Hi,
I have just received my LG G4 back from LG repair as when i took a video, it was juddery when being played back. They have said they have replaced the mainboard. I got it back and it was still a juddery mess so decided to rollback from 6.0 to 5.1 and its buttery smooth. Can't believe LG have replaced a whole mainboard instead of testing the firmware first.
Can anybody who has upgraded to 6.0, let me know if their video recording is juddery? I have just rolled back from 6.0 to 5.1 and was buttery smooth, updated to 6.0 again and juddery. Roll back to 5.1 again and buttery smooth so definitely something to do with 6.0

Hi,
G2 Was Updated 5.0 with G3 Ui
İ Think LG Will Update To 5.1 With G4's LG UX 4.0
You Guys Think G3 Will Upgrade The UX4.0 ?
Depends on what LG wants to do. Any features they give to the g3 from the g4 is another reason for people to not need to upgrade, but who knows.
I see LG started to update their apps to to match UX 4.0 style, so i think maybe there is a little chance we can get that gorgeous 4.0 style in the 5.1 update.
I think we are entitled to at least 2 years of updates.
Hi guys
I have question how is the update policy of LG? I am a note 4 user but Samsungs update policy made me think to change my phone and it will probably be a G4,before that I want to know how LG treates it's phones for example the G3 their previous flagship
Coming from the G2, I am very impressed. We got several updates and even got Lollipop before the G3 got updated. They are really good on past phones. Everything is sort of in a stalemate rigjt now because of the Android M. No sense in updating anything when Android M is the finalised version of lollipop.
Could be better tbh, they update Korean version very fast which include major fixes 2 months ago, and only 2 weeks ago people started receiving those.
Aside from google, all other take their time, LG won't release any new android besides Android M on G4.
Thank you for your answers
We expect these LG devices will be treated to Nougat soon:
LG G4
LG G5
LG Magna
LG Spirit
LG V10

I just to check at opensource.lge.com but nothing is there yet

The article does say about it.
I don't think so, but i would like it

While this does sound great, it does sound a bit too great imo. The article doesn't say if it was announced, or even rumoured from the inside - it's just their own speculation. Nevertheless, hope it pans out.
There's no way we're getting Nougat. Also 1GB is a bit too low for Nougat. I hope I'm wrong though. I noticed that they "expect" OP2 and X to get Nougat, but it's widely known by now that they're doomed in terms of official software updates.
I don't think we're getting nougat update at all. They've released many devices after spirit with mm on them ,so they'll prioritize them first and lg never gave more than a single os update to their mid range devices.
LG Stylo 2, that phone got Nougat update, but hw is a bit same with spirit, also there are config files in kernel. They could made it as I was managed to boot Nougat on Spirit! :d
What is new in android oreo for a5 2017?!
Performance
Can't really say what exactly is new apart from samsung experience 9.0 (emojis, animation and stuff) but my phone is quite faster now, at least that's what Im getting since I made the update.
Hello G8 fans. Has anyone had any problems with their video camera lagging extremely since upgrading to Android 11? My camera is practically useless now.

No camera problems here with Android 11. But I have only had it for 2 months, 11 days.
