Try adblock plus from here
Note that it will not only block youtube ads but also any other ad in any app or while browsing.
It works with or without root(without root only on wifi i guess)

AdAway. Get it here.
And make sure to open the app once in a while to update the host files. Also do that as soon as it is installed.

Adobe has stopped officially supporting it, but if you have it installed, it will still work...for now.

I've been complaining about not having it for too long to not at least give it a chance. I've still got my Nexus 4 for the rooted stuff.
Used up my device limit so it doesn't work anyway. Have emailed Sky to complain and reset my limit for this month..... Lol

Tried that this morning, doesn't work. Didn't work on One X either.
It installs for me but says I need to be connected and takes me to my wifi settings. Of course I'm online.
Wth is Sky Go anyway?

then I don't know why doesn't work..
maybe is a different version of skygo app.. In the s2 I downloaded from samsung app store because I don't see in the play store.. :/
I get it hd on wifi no problem. When I try on Mobile Data, it just goes as far as HQ. I have unlimited 4G and like to take advantage of that and my hd phone. Stock jb no root.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
I think you'll need to sideload a modified APK. There are some floating around XDA.
I'd need to do that without root, is that possible?

You don't need root. It's a simple apk that was created to allow HD playback over mobile network

Meaning it's under the system apps? It should overwrite it. If not try disabling it under settings and then installing the apk.

Which ad blocker are you guys running on your Nexus 7? I'm running Adaway and it's not really working for my Nexus.
A lot of ads that I normally don't see on my phone, I always see on the Nexus.
Any advice?
I use Chrome browser if that matters.
