Hi is it possible to create a temp root for international model of HTC One M8 because i want to S-Off instead of using HTCdev since im from Singapore where my phone is the international model. Weaksauce does not work on international models.
No. You have to HTC dev unlock. Only Verizon models have a temp rooted solution

Hi Friends...I need you help Urgently.
I have a T-mobile Unlocked HTC One M8 which I am using on my AT&T Sim card. I would like to remove the entire T-mobile software and would like my phone to have exactly the same software that come with a Factory unlocked phone from HTC.COM. Is it possible? If yes, please provide me step by step instructions on how to achieve it. Current S/W number is 3.32.531.2 Android 4.4.4. Also, T-mobile has blacklisted the IMEI but its working fine on AT&T. (got burnt on craiglist).
OR (if above is not possible)
Can it be converted to a AT&T Phone?
Thanks for your help in advance.
SS
You can change your phone to whatever you want by changing the CID and MID. You just need S-OFF and a little search in the general section and your good to go. There are guides everywhere.

Sir,
I am a bit of an amateur in these things. Can you please guide me with step-by step instructions on how to achieve it with S/W links that need to be downloaded? I don't want to end up messing my phone, so your help will be highly appreciated.

Hello guys
Sorry I am new to the HTC flashing rom business and have a few questions that are on my mind
Currently I have an HTC M9 that is S-off with current details:
Htc_himauhl PVT S-OFF
CID:11111111
OS- 1.32.708.15
Here are my questions
1. I need to update this bad boy to the latest software, after installing sync manager, can I just download 2.11.617.15 / Unlocked/Developer edition RUU found on http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-m9/news/ and flush away or do I need to do additional steps??
2. If I can flush away, will my S-off automatically switch back to S-on because I updated to official RUU?
3. If I somehow upgrade to an official or custom rom with a higher version, and I later on plan to go to stock rom, can I downgrade directly if I run an RUU that 1.32.708.15 with out any additional steps??
Do let me know guys
Thanks
If you're M9 is AT&T then yes you can run the RUU 2.11.617.15 on your Pc and convert it to a Developer Edition.
There is already a thread on how to convert AT&T M9 to Developer Edition
Once you're S-Off it will stay that way unless you manually go threw the steps to put back S-On. So flashing firmware /radios/Roms will not affect the S-Off status
But you really need to find the thread how to convert your AT&T M9 to Developer Edition it has all the answers your looking for.

Your OS- 1.32.708.15 is not AT&T (x.xx.502.x is AT&T)
It may be necessary to change your MID also to do a full Developer Edition conversion.
Morning All,
So now that my 1 year warranty is up I have S-OFF'ed my M8 and I would like to now convert the device into the developer edition of the M8. The question is what's the simplest way to go about doing this? After some Googling, I found this Conert One M8 to Developer Edition if I am on Lollipop does that make a difference to the guide? Also, if I change just the CID and boot into the ROM what would happen? Would I get an OTA or would it soft brick? Also, there is a USA Developer Edition which that URL is using, is there a European Developer Edition?
I am just looking for the simplest method to get to Dev Edition and leave it at that, majority of the guides I read all were made with KK in mind and I don't know if LP will make a difference.
Change cid
Change mid
Flash dev firmware
Install dev ruu
hello everyone. i have a htc m9u and i would like to know how to convert it into a developer edition. i saw there are many guides how to convert at&t, sprint m9 into developer editions but there's nothing for htc m9u. if someone can tell me how to convert it into developer edition i really appreciate it

It's same as at&t, cid to BS_US001 and mid to 0PJA11000 then flash developer ruu
You need S-OFF for that.
I'm pretty sure that there is a universal guide in the ReadMe thread.
