tilt 2 auto lock

hi, I am curious where to go to set the tilt 2 to automatically lock to the winmo 6.5's screen after like a few minitues of not use. I konw that if I press the end call button for a few sec, it locks it but is there a way to do it automatically after a few minutes?
thansk.
Try This
I can give you a suggestion, but I have the Verizon version, so it may be a little different. I also may depend on your ROM...
Goto Settings > System > Smart Lock. Checkmark Dim Lock box.
Goto Settings > System > Power. Select Backlight, set backlight dim time, and then your device will auto lock when your backlight dims.
I also use Gyrator to auto lock my phone when I turn it upside down. (I always insert in my pocket upside down (Reverse portrait), but I never use it upside down, and this prevents unwanted button/screen presses while in my pocket.)
thnak you so much for the reply. It appears to me that the ATT version has slightly different setting for it. I do see the lock option but that would require a password, anyway to still let it enabled without any password? anyone with ATT can shine some lights.

I believe the Lock Setting Devoncoon is referring to is fixed with SmartLock (app here on XDA). That might help to download that app, if you have not done so. Once you install it, set it up as Devoncoon instructed you, and you will not require a password lock.

circle case

hi friends need help, when i open my circle case cover the phone auto unlocks, how can i stop this and set it to swipe unlock when the cover opens
You can go into Settings and from there you can see the Quick Circle options. I think you need to untick the "auto unlock" option. I don't have the phone with me right now but I know there is an option to turn auto unlock off.

[Q] Why can't I disable my lock screen?

I have a Galaxy Note 4 on AT&T that I purchased about a week ago. Everything worked great up until today. I have been successfully using the fingerprint lock to keep my phone locked while I'm at work. Tonight, I unlocked it and went to disable the fingerprint lock, but now the "swipe" and "none" options are greyed out and disabled with "Turned off by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage" and won't allow me to disable it. I have not been tinkering with anything and have no idea how any of that stuff could have been enabled since the phone was just sitting in my desk at work.
So, how do I get that turned off so that I can disable my lock screen when I am at home or away from work?
Thanks!
it seems like you may have enabled other security features like.. encryption which does not allow you to turn off the lock screen.. try disabling these extra protection s

And how would I do that? I'm not seeing anything enabled on my phone. I may be missing something. And again, nothing had been changed from the previous week's use. I enabled the fingerprint lock on it, put the phone in my desk, and left it there. Once I got it back out, I was no longer able to disable the lock. I can unlock the phone, I just can't turn the lock off. Hopefully I'm just missing a setting somewhere and it will be easy to fix.

Well, I somehow managed to figure out the solution. It apparently had something to do with the credential storage. I found the settings for that and had my phone clear the credential storage. After that, I powered my phone off and back on and it started working normally.
Now, the next question. How did some app set credentials to where my screen unlock couldn't be turned off?

[Q] My screen locks too often (requiring pattern or pin very often). Why?

I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue. I have to enable a PIN or pattern lock to allow a corporate secure wifi network setting to be saved and for something else (I think for my bank app). From the G4 settings it seems like you can set it to NOT lock when turning off with power button (last option), and a 30 minute timeout before it auto-locks. Yet despite that, mine still seems to lock requiring a pattern input and not just a swipe if I leave it on the table for just a minute. What am I missing?
Thanks all!

These settings are under Lockscreen. Right at the end. It should work, unless you have another app controlling locking.
Exactly.. it "should work"... but it isn't. It insist on locking all the time.. Could the fact that I"m connected to said secure WIFI cause that?? (vs just having an entry for it)
You could try going under the setting for Security - Phone administrators. Look if there is something that is controlling phone lock.
I know for my example, I must enable PIN locking, but my phone administrator for that account enables up to 30 minutes before forcing lock. So as long as I uncheck the setting for "Lock phone immediately on power button," my phone will immediately be unlocked within a 30 minute window where I don't need to enter my PIN.

Right, that's what I'm going for / expecting. I have 3 in there, Android Device Manager, Support & Protection (Verizon thing it looks like) and AirDroid. Only Android Device Managers is checked ON. ADM can obviously affect the lock screen and can change the lock password, but I don't see anything else which would affect this timeout being ignored. hmmmm
(Thanks, BTW!)
I was looking at my Smart Lock section and read the blurb about On-body detection, which was the only Smart Lock I had enabled. It says "Just unlock once and your device stays unlocked as long as you keep holding your device or carry it on you." .... "Your device will lock when it detects that it's been set down"..!! So, I've now turned on-body detection OFF as, in this case, it's working against me. Seems it's not too well integrated with the other options (ignores the Security Lock Timer).
If I don't post back, it's probably working as hoped.
Disabling on-body detection has definitely solved my issue with the G4 locking shortly after setting it down on the desk.

how disable "touch input blocked" warning. and other smart lock advise..

As the header says...
I use glasses, so...
I do not use any face recognition anymore but use my Lametric clock bluetooth to "smart" unlock.
Other smart unlocks do not seem to work properly; like trusted places.
Same with my note 9. Says it's not connected. ("Can't add device, be sure...") Yes I am sure it's nearby and it's paired
Voice unlock works reasonable but starts up the assistent.
If anybody has a hint to use other smart unlocking tools..
I use Google Wif
Idem Automateit.

Pfff how I miss the finger....
In order to get rid of the "Touch input is blocked" message you have to disable a display setting.
Open your device settings and go to the 'Display' menu. Scroll down a bit under 'Display' and find the setting that says 'Block accidental touches'. Disable that toggle and you shuold no longer see the message.
Pfff, that did it. some people know everything.
Thanks a lot!

I got this message in Note 9 and compared to behaviour of my wife's Note 9 whose phone was ok and found what's causing it.
Block accidental touches toggle made no difference for me.
Go to Accessibility then Dexterity and interaction and check if option for easy screen on is on. If it is, turn it off. Then it works as supposed.
In my case with this feature on, after covering the sensor, my screen would come on after about 30 seconds with said error. With it off, it turns off completely as I remember on my Note 8.
