Hi good people I got problem with my LG G3 D855 I don't know it's European or what but I'm using in south Africa when I'm trying to switch ON it says LG SECURITY ERROR and goes OFF it was rooted and visions was 5.1.1 I even try to flash it with LG flash tool but it's not conecting:crying: now i don't know what to do plz I need help plz

Probably if you have access to custom recovery and you change the kernel could fix the security error.If not you could try to flash a stock firmware with flash tool and reroot your phone.

Surely you're not referring to the "Secure Boot Error"?
It happens for recovery access or affects the normal bootup too?
In both cases you have to put device in Download Mode and flash a "bumped" recovery (TWRP is highly preferable).
If the issue persists, you have to restore the stock rom with the LG Flash Tool 2014 by doing a "CSE flash" and lose all data.
If you not solve, your device is officially compromised and ****ed up.
The warranty won't guarantee assistance for broken phone with custom rom or recovery installed.

Not new to flashing roms but, was recently running CloudyG3 2.5 Rom on my lg g3 D852 and wanted to switch to the kitkat version G3 1.2 during the installation I accidentally clicked on another version other than D852. Now the phone is stuck at Fastboot Mode Started.
I am unable to get into the recovery but, can access download mode. Currently there is no .kdz file for my carrier but only a .tot file. Using the LG FlashTool and the given proper .tot and .dll I tried flashing my phone and recieve the following error.
"Device Model Different"
Can anyone help me?

Hello everyone... I was on stock MM V20e-OPT2-HQ and I tried flashing to LP back, I used LGUP and check the update option cause refurbished only make me choose TOT file and no KDZ... after 100% complete. the phone wont pass the LG logo. my G4 is 510... help me please
ok I used the lg bridge to unbrick and it worked... it is now on LP V10e-SCA-XX. any one know from where is that version?
Hello! I am having issues flashing KDZs into my soft bricked G3 via Flashtool 2014 and LGUP. When flashing using Flashtool 2014, an error "connection to server failed" is shown and did not flash the image into my G3. When using LGUP, it only recognize my G3 as "unknown" and does not allow me to select my phone as I need to "select a known model". Could anyone help with this issue? The firmware I am flashing is V21A_00 and only have access to download mode. Thanks in advance.

While an old thread, it'll be found in searches. For anybody who gets "UNKNOWN" device with LGUP for the LG G3, I found that LGUP for the G3 is often distributed with the wrong DLL file. See the details here, post #11.

I bought a LG G3 a month ago.The model was D855 and running on stock kitkat.Later i updated my phone to Marshmallow using Lg flash tool 2014 but it showed some errors [no network,no wifi,no bluetooth] and the model number converted to D855V. I tried LS990ZV4 tot with LGUP8974.dll using flash tool.So i didn't have any solution to restore it without changing current build.prop to LS990 build.prop.And for that i need root access but i failed to root my stock Marshmallow .Then i was trying to downgrade my device using D855 firmwares where stock Lolilpop worked but no MTP connection.I decided to go for stock Kitkat so that i can root and change build.prop but it occurs bootloop when i flash with stock kitkat.I tried different version of D855 kitkat firmwares but the result is same NO SUCCESS! .And today i was trying to flash another version of Kitkat firmware which caused BRICKED my phone.Now download mode is not working.Only Fastboot mode.
There are some solution to fix Download mode.But i don't know which model to try for solution LS990 or D855 ?
How can i Unbrick and restore my phone to LS990?
