Does anybody know of any roms that has Gapps baked into it? You never know which gapps are going to work with which rom, and the authors dont keep everything sync'd up.
Any of the roms based on stock do. But anything CM or AOSP based won't. I use Slim Mini gapps.

I'm tired of CyanogenMod, it there always seems to be something wrong with it, this there a custom Gingerbread Rom out there does work 100%? I am no expect on modding Roms but I am guessing CM team strips the original OS down and rebuild it, any that keep the working OS and just have some nice mods for it?
No, because there is no official Gingerbread rom for the Wildfire, ALL ROM's for it are built from source. (Or based on other ROMs, which themselves are built from source) (Except SFM, obviously, which is build from the Salsa ROM - But its not really complete for daily use as you know)

Thanks, so let me get this straight in my mind, 2.3.3 mod like Cm7 are built for other android phones who got Gingerbread officially? so they only way to get the kind of ROM I am looking for would be to look for a 2.2 ROM?
No, CM7 is built from the source code of the Android OS. Its not based on any phone's ROM.
I was assuming from your query you were looking for a GB ROM based on the official ROM, which is why I posted that.
I've been wondering....
1. Is there any really close 4.2.2 or 4.3 TouchWiz rom's yet that have S-Apps on it yet?
2. If not what is the best, or closest TouchWiz-esque 4.2.2 or 4.3 rom?
I just just feel like all CM, AOK/SP roms feel naked Without TouchWiz or S-Apps, yes I know there's some alternative S-Apps for CM, AoK/SP roms.
3. Has anyone thought of trying to incorporate ChameleonOS With TouchWiz like the MyMiUi?
4. And there really still is no sign or mention of a Official Sammy 4.2.2 or 4.3 for us yet is there?
I wanna upgrade to 4.2.2 or 4.3, but I don't wanna TouchWiz and keep looking at my rom/phone feeling like something is lacking or missing from it.
For a touchwiz Rom I like cleanrom 5. If you want an aosp Rom go with slimroms or beanstalk
Hey,
I was just wondering if anyone has a list of ROMs that do not ship gapps.
Even the "newer" Cyanogenmod ROMs come with a google-store app(although outdated), that cannot be removed.
The last CM that doesn't seem to include any form of gapps is 6.1.1, but I really want to use a GB Rom.
So what ROMs dont come with absolutely NO gapps(Youtube, Talk/Hangout, Maps, playstore, you name it...)?

You can delete the unwanted apps from the /system/app folder before installing.
Ok. Thanks a lot. I guess this Thread is redundant then.
I'm looking for any AOSP kernels not based on CM. It turns out the current 3.4 kernels for CM mess up my phone badly causing random reboots. I do not yet know how to build a kernel, hence I'm searching for the possibility of any that is not CM based.
Nope, they are all forked from CM's common one unfortunately
And it wouldn't just require building a kernel...you would need to port another AOSP kernel which is no easy task
Then I guess it's back to TW for good until the problem I'm having with CM 3.4 kernel is fixed, if ever. It was a nice ride with CM right from my GNex to this SGSIII d2spr. Now I can understand why AOKP do not have an AOSP ROM for the Sprint variant of the S3... It just doesn't work...
FAIL for CM... Bye to CM...
in what way does your phone "mess up"? i have the same device and i have not had a problem with Kernels at all
im trying to install elemental IX on top of AOKP but i dont know which version i should use. I tried downloading one the nightlies, but it wouldnt work. IM trying to do this through GOO.IM manager. has anyone else out there done this, and if so what version do i use and how do i do it. thanx

First, I recommend you flash Elemental X in recoveries instead of GOO.IM amanger, download it from the developer's xda thread here, and flash it in recoveries.
Which AOKP are you using? The Official one in this thread which is the same as the on AOKP's own website? or the Unofficial one posted here on XDA?
The Official AOKP is currently based on CM CAF Kernel, which means you should use CAF ROM with it, ElementalX is not going to work with CM CAF based ROMs so if you are on this version of AOKP I would stay away from ElementalX for now.
The Unofficial AOKP is based on stock AOSP Kernel and work fine with ElementalX, If this is version you are on I would recommend you get Elemental X 1.8 Beta as other users have said it provides really good battery life.
Thank for the help but I have a few questions
What is the difference between installing in recoveries and goo.I'm
And would I want to install aokp first, then elementals or vice versa.
Would I have to completely uninstall too in order to not use it for the installation
I think I initially tried installing it in recovery mode but it couldn't see the target file
