Since the Note 3 is about to be released in about a week or two, I would like to hear some thoughts on the best time to off-load the Note 2 and still get a decent value for it before the prices plummet. I don't think the Note 1 really plummeted that much when the Note 2 came out. It took a couple months to really drop appreciably, but it was obviously dropping much faster than before the Note 2 was released. I have no idea about the Note 2 value after the Note 3 release. I am looking to quickly sell my Note 2 and buy up the Note 3 with little downtime in between phones. The thing is, if I sell early, the price of the Note 3 will be higher. If I sell later, the Note 2 value will have diminished. I need to find the sweet spot so I lose the least amount of money and pay the least amount of money.
I would say the price of the 3 will drop quicker than the value of the 2.
I'm also in a waiting game.

I always do this waiting game
What I do is sell my current phone before the next gen phone is released so I would sell your note 2 and I use an old android phone for about a month and buy the next gen phone you'll lose little money doing this

I have owned every note from 1-3. My note 3 i replaced so many parts on since it suffered a lot of dropping abuse on my end and ironically the first phone I decided to go caseless on. I am quite the android fanboy to say but I have also owned every iphone to toy around with. My note 3 died around the time the iphone 6 came out. I decided to rock a 6 plus till the note 4 came out. At first I was just totally frustrated by all of ios short comings and restrictions. Coming from a noted and highly customized note 3, it was a total pain in the ass. In the past 2-3 weeks I have however developed quite a liking toward my 6 plus, while eagerly waiting the note 4 release. I played with the note 4 several times at best buy and was about to buy one out of contract today from someone who preordered. I do not have upgrade available atm, my next upgrade would be in about 40 days or so. I could get a note 4 for 600 flat tomorrow new off contract which isn't bad considering upgrading thru sprint is 400 with activation and taxes. Now I am heavily considering if the note 4 is worth switching to. I have to admit I was not a heavy s pen user and multi window I used rarely. My 6 plus has battery life that I have never experienced on a smart phone since this one really really odd note 2 ( i had the note 2 in both colors and on 2 diff carriers)that I had that seem to last forever. My question is do you guys feel I should wait and hold out for the note edge? While I am highly attracted to the note 4, the edge is really captured me when the two phones were announced. Anyone else making the move from a 6+?
Go with the Note 4

Hi. I've been a loyal user of Galaxy Note 2 since the day it was first released in the UK (October 2012). Sadly, I had to get another device 6 months ago as Note 2 was no longer supported in terms of software (I had software security concerns) and I went for a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. However, I kept using my Note 2 now and then, mostly as my alarm clock and often as a second small tablet, and there were no sudden freezes or restarts or any kind of slowing down whatsoever. A couple of weeks ago, I saw that Samsung released a newer Kitkat build for the Middle East region with all the Stagefright issues solved and the March 2016 Security Patches applied. I immediately flashed that ROM. However, the issues I mentioned earlier (slowing down, freezing) started to come up. Although I was happier in terms of security, I couldn't bear the problems and flashed the UK stock ROM and did a reset again. However, the problems are still persisting. I haven't got much apps on it either. Social media apps like Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Whatsapp, Viber, Instagram etc. Have I done anything wrong during the times I was flashing the software you reckon? I almost get the user experience I got from the first gen Galaxy S phone on Android Gingerbread now. Any suggestions on how I can get rid of these problems? I am thinking of giving it to my mum until the prices of Galaxy S7s decrease in the upcoming months, she's currently using a Galaxy S2 i9100 so Note 2 would be a much better phone for her for the mean time until I can get a S7 for her, ONLY if I can solve the freezing problems of course. Any suggestions?
Hello everyone.
I bought Honor MW2 and go to swimming pool. Everything was fine till I had change swimming style from breaststroke/freestyle to backstroke. First 100 meters was counted but next pool lenghts was not counted at all.
When I back to breaststroke/freestyle MW2 started counting meters. Can I do anything with the latest firmware (1.0.0.30) to solve this problem?
Before I used Xiaomi MiBand 4 and after last firmware update there was no problems at all (before it was counting too much).
Thanks in advance.
Hey guys,
Im looking to buy an used Pixel 3 XL for my personal use, and as i have been researching around, i have noticed that the Pixel 3 XL seems to have a massive issue with screen burn and a pink hue, the latter one even on BNIB units (AFAIK) and would like to know if this issue persist to this day (most threads i find are from 1 or 2 years ago), what causes it and if i should actually buy this phone based on these issues. Kind of scares me lol
Thanks for reading!
