Nexus 5X with Android 6.0.1. App permissions keep crahsing. Anyone know how to solve this problem?
did you restore any apps after the update to 6.0.1?
Even i had this issue in my Nexus 4 once. The only thing that solved it was to factory reset and reinstall all the apps again.

I have an "app data" sync issue since updating to stock android 4.3 (JWR66V).
I sideloaded the update from a rooted 4.2.2 (stock). Maybe that caused a problem...
I tried to delete my Gmail Account and readd it, but with no effect.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem or knows a solution to that?
Thank you!
Did you ever figure out your problem? I am having a similar issue with my Moto X running stock 4.4.2 and I'm at a loss.

It just FC after I try to open it. Anyone else having this issue or might know the solution?
I tried clearing cache and data and still does not solve the issue.
I'm running stock un-rooted.
Has anyone had issues with google maps lately? It will freeze and or close out on its own, both my girlfriend and I are having the same problem.
Using T-mobile s3 full stock rom, never rooted.
Thank you for any help!
What firmware build are you on? And have you tried wiping Maps data and uninstalling updates, then reinstalling?
Android- 4.3
Build- JSS15J.T999UVUENC2
I will let you know how it goes after wiping maps data and uninstalling updates, then reinstalling. need to test it out
Thank you !
UPDATE: so yea it still has the same problem, any suggestions? thanks
You could try factory resetting, but this will wipe all your apps and data, including your internal sd card. Not being rooted makes backing up anything other than the sd pretty much impossible though so you'd have to reinstall and setup everything from scratch.
Its possible it could be an issue with the app itself, but ive not heard anything else about it so I cant say how likely this is.
Only ither option I can think of is to make sure auto update apps is off in the play store, then uninstall the maps update and try running the older version.
alright thank you, I think im going to go ahead and root it and put a custom rom

So I rooted my phone and installed the SlimKat rom and still have the same problem, it seems after about 40 minutes of navigation Maps just closes out, no errors

It's an issue with Maps. It has been happening since 8.0 on my Nexus 5 and 7, wife's S3, buddy's Nexus 4 and 7, and his dad's HTC One (M8).

Hi
Fresh install of 5.0.1 from google images, rooted and then a few weeks later flashed boot, boot loader and system from 5.0.2 and re rooted.
All of that went fine.
But I'm finding major stability problems. The tablet is hanging, crashing, losing the all icons on the home page including the bottom row.. Only choice I have is to force a reboot and it works for a day or two.
Its very slow and laggy.. Any ideas ?
On 4.4.4 it was fine, as soon as I upgraded the problems started. I've kept it up to date to see if that will help, but its not.
I am considering going back to 4.4.4 which is a shame as I do like the look of 5.
Help !?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Free mobile app
So its jut me then
Think I'll look for a alternative ROM
It's not the ROM. I did the same as you and it's running better than ever.
Did you try running fastboot format cache? Or I guess you can wipe it from recovery.
How did you root? I know chainfires regular non-auto zip works fine, don't know about any other methods.
Maybe an app you have is causing problems?
If none of the above apply try another full clean install from the latest image.
I flashed SuperSU via TWRP and wiped cache etc.
Think I'll backup what I needed a default it to start with.. Then see how it goes.
For what it's worth, I've used Apex Launcher on my Nexus 7 (2013) and Nova Prime on my Nexus 5 and haven't had any issues with redraws, lag, etc. Maybe it's the Google Now launcher.
My camera encountered a fatal error after Android Pie update but I'm still able to use Snapchat. I'm using a brand new Pixel 2 Xl and right after I updated to Pie yesterday I haven't been able to connect to my stock camera. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Try clearing data/cache
Then force stop
Then reboot phone
What he said in the post above. Had the same issue on DP4. It fixed it. Reboot after you clear.
I had the same issue. I didn't think about clearing the camera app cache. I flashed the factory stock 9.0 image, and the problem disappeared.
I've done all of the above I cleared cache and data with a restart I also updated OTA if that wasn't mentioned. I've also done a factory reset with Android Pie and still getting the crash prompt.

Not cool
Sounds like a hardware issue now.
I have this issue also and no fix with it, it's hardware, at least on mine, I have try a couple things, wiping, deleting, flashing, restoring, even downgrade to Oreo and still freezing and rebooting when try to open the app and camera.
This start to happen when I update to September update.
I contacted Google support and the most rare question it was; What was the camera app version I have?ñ mine is 5.3 I said, so then he/she told me that is going to send me a replacement.
I am thinking that they know what this issue is and probably there's no fix for it with the software, only change the camera or whatever is the problem with the board.
