is that since I turn on my zenfone 2 3 apps open and a ram gets filled and slow. I have the version of 4GB of RAM as I can avoid this ??
It's strange... My ZF2 has 4GB RAM, and all the time I never see the free run below 1,5GB in stock rom.
Well, you can flash a custom kernel to partially fix the memory management (Lollipop is a bull****) or a lightweight stock-based custom rom. My recomendations are: Project T and BORET's kernels and Prism Barebone and Echoe ROMs.

Did you unlock the bootloader? Your fw version is updated?
As the addition:
1. Install and configure Xposed.
2. Install Fix Lollipop Memory Leak from the repositories.
3. Activate module and reboot.
It should fix ColorFade memory leak that exist on Android 5.0.x ROMs.

Will this introduce any problems if switching between the already existing ICS, CMx ROMs other than needing the corresponding gapps lite from there on out?

What are the advantages of the 3.4 kernel ? more compatible with JB 4.x.x ?

Dont know about 2.6.35, but 3.0.x not stable because all using CM kernel for base. CM kernel base on CAF sources, not on LG original sources.
3.4 working very good for me. Battery life and performance on Stock 4.1 are great without any dirty tweaks and patches in kernel!

CM took the lu6200 ICS sources and added display stuff from caf.
The original lge ICS ota was unstable for all iproj devices.
I have a weak p930 that will be the judge of the new 3.4 kernel. It reboots about every 5 to 15 minutes under the ics kernel. I will try when I get sources... No sources, no install...
Can't wait to flash this once WiFi is working
I don't have unlimited data and use WiFi a lot.
Flashed this ROM. It looks very good except WIFI issue. Am now testing battery drain. Looking for WiFi fix.
I've been checking this thread every
Hour for a WiFi fix... I use this as a WiFi only device so the lackthereof is a killer right now for me... That being said if anyone has a lead on what's breaking it I would love to help find a fix for the problem. Really never thought we would see a jb release for our device from LG but I believe it will be a major stepping stone for future development of our P93x's. Once again I wanna thank miroslav and all the other great devs and tinkerers who bust their asses to make our phones into beasts, and I look forward to seeing what awesomeness will come with these recent leaks.

Hello,
my german HTC Wildfire S A510e is running the latest stock ROM at the moment. Unfortunately I am running out of RAM (only 12 MB left at the moment), even though I am using app2sd and just a few apps.
Therefore I am looking for a good custom ROM which provides more RAM. But it should be 100% bug free as I am depending on my phones features (USB tethering, cam, camcorder, youtube, google play, etc.).
Is such a custom ROM available?

short and simple: No not at this moment
Try removed bloatware Sense 2.1 or sense 3.5 ROM..
O.k. then let's try the 2nd best option. Which custom ROM is the one with the fewest bugs?
@ varun26296: Do you mean the 'CUSTOM SENSE ROMS'?
Depends on what kind of model you have, the 2012 models are a bit different (and less tested)
I also don't think the changes are high you get a bug free camcorder (at least not Cm10)
also most costum roms don't have int2ext included and to have more ram you need this.
Unfortunately the int2ext scripts have the intention not to work the first time (or at least for me)
You should check other users opinion on this cause I am kinda new here and have no experience with older builds
quizmaster123, I have the first Wildfire S from 2011 with hardware version 0128.
If the cam works properly (for pictures), I could accept a non-working camcorder.
Yep!! Try Crossfire's sense ROM..
Thanks for the advice, I will try that.
emmkay
Yep you need to try sense roms for less bugs, especially not the light ones..
best bug free rom

There are a few roms out there which are stable but with a feature or 2 at the most missing. You can usually just install after market apps to make them work normally.
And if you meant more internal memory (instead of more ram), then u can either install the slim builds or use titanium backup or such to remove unnecessary apps.
The best thing to do would be to use int2ext scrips or such.Believe me they work like a charm as long as you check the rom compatibility.

