Currently i'm using CM 13 on my LG G4. It's working fine so far, no real problems. The only thing that i'm truly missing is the camera from stock LG. The BEST THING of CM 13 is the AudioFX, because i love music with some echo effects.
My question is: Is it possible to get AudioFX on LG Stock MM? And if so does anyone has a guide or a link to it?
Previously i tried to root my LG G4 via TWRP root but it resulted in a bootloop.
I will appreciate it if anyone can help. The music of AudioFX is just TOO GOOD

Hi to all,
I've decided to create this thread in order to discuss this amazing sound MOD and the possible problems/ difficulties that we got in order to install it in our G4.
Currently the MOD is in version 7.0.3 but it's not compatible with G4 MM ROM's.
I've tried several ways to install with no luck, sometimes it's stops starting system or after the phone boot, there is no sound app installed.
I'm running Genisys 3.4 ROM (because had a lot of problem with the installation on 3.5) and running the MOD version 6.0 (I've not tried 6.2 because of some report about bad bass, and 6.0 has an amazing sound to me).
When reporting our case, please mention SO version (LP, MM, etc), ROM (stock, CM, genisys), busybox app, SElinux profile and superuser version, in order to understand and help each others!
I'd love assistance/advice as well. I'm attempting to install Xtreme Music on my VS986 ( Verizon G4) and can't find any direct instructions.
I am on CM13 with Llama Sweet Kernel ( LG G4 H811 ), and I really miss the universal RC provided by LG QuickRemote.

It's designed for G2/G3, It did get LG QuickRemote up and running on G4 CM13, but the "LERAN" function didn't seem working, any idea on how to get it working on G4?
I think that G4 uses another code for learning than G2/3 or it requires some framework or driver

i think theres one for aosp in the THEME section at the bottom of all sections.

I think that's for stock ROM, already try it on AOSP, It‘s a no go.
Can anyone with Stock ROM unload file in '/system/app/LGQRemote'

not sure never been on aosp cm only once for less then half an hour.. but i think i have read that theres specially for aosp or cm as stock wont work..

I need your suggestions which ROM to flash to my LG G4 H811.
I flashed LineageOS 14.1 latest build with twrp-3.0.2-0-h811, but I couldn't use any camera apps (I tried google camera, google photo, cameraMX etc, none of them work). I always get "Camera has stopped". I saw someone has similar issue. However, most users with this room can get camera work but with minor issues.
The stock ROM camera works fine, but I really need third-party ROM to get multiple users feature.
Can anyone recommend a ROM that camera at least work (no need to be as good as stock) but with multiple users feature?
For example, stock ROM with multiple user enabled?

Issue resolved by reflash 20p stock KDZ and then LineageOS 14.1 again. Everything works fine but don't why.

I am on stock Oreo, is it possible please to get somehow the stock ambient display instead of Moto display? I have read that on some phones disabling moto app will bring back ambient display, but it didnt work out for me.

I don't think that there's a way to have stock ambient display with StockROM by Motorola. However, most of the CustomROMs have this ability.

Each CustomROM that I tried had some bugs. Unfortunately, all of them had slightly disorted sound during a call in comparison with StockROM. However, these ones (mentioned below) are the best in my opinion:
7.0 - debloated stock https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5/development/rom-debloated-optimized-t3722396
7.1.2 - LineageOS 14.1 https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5/development/7-1-x-lineageos-14-1-moto-g5-t3611973
I would recommend you to use this build of LOS 14.1, if you are interested https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GO7i7h1QQcD8oY3uUBr4a2u1gJzlRkzk/view. I faced a huge problem - apps like Snapchat, Instagram or Messenger started to freeze and force close randomly, but only with august 2018 build (the latest one). Reboot didn't help at all, reinstall of LOS or crashing apps fixed problem just temporarily. Flashing build from june 2018 (link mentioned in this paragraph) seems to be a permanent fix.
If you are running stock Oreo, you have to downgrade to Nougat first. Otherwise, your fingerprint scanner will not work with any Nougat based CustomROM (idk about Oreo ones ). How to downgrade a Moto device without getting hardbrick? It's simple - make sure, yours device's bootlaoder is properly unlocked. Then, flash everything except gpt and bootloader to avoid hardbrick while downgrading. Running "fastboot erase modemst1" and "fastboot erase modemst2" commands wipes IMEI, so exclude them also.

I have already tried this combination and there was no problem while taking photos and recording videos using Footej Camera.
If you decide to try this ROM with gapps installed alongside, follow this tutorial before the first boot https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5/how-to/how-to-repair-bootloop-oreo-roms-t3791189. Otherwise, your phone will be stuck in bootloop.

It's shame there isnt any custom rom with everything working fine. I think I will go back to Lineage 14.1 and then buy a new phone. Motos arent the same since Lenovo took them.
I tried aex 5.7 build 20180719. Its preety cool, battery backup is superb but i encounter a bug. Phone hangs and stuck in boot animation when trying to change volume in voip apps (in my case imo messenger). I need to pull out battery. FYI, i cleaned flashed and i tried audio.zip patched too. So Any idea how to solve this? Do u recommend any oreo roms without this bug? Thanks
Now i am back to S102 build lollipop & i am quite happy with it. Battery backup is superb, camera quality also awesome. Tried marsgmallow S115 also but default gallery could not play videos, bb not so impressive.

Hey, did you try Mokee ROM ? I would also like to get back to Oreo, I've already tried AOKP which seems nice, but I wondered if Mokee was nice and stable enough ?
Please help me with default android version i.e. Lollipop for my Lenovo vibe k5. As i'm updated with PACROM Marshmallow and facing issue. I'm unable to make or receive calls.
If there is any other way or android version with no or less bugs, please let me know.

Try dotOS 1.2 or 2.x. it is way better than pac rom or stock. And also has volte.
