concluded the issue with G2 wireless charging is with Lollipop 5.0.2. Is there any hope a presumed OTA update to Marshmallow will address this issue? Any suggested workarounds?

Looks like G flex just got wifi calling through an update, and all of Sprints triband LTE devices are supposed to be compatible. Anyone heard about attempts to port this over to the G2?

No because it is coming to the G2, at some point.

Hopefully, but Sprint isn't super aggressive with updates for older phones

the lg g2 seems to be getting updates every 3-4 months, and we have another one coming soon since the source code is already posted on the LG website. It has been speculated but not yet confirmed that this upcoming update will have wifi calling
No Wifi calling in the latest update!
yup, hope it comes soon
I had they may have another update that puts that feature in

Does anyone know if Voice calls are over data? I can't do anything over the internet while I'm on a call.
Not data unless it put it in hd voice maybe. But usually you can't browse our such while on a call

I keep getting updates every few days for a week or so. (I hope this is for that feature)
I still have an issue with "updating profile-system error" so I think there is more to come or something else...been not liking Sprint lately.
Stock ZVC rooted
Sorry to revive this thread, but is anyone working on this by any chance? It's been about a year or more since Sprint announced Wi-Fi calling and there is still nothing for the G2...
I think this would complete my wish list for my G2, still haven't found a ROM with this feature yet.
I'm on ATT and my new LG G3 keeps losing signal at random times where my other phones have signal without problem. Anyone else experiencing this or know how it might be corrected? I'm rooted and debloated if that helps.
I am in india on vodafone happnlens woth mw too
With week wifi signals too
From Lg G3 "the beast"
Is there any way to improve the signal strength?
Hi everyone
I recently got the F500S model of the LG G4 and when I was using it in Asia I didn't seem to have any problems. But when I returned to Canada and began using it it seems that I am never able to connect to LTE and my reception just randomly drops even when I'm staying in one spot.
Any ideas on how i can fix this?
Thanks
I recently brought my LG G3 with me to Europe (while on Honeymoon) because I found out from T-Mobile that I could use text and data there at no extra cost. My phone works fine in the United States. But it doesn't find a carrier connection in London; Southampton; Vigo, Spain; Lisbon, Portugal; Cadiz, Spain; Gibraltar; and Barcelona.
I tried my phone in each location and it never connected to anything that wasn't WiFi. That really really sucked. I get that I have it rooted and I am using a different Lollipop ROM than stock. But I didn't think that would prevent it from connecting to towers there.
So what happened? What would be on a fully stock T-Mobile LG G3 that I wouldn't get on my rooted and ROMed version? I'm sure it something simple, but I would really like to know so that I can fix the problem before I go back.
did you turn on roaming?
mine worked great in Paris.
also, if you have really older version of rom

you may need to do this
Worked for me in Paris and Lisbon. I've had some issues when wifi calling is enabled, though. I think there are some very real modem issues but I eventually got it to work.
Recently acquired an unlocked D851. which I m using on the AIS network in Thailand. I am curios if it is normal for it to show 4G when I am actually connected to an HSPDA network? Every other phone I have used would display an H or H+.
Does the D851 support 4G networks running on the 1800 MHz band? It never connects to an actual 4G connection on the AIS network.
Thank you!
I use lg g3 D855 non rooted phone from last year. I have restart problem and I bye new battery and problem solve but I face a new one.
