few times a day my H815, currently with v20e (but it happened with v10h too) making the default notification sound but there's no notification at all .
my NFC is off so that's not the problem .
I didn't installed new apps . anyone has an idea what can cause it?

This phone is really doing my swede in ...Firstly i have upgraded to MM . BUT i am sure the other bits didint work before. I don't get LED notifications for email text and whats app also it does not vibrate when i receive them. I have gone through every setting i can on the individual apps most of which are stock LG not downloaded apps.
If i have to go back to lollipop is this easy please? I went to the H815 20D and it installed MM automatically didn't really want it but seemed to be ok.
Checked all entries but no one has found a certain solution for this problem yet ;( I tried every suggestion but few apps still shows notifications lately (instagram)
or showing without sound (okcupid)
or with no vibrate like tinder...l
Any suggestion to get rid of this paranoia? Im sick of checking screen for notifications all time.

since few days ago i have notice that i don't recive any notifications sound or notifications on the notification bar
there are some apps that i can see the notification but apps like Whatsapp,Telegram, Facebook, Gmail and more i don't recive any sound or any notifications
i only recive a vibrate of the massages
i tried to delete the apps , it first work for the Whatsapp but after few hours the problem came back
i read about the problem with the 8.1.0 (that i got on my phone) notifications but i am not sure if it is the same problem
so did this happned to anyone and find a way to fix this problem?

Have not experienced the issue you are having. Are you full stock or rooted?? If stock, maybe side load the OTA build your on. If rooted, fastboot the factory image your on with the -w flag removed. Do you have any substratum themes enabled that could be causing the problem?? If none of the solutions I've listed solve the problem, then factory reset.
Hi, my phone is running stock global version number 9.6.1.0 and today something odd happened. I turned the phone after 25 hours it was off and many of my settings was changed- the order of the settings in the notification bar was changed, it showed the clock at am-pm style but it was on 24h mode before, vibration on button was set on but didn't worked and the symbols of the notifications at the status bar are gone, only "..." is shown (i had 3 notifications so it should have shown them). So did it happened to anyone else? Is someone messed with my phone remotely? Is it a bug? Is xiaomi messing with the setting like google? I would like to know what you think.

I had same situation, after that i factory reset it and some was fixed some was not, and that was trigger to go on LOS15.1, best thing happend to me as smartphone user ?, forget on miui it sucks period! Frankly i miss floating ball and few othere things, but i for sure dont miss lag, bugs and othere sh***! So i couldn't fix notification and all those things, but i could unlock bootloader and flesh los magisk and evrtyhing else. So try it.if you need aome help contact me...
Hi everyone. i need your kind assistance / advice regarding the below problems:
Problem is sometimes my Whatsapp incoming message does not have any sound notification / vibration. I had setup all the notification setting in phone as well as Whatsapp. I had also change the notification sound from Custom to Default and same problem happens. Please help.
My current version is 9.0.0.192 (Global Version)
I have had it happen intermittently on L29 but seems to be less frequent recently

Thanks for the reply. Yesterday I uninstall and re-install WhatsApp. It seems to be fine now. Will monitor for a few more days.
