Hello guys
Sorry I am new to the HTC flashing rom business and have a few questions that are on my mind
Currently I have an HTC M9 that is S-off with current details:
Htc_himauhl PVT S-OFF
CID:11111111
OS- 1.32.708.15
Here are my questions
1. I need to update this bad boy to the latest software, after installing sync manager, can I just download 2.11.617.15 / Unlocked/Developer edition RUU found on http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-m9/news/ and flush away or do I need to do additional steps??
2. If I can flush away, will my S-off automatically switch back to S-on because I updated to official RUU?
3. If I somehow upgrade to an official or custom rom with a higher version, and I later on plan to go to stock rom, can I downgrade directly if I run an RUU that 1.32.708.15 with out any additional steps??
Do let me know guys
Thanks
If you're M9 is AT&T then yes you can run the RUU 2.11.617.15 on your Pc and convert it to a Developer Edition.
There is already a thread on how to convert AT&T M9 to Developer Edition
Once you're S-Off it will stay that way unless you manually go threw the steps to put back S-On. So flashing firmware /radios/Roms will not affect the S-Off status
But you really need to find the thread how to convert your AT&T M9 to Developer Edition it has all the answers your looking for.

Your OS- 1.32.708.15 is not AT&T (x.xx.502.x is AT&T)
It may be necessary to change your MID also to do a full Developer Edition conversion.

So I converted my phone to a GPE edition. Now I'm thinking of switching back in the near future to check out what HTC has done with Android 5.0.x but is there an RUU file out? Cause on the HTC dev site there are a lot of FW files but I'm not sure if they are the correct one. Also my phone was unlocked I live in Belgium so wich one should I use?
Thanks in advanced!

Yes. It is the stock WWE RUU.
Make sure you back up anything that is important to you, as this will wipe your device.
Does a diffrent CID can make you get update first in row?

The cid is HTC__O32 and the mid 0PJA10000

I cannot find a RUU to fix it.
Please help me, write me a guide and give me a link where i can download the latest RUU.
Check out the HTC One M9 Stock File Collection thread over in the General section and look at the 5th post for 'Flippy498's Google Sheet'.

as above mentioned by @j to the 4n you can flash all/most of the roms in development thread without changing your cid....

I know about this roms but i can't give to warranty 3 AT with this rom
Battery is damage. 100% in 40 min. with normal use is not enough and not normal for 30 days the use of.
Now i have Leedroid on my HTC but i must return to stock recovery and rom.
But i don't have backup from my htc with original software.
I'm really sorry for my bad english...
Guys i bought this htc one m9 ATT variant it has android 5.1.1 lollipop and its S-off and htc dev unlocked already can you guide me how to reach offical htc m9 nougat rom with twrp recovery thanks
Get back to stock (= stock recovery and an untouched system image) and install HTC's OTAs via the software update function of the phone. All needed information can be found in the ReadMe thread.
recovery is stock if i press the update option it says no update is availble and makes me wait 24 hour before update so OTA are no go for me
Then your MID and or CID probably don't match the ones that belong to AT&T's SKU (502). If you could post the output of fastboot getvar all (without your IMEI) here we might be able to solve that problem. In addition, it might be useful if you could post the MID that is engraved at the bottom of the back-side of your phone.
Aside from that, are you sure that AT&T already distributed android 7 for the M9? HTC's US website only provides an android 6 RUU. If you don't care about the AT&T stuff and on your phone and want to get android 7 now you could convert it to the Dev edition (SKU 617). A conversion guide can be found in the ReadMe thread.

At least here in the United States, the developer edition of the M9 is the only SKU that has received Android 7 Nougat - none of the carrier versions have Nougat.
