Is the H811 going to get CM13? - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Sent from my LG-H811 using Tapatalk

It kinda... does?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-0-t3243588
There's nothing in this thread saying the H811 is excluded from CM13 unless I'm mistaken
Edit: just checked, CM doesn't offer CM13 for the H811 on their site.... I'd probably reason this is because the H811 t-mobile rom just now released so they haven''t had much to work with until recently.

Patience........ Patience.......that's all it takes lol.

A little confused.

OK so I'm fairly new to xda. I know how to navigate a little due to the fact I have a nexus 7 2012. Other than that all of my phones have been prepaid and I usually would reside in Android forums. I'm not sure exactly which model number is the at&t variant for the g pro. Mines ships later on today and I want to get rooted and get a ROM on here really fast. Just wanted to know which ROMs were safe to flash and what not. The help would be greatly appreciated

E980 is for here in the states.also check your software version if its 10p u have to flash to a previous version to root.10p is unrootable as of now.i got mine two weeks ago and it came with 10p so make sure you check.

Gotta love lg for locking the hell out if their devices. Lol. Thanks for the info. And I would have to flash the previous version using a kdz file using that lg tool correct?

Well. Got it all taken care of. Rooted and running harmony.

[Q] ZVD Compatible ROMs

Hey guys,
I just wanted to know if anyone can give me a full (or at least full as they can get it) list of ROMs that work on the ZVD firmware for the Sprint LG G2. Im a little skeptical as one of the LG based ROMs destroyed my GPS to the point where even after resetting to stock my GPS is hit or miss. Anyway, the list will be helpful in preventing further damage from my phone. If you want some brownie points, you can also suggest what you think the best ROM for ZVD is and I will look into that. Thank you!
There are 2 based solely on zvd right now for cdma Sprint.
Zvc will work also as the only main differences people have taken from zvd is knock code.
Zvd
Affliction
2facedrom
Cloudyfa g3 port will work but may have some issues.

I see that you tested Affliction, would you recommend it?

Affliction is more broken down with a lot of the bloat gone and deodexed.
Where 2faced is not deodexed and still has more base lg and other software.
Both run great. I like what saintz did with taking and replacing some apps.
Try then both and see what you l like best.
Affliction will have another release soon. We are looking into some more changes.

Can I drop any gpad rom on vk810

As the title states I would like to rom my vk810 Verizon 8.3 gpad. I really don't care about GPS or mobile data as I don't use either on this device. Will any of the CM11 roms and others work on this device? Will I lose anything else?
My tablet is a little sluggish and loaded with Verizon typical bloatware. I would love to have a rom more similar to my lg g2 4.4.2 rom I am running. Dual screen would be nice on this tablet.

The only ROMs that'll work on our VK810.4G are ones specifically made for our variant. You can't use V500 or V510 ROMs at all, don't even try it.

Be patient my friend there is a rom in the works right now cleanrom is coming soon cleaned out with way better performance.
Awesome! Thanks for the heads up. The stock rom is laggy compared to my g2 phone but that one is running a modified stock rom so maybe thats why it blows this tablet out of the water.

This is exciting. Where did you hear this? I didn't think anyone was making anything for this tablet. I know there was a cm12 rom but that's on hold.

I heard it from the man himself Just stay tuned my friend will not be long me and scrosler chat alot.

It's official, we're getting Marshmallow!

https://support.t-mobile.com/community/phones-tablets-devices/software-updates#tmoSUPDocTitle
Now we just have to wait to see how long it takes for T-mobile to put it through testing. I can't wait to have SD card integration with the onboard memory!
Yep. I noticed this yesterday when I was seeing what is new about 20g. FWIW, 20g is just a Stagefright fix. It will sure be curious to see how long it takes LG / TMO to get Marshmallow out for our G3s. I bet its well into 2016!!!
Just can't wait!
Thia is going to be great! I hope it will work good on the Lg G3 but it will be great.
Great. Keep up the support T-mobile!
Anyone gotten or know when the update is releasing??

According to the OP's link: Out of 3 stages, the G3 is in stage 1 Manufacturer Development. If this is still true, don't expect a D851 stock Marshmallow upgrade any time soon.
When we r getting MM ?

Android Marshmallow ported for our D851 model.

Does this actually mean anything though? Are the drivers/modules for GPS/Wi-Fi/data the same for the d855 as they are for the D851?
I have been avoiding MM ROMs like the plague because they all seem to have massive issues with one or all of the above. Until the devs can take the modules and whatnot from the official D851 MM then it seems like it's going to be a problem.

Hello
I am currently with this rom and the only problem has been the bluetooth service, the rest all works perfectly. Best regards.
Note: My service provider is not t-mobile, is Movistar in Colombia.
It will tell you that everything except data works perfectly and that the data is buggy, it says data is buggy on all of the port though soo
The tmobile lg g4 is rolling out its 6.0 update. Hooefully were not far behind.

If you guys look on their webpage and try to click on any of the Update links after clicking on device topic ( /docs/DOC-11935 ) the page is a 404 so i think they are about to Go into Tmobile Testing for the G3
The update page shows it Manufacture Development. On the bright side the G4 went from development to release without the testing stage.

LG G3 to swap with LG G2?

Hello guys,
I bought my father an LG G3 and I can't decide if I want to swap it for my LG G2. I know that the G3 has slight overheating problem, but there is a fix. It is running stock right now, but I always use CM on my devices for maximum performance on old devices like ours. Can someone with CM or any lightweight AOSP ROM run an Antutu benchmark? It is preferable if you don't have crazy amount of apps so the results are as good as possible. I know that the benchmark isn't everything, but it will at least give me an idea if it is worth it reading 2 hours of information about rooting and flashing.
I am happy with my G2. I get 51k on CM13. He gets 50k on stock. The only thing I really like for now is the display and the solid metal band around the display. In your opinion - is worth it swapping the phones or not? Is it a big jump in performance?
I will be very happy if you do the tests and save me time to flash only to test. Thanks.
Don't swap it man! What model/country is the G3? You should update to Android M, you'll get better performance if it's available. CM 13 is also a stable rom but I'm currently stock Marshmallow and getting

I am getting 53k after installing all my needed apps. I used to have CM 13 but don't want to go through the trouble of downgrading to KitKat, flashing, etc. Sorry if it isn't the answer you were looking for...
