After a hardbrick from a bad rooting, i succeed to restore the download mode from my d855 lg g3.
But when i try to flash a rom, it doesnt work.
From Lg support mobile tool or LG FLASHTOOL 2014 it stops at 2 or 3% with multiple KDZ file. (d855v20a and d855v21a)
With LG FLASHTOO v1.8 (tot) method, i get this error :
Model Name : LG-D855RE
SWV : LGD850PRAT-00-V20a-GLOBAL-SCA-MAR-17-2015-32G+0
SWOV : LGD850PRAT-00-V20a-GLOBAL-SCA-MAR-17-2015-32G+0
Device Model is different!
Check phone or dll !
I took the stock TOT and dll : LGD855_20140526_LGFLASHv160.dll and LGD855AT-00-V10e-EUR-XX-JUL-08-2014-32G+0.tot
Before i tried to root, i had the D855v20a version...
Do you have any ideas please? :s
I dont know if theres one for g3 but g2 had a megalock.dll if im not misttaken just for sitiations like this its been a while since ive been in the g2 forums but u might look into it

Not new to flashing roms but, was recently running CloudyG3 2.5 Rom on my lg g3 D852 and wanted to switch to the kitkat version G3 1.2 during the installation I accidentally clicked on another version other than D852. Now the phone is stuck at Fastboot Mode Started.
I am unable to get into the recovery but, can access download mode. Currently there is no .kdz file for my carrier but only a .tot file. Using the LG FlashTool and the given proper .tot and .dll I tried flashing my phone and recieve the following error.
"Device Model Different"
Can anyone help me?

Hi guys i have a d855 g3 with a d851 motherbord and am stuck in download mode whene i try to flash the d855 tot file lg flashtool gives me an erorr " partition change " because the mother board is a d851 and whene i try to flash it with the d851 tot files its gives me an erorr " model changed d855 to d851 " guys plz help i dont know what to do ....!!!!

I have two LG g4 . both of them refurbished and korean version ( i've searched iemi and found them, one of is F500k and other is F500s) but flashed as LGH815 rom (rom version lollipop H81510h .)
after flashing H81520j in my F500s model it wont turn on. but i can hear boot sound. also blue LED beeps . if i pressed volume button i can hear sound. I flashed it with LGUP and it flashed perfectly but not booting.
i've flashed the same rom in another device ( which is F500k) and working perfectly.
i've also flashed perfectly other rom version. which are...
1) Europe H815D kdz
2) Europe open H815D kdz
3)H81520i Kdz
4) LGH815AT-00-V10h-GLOBAL-COM-AUG-25-2015+0.tot file
I can not boot my F500s device right now. no download mood. but device manager showed it as LG Androidnet Usb serial port.
also detected by LGUP but trying to flash it via LGUP but it says KDZ file is invalid.Tried same KDZ which flshed earlier but no use . when i open LGUP phone setting option it detects as H818 device .
tried in LG flash tool 2014 . but not working . also tried with connecting LG bridge but MTP mood is disabled .
i think it is not hard bricked. plz help me !!!

okay guys.... finally my phone is alive..!!!!:laugh::laugh::laugh:
my phone was recognized by LGUP by all af the KDZ were showing error..
so when i saw after clicking phone setting of LGUP that my phone is showing H818 version ( i don't know why the hell is that coz i didn't setup any H818 version rom) i first download a H818 rom . which was a tot file. i installed it. i was amused to see that is was installed where other kdz were detected invalid. but although i setup that phone wasn't booting. so then i edit a H815 rom and setup it .
which was "LGH815AT-00-V10h-GLOBAL-COM-AUG-25-2015+0.tot"
it installed perfectly but my problem still remains.
and then i installed "LGF500LAT-00-V11d-LGU-KR-SEP-21-2015+0.tot" file ( i have to edit it too.)
and horray.....!!! my phone is alive....!!!!!!
but i've to FRP by pass it.
by the way.. i've a question . which one is responsible for network ? " modem, boot or any other image ?
if i extract that img from this korean version and use it to a global version will it work ?
Sir please tell me how you edit LGF500LAT-00-V11d-LGU-KR-SEP-21-2015+0.tot file i have edited it with Hex editor changed model to H815 as i have flashed H815 uk rom on my LG F500L
hello everyone ,
i got LG G4 H815L
now i was on Android 6.0 a long time and i see that i able to upgrade to android 7.0 with LG UP and TOT file for my model
so i did this .. and the android 7 boot up and everything was fine but all my things and the carrier bootup logo stay ..
so i think that i should take the TOT file again and press refurbish and not Upgrade button
here is the problem .. i am stupid
so the flash failed on LG UP and the phone get stuck on Firmware update
and .. i cant do anything else ... i try to flash a lot of versions of android 6 that fit to my model H815L
but they stuck in LG UP on 24% and after that i get Error message 0x2000
i try to search about 4 hours how i solve the error ...
i replace 8994 dll's
try to install LG drivers again
and lg up again from another source
and really everything
so i give up ... i need a help ..
in the LG up software i see in version H81529A
maybe my phone think that he another model ?
but the TOT file that i download of android 7 is optimized for H815L only ..

LG UP let me Flash H815 V20P
on my H815L
but i didnt have my language on my phone...
what did i do.. i didnt want to flash again KDZ file on LG up and make my phone brick again ...
why i cant flash H815L ?
i add the language that i need with moreLocale2
but every reboot the language deleted ..and its annoying
i want to flash H815L
from my country but its not possable
all the KDZ files didnt reach 100% in LG UP
and brick my phone .
Help someone ?
LGUP not working it says you have to select a known model please and lg flash tool says failed previous load() help me I can't find a fix my model is lg g3 d852 and my phone is bricked any way to install twrp so I can flash firmware via twrp because those flash tool doesn't work plz help me