I think because of the kernel. kernel doesn't have swap support. Moreover, you may use khan kernel. I recommend its 362 mb ram version.

Hi,
I've been using tips from this community . I decided to become a member recently. I've been using an Arc S since April 2012. I'd had bluetooth(bootloop) and Wi-Fi (extremely slow) problems with ICS(stock). I'd then rooted and installed this kitkat ROM ( [ROM][CM11][Arc/S][UB] Xperia UltraKat v2.1.1 | KK 4.4.2 | 11/4/2014 | [DISCONTINUED]). The Wi-Fi and bluetooth problems vanished at the cost of a resource hogging ROM( it took up a lot of RAM and internal memory ). I could use those features but there wasn't much space to do so. I'd then downgraded to ICS and installed this ICS ROM([ROM]{ICS} Xperia Ultimate HD 5.0.1 | Extreme Innovation | Performance redefinied |]) recently. The ROM is amazing; it's fast and doesn't take up much space but the Wi-Fi is slow ( download erratically - took a few hours to download 18MB). I have a feeling that the Wi-Fi problem is intimately linked to ICS. I mean no disrespect to the developers, they've done their part.
In short, could someone suggest a ROM in which:
1) There are no Wi-Fi problems.
2) There are no bluetooth problems.
3) The ROM is fast and I get sufficient( ~250-300MB) internal memory.
4) Games work smoothly(optional )
I've tried searching but I want to know for certain that the above things work(from people who have actually used the ROM).
I looked at this thread ([Q&A][KK]Review of 2 roms, with tips and bugs and future suggestions) , but it doesn't answer my questions specifically. Plus, I'm skeptical about returning to kitkat
I guess I'm looking for a JB ROM. Any ideas, suggestions or comments ?

JB ROMs are laggier than KK? I didn't know that. When I was using the kitkat ROM(ultrakat), I used to get ~60-90MB of free RAM. I'm using a JB ROM now(Super Jelly Bean 8.0) and I get ~170-210MB of free RAM. And there's no lag at all.
I'll still try the CM11 based ROM though. Thanks for the suggestion.

There's certain tweaks that can be done to the ROM that reduces lag. KK is supposed to be faster because it was developed for low end devices.

Changing the I/O scheduler can improve device performance but it's not so obvious. I won't recommend overclocking because you're going to fry the mobo especially when you OC to 2GHz. You can try V6 supercharger script. Did wonders for my Arc S back then.

Hello Team,
I do have a Zenfone2 Z00AD, 2GB Ram, and 16GB internal memory.
I kinda seem to find it slow, with the apps and games I have installed in it, it is currently in official firmware.
I am planning to install custom firmware in it, can you guys give me some advice in which custom rom is so far the best that you have tried for zf2?
What I am looking for a custom rom to address for my zf2 are th following:
rooted by default
ready for xposed (if possible)
not power hungry (battery friendly)
debloated (most stock/unnecessary apps removed)
themable (optional)
fast/smooth system/UI
Will have long term support/update (incase if the marshmallow android version will already be officially available for zf2)
So far, what I have in mind are echozen (echoe rom?) and slimp.
Any other suggestion guys will be highly appreciated.
Thank you!
each person have different opinion about what's the best custom rom, i have tried CM 12.1 , Cm 13, RR Remix, the last i try is AICP Rom and since then i stick with this Rom until now, more or less AICP Rom is the most suitable custom rom for my need, to know which Rom you need the most, you should try them, but don't expect too much (looking for perfectness rom) because each rom have plus and minus. to answer your questions in AICP Rom that i use:
rooted by default yes
ready for xposed (if possible) i know nothing about xposed and don't really care either
not power hungry (battery friendly) yes
debloated (most stock/unnecessary apps removed) yes
themable (optional) yes
fast/smooth system/UI yes
Will have long term support/update (incase if the marshmallow android version will already be officially available for zf2) until now the developer always give an update
