Wouldn't the Qualcomm usb settings only be for qualcomm devices? The n7100 is Exynos.
I've been trying to get into this menu to repair my IMEI, QPST is for Qualcomm devices too afaik

I am trying to connect my Sprint L520 to CDMA workshop and seem to be getting no go on it. It is on Android 4.2.2 running stock unrooted ROM. The phone will show up in CDMA as the Samsung Mobile USB Serial Port but when I hit connect it connects but when I put the SPC which is not 6 zeroes (got it from MSL UTILITY) It says phone does not respond. any ideas? I am assuming there is somewhere another Hidden menu that is still disabled which I will need to toggle before I can successfully connect to CDMA. I got it on DM+Modem+ADB plus USB Debugging. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!
Not entirely sure or not of what you're trying to do but I'll say this. Try a different usb port. Make sure there's only one instance of that work shop going. Restart the device and pc. Follow another guide or find out if knox is preventing you.

I have done this with both a Sprint Note 2 and Note 3 and found I had the same problem with both phones. After I used CDMA Tools to write the NV Items, NAM 1&2, then use DFS to put in the profile info and change the MEID I reboot the phone and am no longer able to connect to the phone in either program until I do a factory reset on the phone. After rebooting I verify that the ##3424# settings are correct and put the phone in debugging mode again (because it usually turns off after reboot) but I am not able to connect to the phone, unless I do a factory reset, even if I reboot the computer.
I have been able to succesfully flash both phones to Boost and have everything working, so that is not my problem , but it is time consuming for me since I can only connect to the phone once and input all the info in without resseting the phone (since im not an expert and may need to connect more than once with DFS or CDMA tools). Is this normal when flashing?

I have done a few and no it is not normal. What radio/firmware are you on? It could be that you are on a newer radio that is causing the issue.

I originally did this with a Note 3 which was on Kitkat. I had to downgrade the modem firmware to MJ4 in order to get signal after I had flashed the phone, which was originally NC5. The NOte 2 had Jelly bean on it and I experienced the same problem on both.
When trying to connect with DFS (after being connected and rebooting phone) it will bassically say that the port is busy and I cannot connect until I do a factory reset, whether I reboot the computer or not.
I successfully rooted my friends Fire Phone by downgrading to 3.5 OS.
After the root was done, everything was performing well. EXCEPT TWRP. TWRP would not install no matter what I did, not sure what went wrong there...
Anyways, my friend decided to factory reset which led to a bootloop I have never encountered before. I can get to the screen where it asks to register device, then it asks whether or not to enable location services, then it asks to register device, going back & forth......
Im fairly sure this is because of a reset while rooted without TWRP.
I have tried toolkits to unbrick, followed steps through adb, seems like nothing works.
Even more annoying is that there is no way for me to turn on the USB debugging on the phone (since factory settings were reset), so command prompt does little good. I can see the device showing up in my computer though. Just no way for phone to allow the access.
I have rooted a few phones, but never one with this much trouble. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have a system dump? Or know where to download one for Fire Phone?
Dont think I can fix the phone without it. & then I still have to figure out how to get usb debugging "on" while not being able to get in settings, so that ADB command can connect with phone
I broke my 3.5 install too, but got it working again by sideloading 3.6.2 and then going to 3.5 again. Each time with full reset. Have you tried that?
It wont show up in sideload b/c i dont have usb debugging on. Thus, my problem. Ive tried that many times. I have correct drivers. I was using ADB prior to my factory reset. Now, its screwed haha. Amazon will be ecstatic
I dont think that twrp or any custom recoveries are available on the Amazon Fire Phone. Installing the twrp was likely the issue. Not the root. I can factory reset my rooted Fire Phone with no issues.

Did you ever solve your problem?
Hey I know that I can perform the upgrade using the LG mobile tool. I just had a question about that. I know to hit upgrade recovery and it will update the phone, but the only way my phone connects to the mobile tool is to set the phone to MTP mode. Is MTP mode the correct usb setting to use to get the update to 5.0? Thanks for any help.
