Hi. I've searched for months. I'm not a novice, but I'm not even close to programmer... I've a Samsung S4 mini i9195i running 4.4.4 . I rooted as soon as I got it, everything works great except 4g. I'm on tmobile in the USA, and I can't figure how to get 4g operable. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Rooted with odin, twrp... su, titanium backup installed, stock rom
T-Mobile LTE won't work on the S4 Mini. T-Mobile uses a very specific LTE radio band (1700 mhz) that is only available on specific (usually T-Mobile branded) phones. You can use 3G and lower with T-Mobile on the international phones, and T-Mobile's original 4G (HSPA+) is just a boosted 3G.

As far as I can tell the nitro hd is a Qualcomm snapdragon s3 phone using Qualcomm mdm9200.
In the galaxy s2 lte forum people have gotten a AWS to work by flashing modem firmware from Tmobile galaxy S2 and even the HTC AWS phone with a mdm9200. I am wondering if anyone tried doing the same on this phone since it also apparently features the Qualcomm mdm9200.
What is AWS?
AWS is the spectrum T-Mobile uses 1700mhz uplink, 2100 downlink
How useful will this really be considering T-mobile is moving toward supporting 1900?
Canadian carriers such as Wind and Mobilicity, where you get unlimited canada wide everything for only $35 a month
I recently purchased an international note, and i put my sim card in and everything but i'm only picking up edge, no hsdpa. I'm with tmobile, and i know i'm in a spot where i used to pick up hsdpa on my original note. If my understanding is right, the note 2 is quad band and should work on all us carriers as long as its unlocked right? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!
btw. i'm rooted and running hypernote 0.3
What version of Note1 did you have. It's been mentioned 1000 times on this forum, the N7100 does not support Tmobile HSPA+ unless you are in a refarmed area. If you are counting on using TMobile, sell your phone and buy the TMobile version. That way you can use it anywhere and not depend on finding refarmed tower which are only in a handfull of cities at the moment.

Hi friends. I have a unlocked T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S3. I brought it here to Honduras. I only have 3G on my network. I use Tigo. Do I have to change modem to have a 4G? Greetings.

According to Google, Tigo uses HSPA 21Mbps and UMTS in the rest of their network. What speeds are you seeing? No modem change will be required unless they have deployed LTE, in which case, I am sorry to say you will not be able to use the T999 on any LTE network.
Once a custom rom is completed is it possible to turn lte on for the at&t network band?
IIRC the LTE model of the S4 Mini only has the bands used internationally and not the bands used by At&t in the US. This is a hardware restriction that cannot be fixed with software.
But, an LTE model of the S4 Mini with At&t LTE capability just passed through the FCC a few days ago so it may be coming to At&t:

OK so I have a Galaxy Grand Prime (locked to Cricket) that gets 3+ bars LTE at my home. I recently got an AT&T (locked to AT&T) Galaxy S3 (I747) off of eBay to use on Cricket. Since both AT&T and Cricket both use AT&T's LTE network I expected it to work without a problem. However when I put the Cricket SIM in the S3 I can only get 2G EDGE network. I have tried different APNs, network modes, even a couple custom roms. I have no idea what the problem might be.
Any help would be much appreciated
What bootloader and modem are on the phone? Not sure if either of those things will keep you on edge.
